I have seen TXACC be a strong advocate for under and uninsured patients in Texas through strengthening the clinics they receive care from. Jody is one of the most effective, steadfast, devoted, and passionate Executives that an organization can have. I have been a donor and board member of TXACC, and know that the work they do is important for the health of Texas. I don’t really know how non-profit clinics in the state could function as effectively as they do without the support of this association. Thank you for helping Texans be healthier!

As a first year Executive Director of the Raphael Community Free Clinic, I have found the TXACC organization to be a great resource for me and our clinic. TXACC is an active group that shares important information, charitable opportunities, and helps me partner with other clinics with similar concerns. I look forward to the next Leadership Gathering. Thank you for all you do TXACC!

My time as a volunteer with the Texas Association of Charitable Clinics has been incredibly rewarding. TXACC's dedication to improving healthcare access in Texas is inspiring, and as a volunteer, I've had the opportunity to directly contribute to this important work.

TXACC is excellent at supporting their members, providing training, resources, and a nurturing environment. The sense of community is remarkable, and the organization's transparent communication keeps everyone informed and engaged.

It's a reminder of why I chose to volunteer!

The Texas Association of Charitable Clinics (TXACC) has helped charitable clinics in Texas successfully navigate what is easily the most challenging time we have ever faced this past year and a half. In the early days of the pandemic, Jody and the TXACC team helped member clinics obtain scarce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and shared invaluable information about safety protocols and other resources. Through informal information sharing, webinars and a special monthly Zoom meeting, Texas clinics had the support they needed to continue providing much-needed medical services during an extremely difficult time. TXACC assists over 80 charitable clinics in Texas with education, resources, networking opportunities, advocacy and anything else that is required in order for us to achieve our mission of improving health and lives. TXACC is a wonderful, well run organization that is worthy of your financial support, particularly during these challenging days when health and access to care is so critically important to every person, family and community.

Lonestar Association of Charitable Clinics (LSACC) is an invaluable resource to charity healthcare clinics across Texas. LSACC works hard to stay abreast of the ever-changing healthcare field on a national level and quickly informs their members of the changes that may impact them. They have offered relevant webinars as well as an annual conference and Executive Director’s retreat that provided excellent information and networking opportunities. LSACC also coordinated a Legislative Day that was well attended and helped many clinics gain the attention of their state representatives. More recently, LSACC was instrumental in coordinating a CARE clinic in Dallas where local Clinics) came together and helped serve over a thousand people who had no access to healthcare. LSACC has elevated the stature of charity clinics and effectively communicates our impact as a critical part of the healthcare system. Through their many initiatives, LSACC makes it easier for their member clinics to provide much-needed care to those who might otherwise go without.

TXACC goes above and beyond to support charitable clinics throughout Texas. It provides financial, staffing, training, and other resources to help clinics provide care to those with little or no access to healthcare. It has an active, diverse, well trained board, and an excellent leader.

Texas Association of Charitable Clinics is the greatest non profit EVER. Ms Jody is the best executive director one could ask for, with a big heart and serious commitment. The working environment is great but the cause is simply outstanding. Truly a selfless endeavor to help those who cannot afford conventional healthcare, receive the best possible help. Kudos to this non profit.

TXACC has proven invaluable countless times to the various challenges and needs that arise in the non-profit/charity clinic setting. Jody is such a hard-working, committed, and effective leader that inspires and enables us to dream higher and push further each year. Casa El Buen Samaritano Clinic in Houston thanks you for being such an indispensable partner in carrying out our work with the noninsured and disadvantaged in our community!

TX Assoc of Charitable Clinics has been a very valuable resource for our clinic. As a non-profit clinic with only 1/2 of a paid staff person, we don't have a lot of resources for research, etc. Jody at TXACC has been extremely helpful in answering questions related to patient resources as well as liability issues for our volunteer doctors. It is wonderful to know that there are many other clinics out there like us, and we don't have to re-invent the wheel. Thank you Jody and TXACC!!

This year's annual conference on April 25 and 26 is sure to be the best yet! Jody and the Conference Committee are bringing some very imformative sessions to our charity clinics through out Texas. This is a one of a kind conference that helps large and small clinics alike. I can hardly wait to be a part of it again this year!

I have been in the nonprofit clinic arena for only 2 years. I came from a corporate for profit industry. I knew nothing about this area of work. In two years we have made some many changes and improvements that I could not have made without LSACC. Their input for job postings, policy and legislation has been extremenly valuable for the shaping of our clinic.

Our nonprofit's affiliation with LSACC has been a tremendous value. They advocate for us with national organizations that might help us, network us with other clinics that are similar to us, and look into getting us the resources we need to do our work. The leadership is responsive and always helpful.

Incredible collaborative resource that seeks to bring together charitable clinics all over the state to identify key issues in health care that could be barriers to the populations we serve. Additionally, LSACC provides a forum for the sharing of best practices, job descriptions, and medical supply/equipment resources to positively impact our patients.

.LSCC has been an amazing resource for my clinic this past year. LSCC worked very closely with my team and I to help open our free, non-profit , all volunteer medical clinic this past year in Round Rock, TX. The resources and guidance given was top notch and we opened prepared because of Jody and her endless hours of support.

The Lone Star Association of Charitable Clinics serves as an outstanding resource across the state for information dissemination, education to professionals (state meetings, webinars, etc.) and volunteers, needed resources to effectively operate a charitable clinic, etc. Texas is strongly represented at the national level (National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics) as a result of Jody Hopkins, Executive Director's leadership.

The association has been an excellent resource to our charitable clinic. Although we are not a new clinic, we have benefited from the extensive invformation provided by LSACC. The e-mails allow for major networking, that would not otherwise be available. They keep us informed which is essential in the medical field.

The LSACC has been helpful with partnering similar charitable clinics with each other. Also the organization has worked hard to educate its members on legislative and other issues important this unique field of charitable work. Finally, the association has been helpful in bringing together some of the experts in the field to help charitable clinics as they both start up for scratch and also growing and maturing to serve more clients.

We are a new charitable clinic in a small town. The resources at LSACC have been of great help to us. The webinar sessions made available through LSACC have been informative. We especially enjoyed the webinar concerning pharmacy and medicines in the clinic. We made several changes in our procedures based on the information in that webinar. Nice to have this resource available to us.

As a newer charitable clinic in Texas, we benefited greatly from the information available from LSACC. By providing a way for Texas charitable clinics to share best practices and resources, LSACC strengthens the safety next for the uninsured and indigent.

I have had the opportunity to work with LSACC and Jody Hopkins, the Executive Director over the last few years and what a valuable resource they are for charitable clinic and people in our state. For start up clinics, for experienced and active clinic they provide a way to share information, expertise, concerns, and resources. Starting and operating a charitable clinic in these times is a real effort, LSACC helps to lighten the burden and provide sound professional advise.

When I decided to start a free clinic, I had NO idea how to begin. Luckily, I had volunteered at a free clinic and someone told me about LSACC. I told my supervising physician about them but he did not contact them right away. Instead, I started to trying to learn about starting and running a free clinic the hard way. I was overwhelmed immediately but I kept at it and I found myself listening on a conference call designed to advise charitable clinic directors. I introduced myself and before the end of the week, Jody, from LSACC contacted ME. We set up a meeting and she shared her knowledge and her contacts and put me leap years ahead in just a one hour meeting! I am so grateful to her and the organization. And through their help, we are helping so many underserved people.

The LSACC helped our free clinic network with other free clinics around Texas, assisted us with strategic planning, fundraising and best practices, and provided a great source of professional development. Extremely valuable association for our organization to be a member of!
