Please be wary when dealing with Team American Saddlebreds. Do your homework. Please realize that the TAS has been assuring donors that their organization has been non for profit since 2011 (a 501"c"3). This information is false, which can lead to PERSONAL AUDITS if money has been donated to this organization. It cannot be written off if the organization is not a legitimate 501"c"3. When researched through public files it is evident that the current president of the board also serves as the organization's treasurer...a conflict of interest. There have also been direct dealings between the TAS and AC4H. In short, the AC4H is currently being investigated for embezzlement and fraud charges.
The powers that be within TAS have also been contacted legally in regards to cease and desist measures brought forth by multiple groups of people who've dealt with the TAS directly in the past.
Again, research is key when choosing a non for profit organization to donate to. Remember if the organization is not registered as a 501"c"3, YOU can be penalized and audited if money has already been donated. Personally speaking, I will not donate to this organization and would advise the same to the rest of the general public. IT IS A SCAM.
