Mission: The tennessee chapter of the american academy of pediatrics is committed to being a leading voice, advocate and authority for the physical, mental and social welfare of infants, children and adolescents, as well as the pediatricians who care for them.
Programs: The organization works with the bureau of tenncare, the tennessee department of education and other groups to improve the volume and quality of preventative health screens and healthcare provided to the children of tennessee.

We're very impressed with the efforts of the foundation to reach out to pediatricians across the state over the last year. Goals have been set and the board and staff are making them become reality. Way to go!
Anything that can be done to help children get healthier is worth our time, attention and money. The Tennessee Pediatric Foundation's work towards reducing and eliminating childhood obesity has the potential to change so many lives for the better.
