Causes: Education, Educational Services
Mission: The Temecula Chess Club’s primary mission is to create a world-class club where chess players of all skill levels, ages and backgrounds can come to play. We also use chess as a tool to teach students to make good decisions on or off the chess board with our private lessons, scholastic tournaments, and after-school chess programs.
Target demographics: We help instill a passion for chess in students and adults of all ages and backgrounds.
Geographic areas served: We provide after-school chess programs to schools throughout the Temecula Valley and surrounding communities. We also host Rated Tournaments monthly for competitive chess players of all ages at our local Temecula club.
Programs: Some of the programs we offer include: Team & Scholastic Tournaments for youth, Rated Tournaments for competitive chess players of all ages, private lessons, free introductory lessons for beginners every Monday night, group lessons, and simultaneous exhibitions/lectures/lessons with visiting chess Grand Masters several times per year. We also proudly offer multiple after-school chess programs and scholastic summer camps to local youth!
