I am new to Team Giving, but I have joined in on two projects. Both projects opened my eyes to great organizations in our community that I didn't even know existed. The people I've met are warm and welcoming. I like the concept behind Team Giving and look forward to joining more teams and meeting new challenges in our area.

Mission: Our Mission: Connect Volunteers, EMpower Nonprofits, Strengthen Communities Our VIsion: Strengthening local communities by leveraging compassion and advocacy into action through volunteer engagement. Team Giving connects people and businesses to nonprofits through volunteer opportunities, supporting their missions; and we build nonprofit capacity in volunteer management and programs.
Results: Since 2016, we have coordinated over 25,000 volunteer hours with over 2,000 volunteers. We've completed 250 projects with 120+ nonprofit partners. The volunteer hours translate into over $713,OOO of in-kind donations of time and talent to the community. Team Giving has introduced new and innovative ways for the service and business communities to give back, introducing our "Philanthropy in a Box" program and virtual and remote volunteer opportunities. We remain committed to the success and sustainability of our nonprofit partners.
Target demographics: We inspire and create great partnerships in the Sacramento region We work to provide opportunities for volunteerism for community members while fulfilling the needs to of area non-profits.

Programs: Volunteer Matching programs to help companies to place their employees who want to volunteer. Virtual and remote volunteer opportunities Programs to provide needed supplies and care kits for our most vulnerable citizens. Volunteer engagement is a critical component in helping nonprofit organizations deliver on their core mission. At Team Giving, we focus volunteer engagement on true community needs. We identify key priorities in the community then purposefully seek out volunteers with the desire and core skills needed to address those needs.
