Causes: Amateur Sports, Sports
Mission: Education and training of adults in cycling to help them compete in national and international competitions, including but not limited to the olympics, while instructing youth in amateur cycling fundamentals throughout africa.
Target demographics: young men and women cyclists reach the highest levels of professional cycling, while also training people in the supporting roles (coaches, mechanics, soigneurs) to provide jobs within the sport of cycling
Direct beneficiaries per year: 7 countries, 80 cyclists, 50 support staff
Geographic areas served: unifying African countries through the sport of cycling
Programs: Trained 32 riders and ran 39 camps in 2014 in rwanda. In ethiopia, we tested 120 riders and in eritea we tested 22 women and juniors. Having positive accomplishments with riders placing in local and international races.
