Mission: Tender rock counseling offers couseling services, including discounted fees through charitable funding and our low-fee clinic, to individuals, couples, and families. Trc also provides professional training for masters' and ph. D. Level therapist externs, and educational programs for the community and professionals in the medical and mental health fields.
Programs: Tender rock counseling (trc) works diligently to provide counseling services to people in need at below-market rates (including pro bono). During 2014, trc provided counseling services to 148 clients, for a total of 1358 hours of counseling. Of those clients, 10 qualified, based on income, for our assisted fee clinic and paid discounted fees which were approximately half of the full fee rate. We expect to recruit 2-3 externs in the years to come, as supervised by state approved supervisors, to further expand our low-fee counseling and acupuncture services as our contribution to the community.
