Team HEAL is a Great Non-Profit organization serving the high school student athlete in the Los Angeles Area.
Dr. Clarence and Barbara Shields are doing amazing work.
Over 25 scholarships have been issued since 2008
Every year Team HEAL saves lives by providing over 20,000 free medical physicals since 2003
$800,000 worth of free medical service are provided every year
6,896 injuries have been treated.
Currently Team HEAL is providing service for 5 LAUSD High Schools.
There are 15 other High Schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District that need service.
The students not only receive physical care they are also inspired to reach for their dreams by the full time athletic trainers on site because of Team HEAL
