My partner Rob is retired Navy EOD, with a long history of TBIs. In 2022, he was in a head-on collision from a hit and run truck. We have been dealing with the various effects of cumulative TBIs since that collision, as the damage to his brain has greatly impacted his entire body. When we reached out to Task Force Dagger for advice and support, they immediately stepped in with ideas and resources. They connected us with Dr. Lipov in Chicago, and Rob has received a stellate ganglion block. They also set up consultations for us with Geoff Dardia, a health and wellness coach, who connected us to other resources, including Dr. Bryan Stapanenko who specializes in special operator issues. Jenny, who coordinated everything and frequently checks in to see how we are doing, has been amazing. The support and love we have felt from TSD has greatly benefited Rob (and me!) and we are so grateful for them!
It's an honor to play a small role in TFD's commitment to support to our Special Operation's service members and their families. Being able to assist these families and giving reassurance there are channels of support standing by in their times of need is the greatest motivator to do more and be at your best when the call to support comes in.

Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation is an incredible organization, and their ability to provide support the Special Operations service members and their families is critical. TFDSOF's mission to providing support in many areas makes such a difference to SOF families. Also, their volunteers truly care and freely give back to support TFDSOF's mission.
As a combat injured and medically retired Army Green Beret, the Task Force Dagger Foundation has been critical for me and my recovery. During my initial transition out of the military I spent a number of years floating from 1 VA drug to the next, while around me my life burned. The Task Force Dagger Foundation leadership and administrative team goes above and beyond to support veterans, and active duty as well. I am greatly appreciative to their dedication to this process for so many of us. It feels good to know that they do truly care at TFDF and will do all they can to connect us to the right programs outside the VA care system that truly work.
Finally after 4 years of wrecking my life I was able to get to the Brain Treatment Center, which as incredibly effective in helping reduce my migraines and sleep issues. Several years later, the TF Dagger Foundation has continued to push my healing through Ketamine Psychotherapy and SGB nerve blocks. Both have been effective in helping me sleep better and live a better life. I am looking forward to next steps with TFDF and could not recommend them higher!
TFD is a truly awesome organization. My family got to go on a a dagger dive trip and at 12 years old , I became a certified scuba diver. This helped me build my confidence and connect with my family. They also payed for my moms ketamine therapy which help her overcome significant trauma. It also help me trust in men after previous trauma. We can’t thank them enough for all they do for SOF family’s.
This is, without a doubt, is the best nonprofit supporting special operations veterans, service members, and their families. Having worked in the veteran nonprofit space for several years, I’ve seen firsthand how Task Force Dagger operates to keep overhead low, ensuring that the people they serve receive the highest level of care.
Task Force Dagger (TFD) is an incredible organization. Not only from their resources spent assisting SOF vets and their families, but also from within. Great staff surrounded by incredible volunteers and board members who strive to provide improvement through various modalities. TFD reminds me of the importance of service to others, which is why I enlisted in the first place. I wish their pockets were deeper so they could have an even greater impact to those in need!
Task Force Dagger came through when I needed a win. 2 years of a med board stage 4 cancer for the past 9 years, just developed a neurological condition that has taken over my / my family's life for the past two years. Unable to find any medication to control this disease and being placed on long term high dose prednisone has taken a toll on my body. I was able to find huge relief from cold immersion and some stability when the flare ups just come out of nowhere. The cost of the cold tub was substantial and the stress of the med board on our finances has been a real problem. Task Force Dagger didn't hesitate to support this ask. I am forever grateful! My family now gets to be around me when I am in a more enjoyable, mobile state thanks to this modality. They also now join me which has become a huge added plus I never thought of.
Thanks again Task Force Dagger!
Task Force Dagger’s financial assistance changed my life significantly. It was their assistance that made it possible for me to adopt my service dog Simon. After finding out the wait through the VA for a service dog would be up to three years if approved and despite several psychiatrist and psychologists’ referrals, I was resigned to living me life isolated as a zombie on anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medications and a lot of self-medication. I then was presented the opportunity to adopt a service dog from
another foundation but did not have enough cash for the full adoption payment. TFD came to my rescue and six months later my service dog are inseparable and I am living life again without medication and without fear, anxiety and depression! Thank you TFF!!!
I can honestly say that Task Force Dagger saved my life. The treatments that this organization have been able to provide to me were instrumental for my mental health. Being a female veteran SoF enabler, it’s hard to find organizations that will recognize that but I had zero issues with TF Dagger validating and supporting me as they would any other SOF Veteran. They continue to provide support and treatments without hesitation. The treatments they help provide would require months/years to get the Va to approve or would costs thousands of dollars out of pocket on my own. I am so grateful for this organization and all the work/support they provide for our community.
Our family was invited to participate in TFD's Dagger Dive event in 2023. We had no idea the impact that the event would have on our family and lives. We were blown away by the coordination, care, and love that we were shown during the week at Dagger Dive. It was truly life changing in many ways: some tangible and some intangible. After the event, the love from TFD didn't stop. Task Force Dagger financially sponsored me to receive Ketamine Infusion Therapy to help reduce some of my symptoms of PTS/anxiety and continue my healing journey. I can't say enough about this organization and what they are doing for SOF families across the board.
My family and I have been a part of TFD for many years, first participating in Dagger Dive and then as volunteers. We've experienced first hand the impact of TFD when the SOF co.muniry comes together to help. And we are honored and humbled to co tinge to give back through TFD...not just to SOF Service Members but their families too. The impact of TFD is powerful and life changing.
An absolutely incredible organization with the most kind-hearted staff and volunteers that go above and beyond to provide the best possible experience for you and your family.
Task Force Dagger is a phenomenal organization. Their dedication to providing aid to military families is unmatched, and the passion put into their pinnacle event Dagger Dive is truly palpable. I highly recommend this organization to special operations families needing assistance or respite and connection.
TFD has had a large impact on my family and several close friends. The work they do with both active duty and veterans is incredible! Such a great non profit that truly is making a huge difference in the lives of veterans!
Totally dedicated to the mission of bringing hope and healing to SOF families through world class events and programing. The deep personal commitment of their staff, volunteers, and donors makes all the difference for the Service Members and Families they serve.
Phenomenal organization with amazing volunteers coming together to support a great cause!

