Mission: Sparked by the growing need for blue collar technical workers in the event and entertainment industry, 25 Carrick Ave Project was created in 2019 as a partnership with Hearcorp. Hearcorp provides production services to more than 700 regional performing arts events per year, and offers a unique opportunity to open the door to the event and broadcast industries. The event and entertainment industry is full of blue collar jobs that pay livable wages. Entrance into this industry has historically been a mystery, and excluded women and people of color. The event and broadcast industries are projected to outgrow most other industries in the next 3-5 years, and the network of professionals, access to equipment and industry recognized certifications at 25 Carrick prepare students for entry into the job market.

Tech 25 partners with the Pittsburgh Public Schools Start on Success Work Readiness program and has always gone above and beyond for our students. Some of our kiddos walk out of their program with clearer goals, audio experience that exceeds the average high school student, and some even with a part time or full time job! The mentors there truly care about each student and focus on their needs! Tech 25 is a fantastic partnership and I'd recommend this program to anyone!
