Mission: The primary exempt purpose of technical research institute is to provide basic research opportunities for us research entities. Current investigations are in the area of advanced laser communication enhancement in turbulent atmosphere.
Programs: Tri is facilitating on-going research and development of hardware and software in the field of advanced optical designs for the improvement of signal transmission. This research will lead directly to advancements in laser communications for the us military. The work is sponsored by the army research laboratory and the research and development command (rdecom).
