Mission: TANO's mission is to serve, strengthen and support nonprofit organizations and the nonprofit sector in Texas. TANO's aim is to serve a wide array of health and human services, arts, environmental, religious, educational and other charitable organizations. TANO enhances the effectiveness of Texas nonprofits by (1) maintaining information resources on management, development, technology, evaluation, collaboration and more; (2) offering group purchase programs; (3) serving as an advocate for nonprofits; (4) building public confidence and support for Texas nonprofits.
