Mission: Temple Israel of Hollywood is a unique, historic congregation characterized by a strong tradition of family and community commitment. Its mission is: To provide for our members and the unaffiliated an opportunity to experience God and the holy; to express our people's highest ethical and moral ideals through prayer, education, study and social justice causes; to better understand and support the State of Israel; to provide a place in which our children will experience the vitality and meaning of living Jewish lives; and to provide for all its members a sense of community and camaraderie with the Jewish people and humanity as a whole, within the context and tradition of progressive Reform Judaism.