This organization is amazing and unlike no other! I had the pleasure of participating with them as a volunteer in providing a service to our active, retired, and wounded veterans along with their families. Seeing the faces of these veterans with their families and what this service meant to them will remain one of the most powerful experiences ever to be. What better way to give back than to those who have sacrificed so much in the name of our country and freedom. This organization puts those men and women serving our country first while helping to build back their family relationships.
Such an amazing organization that helps service members and veterans and their families. They have many events throughout the year that help to bring families together to truly appreciate time together and deepen their relationships. Awesome group of people!

TFD is such an amazing foundation and presents a unique opportunity for veterans and families to bond in a way that makes a lasting impact. That impact goes beyond the traditional veteran care and brings families closer together. The foundation provides an environment that generates a community of families and friends.
My husband was injured in late 2010 and our son and I relocated to Walter Reed for the unforeseen future. TFD was immediately there to get our son a laptop so he could continue some semblance of normalcy with his schoolwork. Not long after that, they were there talking about the dagger dive and the ability to relocate his PT to the healing waters of the blue waters of the Caribbean to learn to scuba dive as a family.
It was an amazing experience for all three of us. So much so we have returned every year as volunteers to help ensure that others have as equally amazing experience.
Best organization EVER!

Nearly 4 years ago, my husband had heard Keith present information on TFD at a briefing. He was interested in helping but had a deployment to address first. He'd intended to help in any way he could once he returned. Fate had different plans and half way through that deployment, he was blown up by an IED in Afghanistan. Neither of us expected to get involved with TFD on the receiving end, but we did.
Keith was there in person at Walter Reed shortly after Scott arrived and helped with an immediate need of getting our son a laptop so he could continue with his school work online. Since, our family has been a guest with the Dagger Dive in Key West and Scott has joined their 3-Gun team.
TFD and everyone involved with this organization are incredible people and go way beyond the call of duty to help our special operators and their families. This is an amazing organization and we can not say enough good things about them!!
Being allowed to be a part of this organization and help the military personnel has been a tremendous reward to me.
TFD is a great foundation who actually cares about people and provide a real tangible benefit to our war fighters. TFD is the best in the business in my opinion
As a Veteran TF Dagger gets it. The last thing a service member wants to do when he gets home is leave the family again. We get all kinds of offers to do cool stuff. TF Dagger invites the whole family to do the cool stuff. It’s an amazing organization that is run by folks who have been there done that, and understand what is needed when a person returns from war. It is by far in my opinion the best organization serving our military community today.

