Mission: The mission of Team Activities for Special Kids is to enrich and nurture the lives of children with special needs by providing opportunities for them to participate in sports, recreation and social activities. These activities help to encourage and develop new skills, as well as promote social interaction and friendships.
Programs: TASK's year-round programs for kids with special needs include basketball, bowling, dance, golf, soccer, swimming, tee-ball, modified softball, tennis, floor hockey, coach pitch softball, and volleyball. We also provide a summer camp that focuses on functional recreational skills. Our recent additions to the program include Fitness Club, Rec Night, Kids' Club and the Social Club. Our fundraisers include a golf tournament and silent auction; Trivia Night and a Dinner Dance with auctions. Our annual Awards Banquet reinforces the athletes achievements with a tangible award in a social environment.
