I was a patient in the infusion area of Mercy Collette Center in Oklahoma City yesterday. A volunteer brought me a beautiful bag filled with so many helpful items. This was my first knowledge of the program and such a pleasant encouraging surprise. I am a cancersurvivor and praise the Lord for this. Once the "C" word enters your life each day and event becomes more meaningful. Thank you for the encouragement and meaningful way to show others care and we all are not alone in this walk. Blessings. When my daughter was going thru treatment, the wonderful women of Tenaciously Teal visited her at Stephenson's Cancer Center. One of the gifts they gave her was tea bags, which she quickly figured out were the best tea in the world and it became her favorite drink.
Seems so small in the grand scheme of knowing your days are numbered, but what a huge treat for her. I still have one bag left that she shared with me.
Tenaciously Teal - thank you for being so supportive and amazing.

My daughter was the lucky recipient of a gift bag while undergoing immunotherapy in November at Stephenson Cancer Center. There was a tea bag in this gift, and that tea became her favorite. She bought a box of it, sharing part of it with me.
Melanoma won and Miranda passed away January 11.
Thank you for caring and sharing and the opportunity for her to create this memory with me.
With many thanks,

After receiving a diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer, I began searching for resources. I found Tenaciously Teal and signed up for a Care Pack. It arrived in just a couple weeks with lots of different goodies. The best thing was the chemo port pillow for traveling in the car. It was something I didn’t know I needed but I am thankful for. It is nice to know that someone who has never met me, cares and is thinking of me.
Terrific charity serving the cancer community in OKC and beyond. They bring a smile to the face of many cancer survivors.
Tenaciously Teal is a newer but upcoming non-profit. It was started by Tarah Warren, a stage IV ovarian cancer survivor, who saw the need in other cancer patients needing treatment to know someone cared and was thinking of them. It started as a simple gesture of giving bags of encouragement to meet physical needs. Things like tea, mints, crossword puzzles, protein bars, hand sanatizer were originally in the bags. Over the last two years, not only does this foundation offer care packs, but brave shaves and gas and meal cards. In my opionion, they are creating a tenaciously teal lifestyle-to fight like a girl, and don't let cancer steal your thunder!