I'm a nearly 65 year old retired, 100% disabled Army Special Forces soldier. I recently had the opportunity to go on an underwater archeology trip with TF Dagger supporting DOD POW/MIA Accounting Agency attempting to potentially find, recover, and identify remains of missing WW2 pilots in Saipan. I was a recipient of TF Dagger's program for disabled SOF.
TF Dagger was (and is) partnered with Eastern Carolina University and other academic partners in these endeavors.
What a fulfilling "mission". I have SCUBA Dove most of my adult life, including being a SF Combat Diver for basically 14 years. However, my skills and comfort underwater had atrophied a bit because of my almost two decades of defense contracting kept me travelling a LOT. Retiring, on the other hand, gave me plenty of time that I needed to find projects and goals to feel useful.
It's great to find a "hobby" that re-integrates past skills, has an actual beheficial purpose for the families of MIA members of the Greatest Generation, incorporates both cerebral and physical activities to help keep one "young", camaraderie with fellow SOF veterans as well as young and established academics in the blending of two divergent groups working, and getting to know each other in common support of such a worthwhile purpose.
The therapy provided by being actively engaged in underwater activities was awesome. I hadn't really admitted that I had slipped rather far into malaise / mild depression. The limited physical activity I was doing wasn't enough to keep my well worn and abused musculoskeletal system toned and flexible. I had gained weight and my cardiovascular system was pretty unchallenged.
Getting active in water again helped me so much. Just physically doing something active and fulfilling was a series of psychological jumpers. The almost passive exercise swimming for hours ( about an hour several times during the day), buoyed up by the water increased my strength, tone, cardiovascular capability whole reducing my pain level substantially. Yes, the days were long and tiring. Yes, I went to bed early and slept well.
The actual learning and conducting of underwater archaeology skills was just as rewarding as the physical parts. Working with these academic professionals, and really getting to know them was fantastic. Hand filtering the sands we bought up from the selected grid sites was a continuing education.
What a great idea to tie US Government, 501(c) charity, academic and archaeological experts, maritime masters and volunteers into rewarding and successful projects and therapies. The fact that TFD does this with some of the most severely disabled is amazing. We dove with double amputees, paraplegic, people with spinal injuries that could barely walk, and of course, those with internal scars and injuries. We all care back with personal gains, but we may well have gained even more as a team of teams united into a single team.
A very professional organization that is truly mission oriented. It's great knowing that donations go straight to making an impact.
Task Force Dagger provides exceptional services to the wounded, ill, or injured members of the U.S. Special Operations Command and their families in a myriad of ways.
An example: Once a year, Task Force Dagger hosts Dagger Dive, hands-on training in SCUBA Diving by fully-certified SCUBA diver volunteers. During Dagger Dive, volunteers include babysitters for the younger children so the parents can enjoy a care-free experience.
The dedication of these volunteers is remarkable; they work tirelessly to make this week-long event accessible and memorable, and they pay their own transportation costs to the diving destinations, giving their time tirelessly to improve the quality of life for these veterans and their families.
I have seen this volunteer group make enormous life changes in the lives of our most at risk military personnel.
Task Force Dagger is not only an excellent scuba experience but also had a life changing impact for our family. Our experience with TFD helped us learned a lot about ourselves and each other, while also giving us tools to become a stronger family unit. We also met so many people (now friends) who are or have faced a lot of the obstacles we had experienced. I highly recommend this experience for all SOF families!
There isn’t another organization that understands the needs of the service members and their families like TFD does. They genuinely care and want to make a difference. Every board member, staff member and volunteer has a servants heart and it reflects through each service they provide. My family is forever grateful for Task Force Dagger.
We were blessed by Task Force Dagger when my husband was injured in 2010 with immediate needs assistance and an invitation to the inaugural trip to Key West for the Dagger Dive. The call to action to come together as a team to learn to dive as a family was an amazing experience.
We so strongly believe I’m the commitment to not only the special operator but also to the family and have been involved since as volunteers.
Help this great organization to continue to give back to so many that have served.
Task Force Dagger is an incredibly organized event which allows for wounded special operations service members to quickly and easily become certified in scuba diving. It affords these heroic individuals the once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in an adventure which their whole family can join them on, creating memories for life. It is without a doubt one of, if not the absolute, best nonprofit organization of any kind.
I am a chaplain who has worked with several families who have benefited from the benevolent work TFDSOF. I have seen families who have been helped through some very difficult times with financial assistance. I have also seen other families who benefitted from the dive program. These are families who have literally sacrificed life and limb for our country. TFDSOF recognizes that it is the whole family who sacrifices and they take care of the whole family.
I am a disabled special operations veteran and was lost without a purpose prior to being a participant in the Task Force Dagger initiatives. I was able to find a new found sense of purpose in life and emotionally reconnect with my family. This only happened due to the continuous efforts of the wonderful staff in Task Force Dagger. They care deeply about the service member and the family like no other organization I have ever seen. I served 27 years and can say that Task Force Dagger is the absolute top benevolent organization because they show genuine care for our SOF community and their families. They saved my life, helped me get the treatment I needed and gave me a reason to get out of bed every morning. I am forever grateful!
Task Force Dagger provided my family the experience of a lifetime.
In the summer of 2022 we were given an all-expense paid vacation to attend “Dagger Dive” in Key West.
SCUBA diving the beautiful reefs with my wife and experiencing the island with other military families was such a memorable experience.
My children were always entertained and cared for by a wonderful group of volunteers. There were new experiences every day!
We love TF Dagger and can’t wait to give back to the organization!
Quality caring foundation that I’m proud to serve. The family bonding that takes place during these events is truly life changing. I’m very proud year after year to help facilitate those bonds. And it doesn’t end with our events services and friendships carry on. This foundation is priceless!! - proud and honored volunteer
Dagger goes above and beyond to support SOF members and their families. It is an incredible organization that is truly there to help those in need.
Greetings, Some organizations help people and some like TFD make life transitions. This organization has made such an impact to our family in support, help and rehabilitation that I cannot express in words. They provided me with an opportunity to do things with my family that I have not been able to accomplish after sustaining my injuries. I fully support what this organization does, its beliefs, values and how we are a family! I will continue to support Veterans and the efforts of Task Force Dagger and staff. Thank you for all you do and always know you have an ally in Florida.
Task Force Dagger serves Americans who have sacrificed so much for our country in their most desperate times of need. The assistance they provide to the men and women of the Special Operations community is truly special for a few reasons. The first is that they help not only the men and women who have served, but they also help their families and recognize that wounded, ill, and injured people heal faster and better with their families around them and supporting them. Secondly, TFD serves a community of people who are not used to asking for help. They do this by anticipating needs and providing for them. The staff understands the community they serve because they are a part of it. TFD turns into family very quickly. My family is very fortunate to be a part of theirs.
Finally, TFD spends money wisely, which I value in a nonprofit organization. As much as possible goes directly to assisting those they serve with very minimal overhead costs. This is done purposefully, not only because of the integrity of those in charge, but also because they believe so strongly in their mission to help others.
The joy and healing I’ve seen from TFD has been life changing. TFD is one of the best!
I have been a volunteer with this group on their recreational therapy events in Key West. It is a fantastic event that gives families the time and space to reconnect after the injury of a service member. It's amazing to see the healing in the families. I think the work this organization does is incredibly important!
How cool to see Special Operators & their families, after years of significant sacrifice & scars, experience renewal, refreshment, & refocus in life!
Task Force Dagger is an outstanding non-profit that provides 89 cents of every dollar to the wounded special operations soldiers and families it has dedicated itself to support. My entire family volunteers for this organization because their mission is well defined and they work tirelessly to support that mission, supporting wounded special operations soldiers and their families.
This organization is a diamond in the rough. They have service, ethics, and compassion in their hearts. TFD is dedicated to ensuring that service members have the health and quality of life we all desire. They provide much needed aid to service members on a daily basis and provide rehabilitative and therapeutic events annually. There are not many organizations these days who ensure donations go to those in need.
I have been volunteering with Task Force Dagger Foundation for almost 7 years. During this time I have had the honor of working with our service members and their families and had the joy of working with an incredible organization and volunteer team on their Dagger Dive Rehabilitative Therapy Event. This event is only a small piece of what Task Force Dagger does. Task Force Dagger provides assistance to wounded, ill, or injured US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) members and their families in three core areas: immediate needs, rehabilitative therapy events and health care initiatives which provide functional medical solutions to the root cause of the illnesses and invisible wounds of the Service Members and their families. This is a foundation made up almost entirely of volunteers led by a husband and wife team who have made the Mission, Focus and Purpose of the foundation their lives providing healing to the service members, their families and those that volunteer with them.
Task Force Dagger always goes above and beyond, even of their own mission. This group truly cares and touches the lives of those who have given us all so much. This country's special operators and their families. Simply being able to serve as a volunteer for a short week is one of the proudest times I have had.
I have the greatest respect and admiration for Josh Collins, and his sidekick, George Hand. Because of them, I sleep peacefully. I am so eternally grateful for men and women like them. God Is!!! Rita sends...
Have a neighbor who has been helped tremendously by TFD. He lost both legs in Afghanistan as a Green Beret. He's showing his appreciation by becoming an amazing crossfit type adaptive trainer to others. Amazing personality and a great neighbor. Thanks Task Force Dagger for being there for out guys.
As someone who works with Special Operations Forces (SOF) and their families in a healthcare capacity, it is refreshing to see such dedication to an all -encompassing, purpose driven program focused on treatment as well as healing and recovery. I know where my money goes and how it's used---and everyone loves my TFD t shirts. Happy to support a great cause!

