The work done by Ten Eighteen is extremely important for this world region. I hope that they continue to bring hope, education and all the basic needs to the youth of Uganda. As a donor I feel that I am part of something special. "Good Heart" is all we need and Ten Eighteen has one. The project they have for this population are ground to earth but very successful. I will keep supporting this effort.
Since first hearing about Ten Eighteen I am continually AMAZED at all they do and ACCOMPLISH on an ongoing basis. They’re is always a new project or two in the works that can and do benefit so many people. It warms my heart to be able to be a part of this nonprofit to see how lives are changed by supporting them.
I have worked with this agency in Uganda and I am impressed not only with their innovations in working with the exploited young women in the Namuwanga slum in Kampala, but their caring and compassion for all - staff and students alike - who are part of their mission.
Additionally, they support two schools in areas of extreme poverty near Mbarara, where their support provides the only meal that some of the students have during the day. And, miracle of miracles, they raised the funds to dig a well near Rwakobo, which is the first potable water the Rwandan settlers of that region have had in forty years.
They are an agency well worth five stars -- in fact, they all have stars in their crowns!

Ten Eighteen is an incredible nonprofit. This organization shows true care for the Namuwongo community; it is dedicated to not only improving the “right now” for teen girls and mothers, but also fostering skills (e.g., entrepreneurship, literacy, vocational) that impact their lives in the longterm. One of the many great qualities of Ten Eighteen is with each donation, 100% of the contribution goes towards helping in Uganda.
Most of the girls and teen moms in NAMUWONGO slum in Uganda face Illiteracy and Unemployment which has increased cases of teen pregnancies and poverty.
Most of these girls lack opportunities and Ten Eighteen Inc through Touch The slum project has put up avenues through which vulnerable teen mothers can access vocational skills as one of the best strategies for self sustainability to break the cycle of teen pregnancy and poverty. I cannot be more happy to share my experience, thanks for changing lives of these vulnerable teen mothers and girls in Addition to the entire group of young people from NAMUWONGO slum.
An amazing organization with an amazing vision. Achieving sustainable change and growth is not an easy task, but Ten Eighteen has done a brilliant job targeting the most urgent needs, and integrating with amazing local Ugandans who want to lift their people up.

So proud of the amazing work TenEighteen has done and continues to do throughout the years. The diligent stewardship means that every dollar is maximized to make the biggest impact, and with a model based on long-term sustainability for the communities and individuals served, it means we can “graduate” people from the programs and continue to serve an expanding number of those in need. It is so rewarding to be a part of such an organization.
Ten Eighteen has worked tirelessly in the Namuwongo slum since 2009. I am very proud of the amazing work we’re doing with teen moms, setting them on a truly sustainable path.
The work that Ten Eighteen does in Uganda changes lives that were hopeless and lost to ones full of hope, joy, and promise for a better future. This organization is professional and trustworthy. More important, they truly care for those they help with empathy and kindness.
I've recently had firsthand experience working with the leadership of this organization. I am impressed by the exemplary commitment to the mission and the way they steward donors' contributions, maximizing the impact of the supporter community. The leadership does a terrific job engaging supporters with stories from the frontline, as well.
Beaufort Ole-Towne Rotary is impressed with this organization's work to help transform many teen moms' lives. From their literacy program to vocational training, they teach young women how to survive independently and how much their lives matter in this world.

Having lived in Uganda before I could see how beneficial this program was. Also, the fact that ALL the donations go DIRECTLY to people without any “overhead” cost's was very important for me. Their philosophy and love they put into it shines through. I feel these type of grassroots projects are so much more beneficial to the people in need verses large organizations that have large overhead costs.
Ten Eighteen has done a remarkable and amazing job of working with the very poor and exploited young women in Uganda. The girls' stories are heart-warming and delightful as they seek refuge with Ten Eighteen, are supported through pregnancy and early motherhood with good health care and nutrition. They learn English, computer skills, and a trade. When they finish their studies, they are treated to a graduation, where for the first time in their lives, they are celebrated and valued as worthwhile, contributing individuals. This nonprofit is inspirational and provides skills for life!
Sometimes it’s hard to know whether or not to trust someone you don’t know personally or whether or not you money will be stewarded responsibility. I can honestly say that any money that you donate to Ten Eighteen will be stewarded faithfully. They do worthwhile and meaningful work instilling value in these precious people and loving like Jesus does.
Ten-eighteen has been doing an incredible job in Uganda for many years. They understand how to work together with local communities and help those most in need with supporting sustainable programs. Their impact in Namuwongo slum ,Kampala, is incredible and so many teenage girls have found hope through them. The Covid lockdowns have sparked a huge increase in poverty, genderbased violence and out of desperarion in the search for food many girls end up pregnant and abused by men, for the sake of a meal.
Ten-eighteen, through their partners, has made an incredible impact for these girls. Food, shelter, medical care, safety and skills to transform their lives and build their future. As a neighborg to Namuwongo and development specialist, I can only say, Thank You 10-18!!
So impressed with the work they are doing and the lives they are transforming. Tough times all around the world make it very difficult to choose the right nonprofit to donate monies to if you are able - you want to be sure every penny is impactful and used for the greater good. Their mission speaks to me and I look forward to their continuous updates and stories. Blessings to those who serve and support this important work.
This is a passionate, lean and dedicated organization. It makes a monumental difference in the lives of the very very poor and it does so by ensuring that 100% of the funds received go to the program. Living in a volatile area geopolitically, Ten Eighteen provides quick response to crisis situations which seem to occur often. Congratulations and well done to Jennings Wright in the running of this wonderful program, also with support from her family. This is America at it’s best, working grassroots in a difficult part of the world, and making a real difference. Thanks to Ten Eighteen, With great respect, Bill Studeman, Admiral U.S. Navy (Ret)
As a namuwongo slum dweller, Ten Eighteen Inc has done exceptionally well in transforming the lives of the slum residents. When the government imposed a total lockdown in March 2020, Many were left helpless, sleeping hungry until Ten Eighteen came to their rescue with periodic food donations, Charcoal, wonderbags, gave clothing, helped get sanitary pads for the young girls whose parents could not afford and basic household needs that many lacked.
With many of the girls undergoing free vocational skills training to be self reliant at the Ross House, a 1018 initiative, i believe Namuwongo slum will be transformed for the better.
Not everyone has seen the importance of reaching out to the most vulnerable communities in Africa but I am really delighted as a volunteer to see Hope restored in the lives of vulnerable single teen mothers from the largest slum in Kampala and Uganda
Phenomenal group who cares deeply for those in need. I went on a missions trip with Jennings (the founder) to Uganda in 2016 and have supported from the States since then. Ten Eighteen is a top notch organization who promotes tangible and helpful change in people's lives.
