Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: The tennessee association of independent schools was established to be the active voice and connective resource for its member schools. It provides a wide variety of services to its members, overseeing and responding to state educational laws and policies, representing the interests of independent schools to the state athletic association, and providing professional development for teachers and administrators. Tais is the state affiliate of the national association of independent schools (nais) and the southern association of independent schools (sais).
Programs: Tais provided an estimated 40 events/opportunities for professional development for its member schools' teachers and administrators during the school year.