Keith and Keline are the kindest people I have ever met. Their compassion and care for others is unmatched. Their SOF Health Initiative Program and their unwavering support have saved my husband’s life. I will forever be grateful for TFD.
We recently went on a trip with TFD and my husband and I cannot say enough kind words about Keline and the organization. Their passion for those serving and who have served in the military and their families is evident through their generosity and gracious compassion. Our family immediately felt surrounded by genuine and sincere love. We are incredibly thankful for TFD and all they do!
TFD has been there for our family every time we have contacted them , especially with family support.

To this day they keep in touch and following her . Thank you is not enough to these men I knew some from my SF career and some were strangers. Good to know you haven't been for gotten when you medically retire and someone has your back.

Task Force Dagger has been a blessing for me. Not only are they funding for medical treatments that would not be done by the VA or DOD. But also putting like minded veterans together to help with the rough times. Allowing us to talk with those who are going through the same problems. I can't thank them enough. Keep up the great work.
When you need help TF Dagger is the number 1 benevolent organization I think or to call. They do NOT let you down...period.
Task Force Dagger Foundation is like family to us. They are one of the top leading nonprofits in our community that gives back to the Special Forces families in a time of need. We highly recommend them for your in-kind donations because they truly put the funds to good use.
I have had the honor of working with Task Force Dagger Foundation. Words can never describe the wonderful leaders of this group. Keith David and his wife Keline serve a life's purpose by helping Special Forces families in a time of need. Blessed to have them in our lives.
Task Force Dagger is an outstanding organization that provided support to my family in our saddest hour. I am so very grateful for the shoulder Task Force Dagger provided for me to lean on. What a Noble, Honorable organization looking out for soldiers and their families in their time of need. With a humble heart I thank you.
The Task Force Dagger Foundation is an outstanding organization that greatly helps Special Operations Warriors and their families with their noble mission and unique programs.
The Managing Director, Keith David, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces "Green Beret" Officer, and their entire team of distinguished Board of Directors and Advisors are extraordinary and heroic leaders with the highest integrity, honor and professionalism. I am honored to know and work with Keith David and the Task Force Dagger Foundation team.
TF Dagger continues to be one of the top non profits to work with. My SF organization has used them recently on numerous ocassions and their service and efficiency was one that is second to none. Families of our lost ones are taken care of to the highest standards.

