Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Education, Educational Services

Mission: The purpose of the organization is to provide inner city teenagers an alternative to gang membership, drug and alcohol abuse, and abusive family situations. Teens of tomorrow is a program that allows teens an opportunity to learn the process of business, salesmanship, and work ethic. The program is designed to help teens learn dependability, accept responsibility, and develop marketable job skills. The organization will achieve its specific purpose by providing supervised instruction in marketing, sales, and other business techniques. The participants will then proceed to sell a product (usually premanufactured and packaged food items) door to door and receive compensation from the organization for their efforts. The teen will not be permitted to accept donations connected with their sales, but rather to develop the work ethic of self-achievement and compensation by an organization much like a future prospective employer.

I had a young man at my door from teens of tomorrow. Very pleasant. I noticed the jerky with no expectation date and he explained to me it is just a best by date for peak freshness but still good. If anything, it could be a good dog treat! I will be supporting them in the future!

I've had Teens Of Tomorrow kids come to my house selling candy for the last several years.

Some may not be the most polished speakers but their motivation and hearts are in the right place.

For some reviewers to be so negative and fault finding I find pathetic.

These are kids and maybe if you took a few minutes of your time to coach them rather than judge them would probably help them with their ultimate goal.

A young teen girl of color came with a tote selling items for $9 each. She said this was for Teens of Tomorrow. I asked her to explain what this was about so she then began reading from laminated script as she kept looking back at this van she was traveling with. I saw an "IRS" emblem on her laminated card which made it look legit. She kept looking out for a ride over and over and appeared worried. Another young teen girl of color was 2 houses over. I then seen after I paid $9 a caucasian older man driving slowly up the street with a mercedes van. He looked like he was checking to see their progress. I asked the girl if she was okay and told her this doesn't seem right and if she wasn't okay to let me know. She said she was fine but with reserve as she kept looking back at this mercedes van. Neither this man nor these 2 female teens wore a mask. They then took off in that van. The bag I bought had it's expiration date rubbed off. Altho I was cheated of this money, the entire observation gave me an uncomfortable feeling for these girls. We are in a pandemic! If the people training these teens specific business skills, it should begin with "how to be safe" in the community. Something needs to be looked into about this.

Hi my name is Bridget C, A kid with a tote came to my door selling candy. I never heard of Teens of Tomorrow before I met the boy. I am a person with anxiety so I am not always good knowing what to say at first. He looked like a good kid to me. When he walked away I was thinking I am terrible with socializing and I should of asked his name. He may of even told me but I have anxiety lol. I knew he was busy with door to door so I didn’t ask about the program and he did have the flyer. He did a good pitch when I answered the door. He looked like he was doing a very good job and working hard. Anyways unknown kids name but glad I got to see him today. I hope my little donation helped him smile. So if anyone knows him just tell him he did a good job. Thank you. Omaha NE

We recently had a kid come to our door during the 2020 corona virus pandemic. The person running this ‘charity’ should be prosecuted for child endangerment. It’s bad enough he sends poor ignorant children out to sell expired beef jerky, but to do it when there is a very real health threat is criminal.

Please protect these kids. They should not be going door to door with the covid19 precaution in place. My boys are scouts and I will not let them do any door to door. Pull them from the streets. It’s not safe

Door to Door During Corona Virus Pandemic - should tell you all you need to know.
Just had a young man come to our door carrying a large plastic bin. I’m guessing he’s with the Teens for Tomorrow scam. The slime who runs this sends under privileged kids into suburban neighborhoods selling expired candy so he can reap the profits while the kids get basically nothing. On top of all that he’s sending them door to door during a pandemic. Real classy. Don’t be fooled into answering your door & buying anything. I feel sorry for the kids he’s using but about the only way to help is to not answer the door.

I was impressed with the young man that came to the door. Very polite, respectful, patient, and answered all my questions. I wondered what challenges he's faced. I think you're doing a great thing by investing in these kids. I wonder if they're taught other skillsets besides business tactics? What other morals are instilled in them?

Keep up the great work.

Very nice clean cut teen knocked at the door just a few minutes after I got home. Purchased four things from him. No regrets...well maybe one small one and not a big deal. after reading the other post the beef jerkey also had the expiration date cut off. Oh well, worse case the dogs will enjoy eating them. keep up the good work kiddos. hard work pays off. GKS

A kid came to my door trying to sell candy for Teens For Tomorrow. I told him i had no cash, wished him good luck and to have a good night. I went out to grab the mail and he flicked me off from up the road. This is not the first incident in our neighbor hood with these selfish little pricks. Garbage organization if they let their 'peddlers' act like this.
