Mission: Teen challenge of southern california (tcsc) provides youth, adults and families an effective and comprehensive christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. By applying biblical principles, tcsc endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.
Programs: Residential programs tcsc operates eight regional facilities with ten strategically placed residential facilities throughout southern california. The residential program has more than 650 bed spaces. The number of people who graduated the 1 year program last year was approximately 275. The residential program continues to be one of the largest and most effective substance abuse recovery and prevention programs of its kind.
community outreach tcsc has organized outreach teams at each location to provide services for the community through such things as afterschool programs, computer learning labs, drug prevention programs, support groups, street outreaches, jail and prison ministries, and annual community awareness events. These projects impact over 200,000 men, women, and children in southern california.