My wife and I just returned from the 2017 Winter Warrior retreat in Whitefish, Montana. We can’t express enough our gratitude to SFA Chapter 28 and TFD for this once in a lifetime trip. Everything about the retreat from the skiing, dogsledding, snowmobiling the amazing dinners and the meeting new friends was amazing! The last 15 years and countless deployments has not been easy on the families and it was such a refreshing trip to spend with my wife before I head out again this month. Thank you again for your unwavering service to the Special Forces Regiment and our families! De Oppresso Liber
I just returned back from a TFD event in the Grand Cayman. All I can say is WOW!!! I had the time of my life. I got to see old friends and make new ones. TFD continues to go above and beyond to help injured SOF personnel. The event not only takes you away from the everyday struggles of injuries, but they allow you to feel apart of something more. You move at your own pace and you push yourself to your own limits. There is no Dr. asking you a ton of questions, just you and your brothers making it happen. Everyone suffers and struggles in their own ways. When you are surrounded by your brothers on your left/right; for that moment no matter how long it is you feel safe. You know that your brother has your back and you have his. Everyone has a list of injuries from PTSD, TBI, gunshot wound, amputation, etc but when we are all together we are NORMAL... We are one team striving for the same goal. We talk, we laugh, we cry. We salute our brothers/sisters that have made the ultimate sacrifice and we continue to strive to get better. We share stories that only "WE" would understand. We make jokes about each other that make you laugh out loud in the middle of a crowd. "SCUBA STEVE is dressed already"..."Did he get bit by a SHARK.... Can you please stop doing Cheetah flips Air hog"......."Here goes Muscles"......LOL!!! These moments can't be made with a pill, a shot or surgery. Memories like these do provide HOPE. It's moments like this that keeps us from the evils that we think about each and every day. TFD continues to make these memories for many of our injured SOF operators and I am honored to be apart of such a humbling organization. Thank you TFD.......

Just returned from an event Task Force Dagger (TFD) and SOCOM coordinated. I did not ask to go, if you had asked me how I was doing I would of told you I was just fine. However, I wasn't fine and I didn't know it. My caregiver knew I wasn't well, she had noticed I hadn't left the house in about 4-5 months. I was exhausting her, this wonderful lady is always worried and caring to a point of fatigue. She needed a rest, I needed to get out. She knew TFD could help and the people would keep an eye on me. As I said she worries to the point of fatigue. The event was a dive trip to get your next level of diving certification. We had a group of guys that made me feel as if I was with family. You could challenge yourself and know those around you were looking out for you. Not only did I get out of the house I was thriving in a way I hadn't experienced in a long time. I have a new skill and confidence that I hope will continue to get me out of the house and my spouse some rest.
Love, Support, Friendship, Caring, Encouragement, Challenging, these are a few words we would use to describe TFD. They are leading the way in how to assist wounded veterans and their families, to include recreational care, emotional care, and cutting edge therapies to better the lives of injured veterans. We would like to thank Keith and Keline for taking the time to invest in our family.
Mentally, Physically, Emotionally, and Spiritually, you have motivated so many, to do so much, with so little. Your organization is a reminder of the good in people.
Thank you.

When my unit refused to give my wife command sponsorship I was forced to purchase my wife's plane ticket out of pocket, this put a financial strain on my family. Task Force Dagger came in and covered the cost of the ticket. Thank you for your support TFD.
Task Force Dagger helped to provide my family with a ray of sunshine in the dark months dealing with a terminal illness. Their kind words and support still bring comfort to this day.
I am so grateful to have been assisted and cared for without any hesitation when I felt all was lost. Thankfully the TFD Foundation is an organization that is dedicated to help those in times of need for families in their dark hours. I can not say or thank them enough for what they have done for my family. The contacts and people involved with this Organization are among those who hearts seem to have no boundaries for the care to do whatever they can, if they can. Thank you Task Force Dagger.
I'm not an SF guy but I have received outstanding support from Task Force Dagger. They have been most generous in supporting myself and my good friend Chuck Taylor (7 SFG). TFD provided transportation on a few occasions to support our excursions out west to participate in outdoor programs.

As a 100% disabled veteran we all begin the new year striving for new goals, new dreams, and a better quality of life. We do the best we can one step at a time, one day at a time.
With a new year comes a new set of challenges, struggles, and daily battles for ourselves, and our brother's on and off the battlefield.
Those of us who have experienced the unconditional love, genuine caring, and generosity of Task Force Dagger Foundation in order to make it through the harshest storms know what its like to feel alone and think there is nobody out there willing to help.
Each one us has a unique testimony that, when heard, reaches and helps countless of soldiers and families in need.
As the days of this new year go by, I encourage everyone reading this to help support, in any way, the Task Force Dagger Foundation. This foundation is truly a blessing and has been established for a great purpose.
My deepest gratitude and most sincere thanks to TFD. May this new year bless you with increased generosity, support, and growth.
Continue to be the bright beacon of light for all those in need and are struggling in the dark.

I am an active duty Special Operations soldier with over 19 years of service and countless deployments. Throughout my service I faced many challenges and struggles on the battlefield. Today, I face struggles on a different battlefield, my day-to-day life. What was once second nature has been lost. My struggles now begin with the simple task of getting out of bed, a task impacted by the physical and emotional constraints which have resulted from the compounding medical conditions I now face as a result of my service.
I have been diagnosed with Central Nervous System Hyperactivity/Sensitivity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Severe Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain Disorder, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Polyneuropathy multiplex, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Severe Hypersomnolence and Insomnia, Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, HHV-6 and the list goes on.
Due to the complexity of my case, most of my health care needs are unique and are rarely covered by insurance. Recently, I needed some specialty therapy equipment and within 24 hours of sending my request to the Care Coalition, Task Force Dagger was there to cover the cost of the items I needed.
TFD is truly committed to helping service members and have proven to me that they stand by their words “dedicated to providing immediate assistance to Wounded, Ill, injured” and “assists the service member's recovery from wounds or injuries sustained in the line of duty”
As we give thanks on the Veterans Day to all those who have served, I give special thanks for the support and generosity of Task Force Dagger helping all those who have served and are in need.
I would like to thank Task Force Dagger and all of those who support this Non profit for their tireless efforts in assisting the needs of our SOF members and families. TFD was instrumental and essential in ensuring that the family of MSG Childress were able to attend his funeral at Arlington National Cemetery this past October 2015. Through their tremendous efforts they ensured that his family could travel and had closure as well as ensuring that a member of our SOF community was honored appropriately. TFD dagger provided lodging and transportation for the family and for Eric's transportation to Arlington. They also paid over $5,000 dollars in expenses. I want to personally thank the foundation for their timely and immediate response to the family.

This organization bent over backward to make things happen and find the money to support the family of my friend, Eric Childress, a Green Beret. There were many complex situations and nuance problems, and Keith David helped overcome all the barriers. I am very grateful for all their patience and assistance.
My husband was burnt on 20 percent of his body and was sent to UNC hospital for his care .with our house and everything being a total lost task force dagger stepped in and completely took care of our stay and gas for the entire time I didn't have to worry about anything besides my family getting better.Task force dagger along with care coalition made it possible to not worry about anything we could not have survived this ordeal without them
I have just recently started volunteering for this foundation as a friend of mine introduced me to Keith and Keleen. I am the spoke of a combat wounded soldier from 3 Rd special forces group. I have had experiences with many foundations but have never seen the dedication to family inclusion and working towards healing the family and not just the soldier. I think they are fantastic and hope they let me stick around for a very long time!
After multiple times over the past few years of seeing how TFD stepped up in assisting critical times in the lives of our military families, I knew I had to be a part of this organization. TFD is truly centered on providing benevolent assistance to programs that enact a positive change in the lives of those who maintain our freedom.
Task Force Dagger Foundation is positively impacting not only special operation soldiers but their families too. They focus on treating the entire family and serve with passion and purpose. A wonderful nonprofit with even more wonderful leadership.
The Task Force Dagger Foundation best exemplifies a nonprofit that truly serves others. The level of care and support they give to our nation's heroes and their families is bar none. I'm honored to be associated with such a wonderful organization.
The Task Force Dagger Foundation has been there for me when I needed it most and then some for over two years now. Their first impression was such a lasting one that I now volunteer for them and give back whenever I can.
TFD was there when I and my family needed them most. It may be rote to say, but how else to say it when so down and out, and it seems so hopeless. i was hospitalized for 3 months during possibly my darkest hour, and didn't know how my wife and kids would be cared for. TFD was there, and we never missed a beat! Forever in their service and debt.
Task Force Dagger Foundation has given 1.3 million dollars back into the SOF community and did it all with less than a 6% overhead. No other organization offers the level of continual care and dedication to the SOF community as this foundation does.
TFD ..I can't say enough how wonderful this organization is. My daughter would not be a collage student if it were not for thier ever helping hand. I have never her the words we can't help from the other end of an email or phone call. The day will come where we can give back and help others in need through this band of brothers who continue to support each other when no one else will. Thank You for everything past and future
I just wanted to share the story of my Luke and how Task Force Dagger brought us to MRT treatment and changed our lives.
Last year Task Force Dagger helped Luke to get his autism service dog Lincoln. She is a great help and makes him so happy. I posted short video of him playing with her and squealing with joy on Facebook. Shortly after I was contacted by Task Force Dagger Foundation and they told us about MRT and they thought it might be beneficial for Luke, as they were already sending veterans with brain injuries.
After a ton of research I allowed myself to become excited, and we started to plan. When we first arrived at BTC in Newport Beach I was really impressed with the center and the compassion for the kids from the staff. Luke's EEG was no easy task, and they were so patient. His treatments were painless, and he really enjoyed them. Task Force Dagger was by our sides checking in and making sure we we had everything we needed during our entire journey.
Prior to our arrival Luke had some words, but he only spoke when prompted by tapping his chin. He never had an original sentence, thought, or expressed language. He would verbally stimm constantly and his play consisted of sensory seeking and stimming activities only. We were never able to go grocery shopping, or just walk through target or the mall. The lights, smells, sounds and people completely overwhelmed him. He would constantly melt down and bolting was becoming a MAJOR issue. He would run with no regard for safety right toward the street or nearest exit. He would also become so frustrated that he would hurt himself and hit me. Usually if he had a meltdown in the morning it would last the entire day. He was completely unable to transition from one activity or scenario to another without becoming extremely upset.
During our trial period I did not observe much of a difference. When his EEG review came back they said he was showing improvement so we decided to continue. On our second or third week there I was talking to Luke, as I always do, and not expecting a response and I said; "Lukey why didn't you want to go to the beach today with Mommy?" and he replied, clear as day, he made eye contact with me and said "Because I was busy momma." "say it again," I said in disbelief, and he did over and over. I cried and jumped around. My baby had spoken to me, with his own words, a real appropriate thought like it was second nature. He spoke. I felt like the world lifted right off both of our shoulders.
From there Luke snowballed and he picked up expressive language rapidly. By the end of the second month he all of a sudden had motor skills. He could swing a bat, tried to ride a scooter, and he could actually do his own buckles on his carseat. He continues to excel and succeed. I see more and more of him emerging from the autism fog daily.
He no longer bolts, he rarely stimms, and he talks. His speech is not at the level of his peers, but he is very close, and its there. He tells me when he has an ouch or what he is thinking or wants. It has been a miracle for our family.
Task Force Dagger has not only changed our lives for the better but they have, with out a doubt, given our son the opportunity to truly live his best life possible.

In 2014 our son was diagnosed with SPD (sensory processing disorder.) He also began showing various traits of autism. Through various weekly therapies we found out quickly that one major calming things for him was a dog that one of his therapist brought to work. We knew right away a service dog was what he needed to help him cope with his symptoms.
We began the journey and soon found out it was going to be a very expensive endeavor. My husband is a Green Beret and through the Care Coalition we met up with many organizations that were amazing and wanted to help our son get the dog he really needs. The Task Force dagger Foundation was the very first to stand up and give a very generous donation the ensured Luke receive his dog.
We can not express enough the love and thanks we have for this organization. What they do for the Special Operations community is admirable and remarkable.
I have the privilege of helping with this amazing foundation every summer. The love and passion Task Force Dagger Foundation has for our Special Forces Soldiers and their families is quite amazing and I have the honor to experience and to serve those that have sacrificially given so much to our Country♡
They have been amazing to my family and myself. The people that run this foundation are selfless people.
I am currently an instructor at SWTG serving my time before I head back to 1st Group. For a while my 4 year old daughter had not been on the charts for growth and was suffering from headaches, fatigue, and various other symptoms. While we thought that it was a hormone deficiency problem only, we pushed to have our daughter be approved for growth hormones through Tricare. Tricare disapproved of our request (Thank God), until we had conducted an MRI and blood work. On the 9th of April, 2015 I got a call while I was teaching some Q-Course students. My wife told me that our daughters MRI result came back and that she had a brain tumor and that it had been the cause of her stunted growth. We immediately met with the neurosurgeon the next day and pushed for surgery that following Tuesday. All this occurred very rapidly not allowing ample time to plan properly or coordinate for everything we would need. What followed the surgery was an intense amount of time in the ICU and hospital. This is where Task Force Dagger Foundation came in. They were on the phone with me (Peter Habitat) and were not only asking about my financial situation, but were also inquiring about our living conditions and our means of paying for gas and food. They immediately sent out gas cards, meal cards, and told me to just find a hotel and that they would cover the cost. They indeed paid for everything. We could not have been more blessed by such a supporting foundation. These individuals should get more praise for what they do and will be recommending their service and support to anyone I know that has to go through a family crisis. Thank you so much Task Force Dagger. You are truly a God send.

I want to give a huge thank to the Task Force Dagger Foundation for helping us so much when our 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor. My husband and I are a part of the SOF community. We found out our daughter had a brain tumor and then had surgery to remove it a few days after finding out. We live a good distance from the Childrens hospital and they provided assistance to drive back and forth while we were/are here. We are beyond grateful for the assistance. This is a great organization and not only us, but our families will spread the word on donating to helping other families in need. Thanks for all you do!!!!!!!!!
As another veteran supporting nonprofit, we have had the honor to support and see the significant impact TFD has on special operators and their families. This top notch group is an example to follow. Low overhead and thoughtfully managed. We have called on them for help and they were there with a smile. We recommend and highly encourage to donate to this team!

As a Volunteer for TFD, I've seen the Warrior Spirit come back to our wounded Brother's who have suffered some horrific injuries. I help out with the 3-Gun Matches. The surprising or unexpected benefit of having our wounded Special Ops Warriors compete in 3-Gun Matches is the connection with the other competitors and the people in the gallery. They get a chance to see the cost of Freedom, and the character of the wounded Warriors competing along side of them. When your in the Army Special Ops community, you are apart of something bigger than one's self. TFD 3-Gun matches made available to our wounded Warrior Brothers and Sisters, once again gives them the chance to contributing to a mission bigger then their selves'. I'm proud also to be part of an organization that puts the majority of all money collected back into helping out our Wounded Warrior's and their families.

Just recently my husband and I found out that he had a brain mass, the Army transferred him to Walter Reed in Maryland, where he would undergo surgery to remove the mass. We really did not have the funds for me to go up to Maryland with him but I went anyway. We were already behind in bills due to another family situation and with me being out of work would not help. Well come to find out, my husband has a grade IV GBM. The Task Force Dagger Foundation, supported us by sending us a check to help get caught up on some bills. I honestly do not know what we would have done with out their help.
The Task Force Dagger Foundation is a great and awesome foundation, the care and compassion we've received from everyone is nothing short then amazing.
I am responsible for all Wounded Ill and injured Soldiers throughout the SE. I have been dealing with TFD for some time. Time and again they have come through for our Special Ops Soldiers and their families.
Just recently they supported all of our Wounded Soldiers by flying them and their families to Key West Florida to attend the DAgger Dive. This is a certification for scuba event to some but to our Wounded Soldiers it is a MAJOR morale boos, confirmation that they can still do more than just lay in a hospital bed.
One of our Soldiers was debating pulling out but the managing director called me directly to see how he could assist. Mr. Keith assisted in having the Soldier's order's ammended so he could attend the dive and it gave the Soldier more time to get his affairs in order.
During the dive, Mr. Keith caught wind that one of our severely injured Soldiers wanted to marry his Fiance. He took it upon him self to make this happen. The Severely injured Soldier got his wish and married his fiance with his brothers that he incurred hi injury with and consequently spent the last 7months with in the hospital recoverying. This is the level of commitment that Task Force Dagger has for our Wounded Ill and Injured Soldiers. I could never thank them enough.
Respectfully,
Special Ops Advocate

I am a Team Sergeant with 7th SFG(A) and was recently deployed to Honduras, halfway through the deployment I suffered a heart attack and had to be transported back to the U.S. to the University of Miami Hospital for treatment. My parents and my fiancé immediately flew down to be with me during my treatment and recovery. My parents are not very well off and the cost of the plane tickets as well as hotel room / rental car put them in a financial strain. Upon returning back to 7th SFG(A) I was contacted by the USSOCOM Care Coalition Advocate and was presented with a very generous donation from the Task Force Dagger Foundation. I was shocked to have received this, I was also very grateful because with that donation I was able to help my parents cover the cost of the plane tickets, hotel and rental car. This is a great organization providing a great service to those in need and definitely deserves to be supported by all. Thank you!
TFD quickly stepped up to help when we began seeking funding for our son's service dog. We were referred to them through the CARE coalition, so we knew it would be a reputable NPO to work with. And they were! Within a week the training organization we went through had received a sizable payment toward the (enormous) cost of a Diabetic Alert Dog from TFD. We're so grateful and hope to be able to help TFD do more good work in the future. Great organization!
Task Force Dagger time and again has come through for our USASOC soldiers and their families. Whether it be a young family whose quarters burned down, a family with an ill child or a Gold Star family in need TFD has been there.
TFD is dedicated and is known for ease of use with little or no red tape. I served 30 years in Army SOF and am thankful that there is such a great organization out there to help when it is needed.
I have personally seen the positive effects on our Special Operations Warriors and their families through this foundation and its efforts. Their dedication to all our Special Operations Soldiers has been extraordinary. They fully understand the impacts that our Soldiers and their families go through no matter how serious the injuries are and look to ease those transitions, separations and medical treatments so they can focus on recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration. Task Force Dagger truly represents excellence in nonprofit organizations and their efforts in caring and supporting our Wounded, Ill and Injured. They should be considered by everyone during the CFC season for donations.
I am a Special Forces veteran who has been injured. However, It's not what they did for me it's what they did for my son that was amazing. My son is on the autism spectrum and Task Force Dagger played a major role in helping him get a service dog. Studies have shown that service dogs can dramatically change the lives of those on the spectrum and help them cope with their day to day lives. I cannot thank them enough for what they did for him.
Transitioning out of the military is a devastating feeling, compound that with a life changing injury and it's disaster. The only hope I had in such a dark moment in my life was Task Force Dagger. They really brought light to a terrible time in my life. I am now recovering well from a spinal injury due to a Airborne operation and I look back on the last year and find that in time of need there are few people who really are there to support you. This organization was one of my biggest fans. I can never repay them enough because the feeling of having someone to lean on in time of need is priceless. If you need someone in your corner, I know that Task Force Dagger will be there in all types of ways.
I am a Veteran who recently retired medically from the 7th Special Forces Group due to wounds sustained while in support of OEF. We face daily challenges and obstacles hard to overcome, but some of these become easier when you can count with organizations dedicated to help wounded warriors like Task Force Dagger Foundation. I thank Task Force Dagger Foundation for the support given to me and many warriors. God bless.
I am a Special Forces combat veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom ('03 Afghanistan) who suffers from PTSD, among other physical injuries. Based on various empirically based articles from military and civilian sources on the successful treatment of PTSD for veterans, and inspired by the Green Berets internationally 6th-ranked Ultimate Fighting Champion--SSG Timothy Kennedy, I trained in mixed martial arts/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with significantly positive results.
Unfortunately, and through the process, I recently fractured my cervical spine and severely ruptured 2 discs that required major surgical repair, recovery, and post-operative treatment. As a result, I have not be able to work for 3 months, and as an independent contractor that means no pay.
I was referred to the Task Force Dagger Foundation (TFDF) by and to supplement a financial contribution from the Green Beret Foundation (GBF) to help me through the recovery, healing, and treatment period during which I cannot work. In only one day, the TFDF reviewed, considered, and decided on my case; and made a financial contribution that, along with the GBF's contribution, will help me focus on getting better versus worrying about how to support family and myself.
It's unfortunate that our government and the military cannot always be there for USASOC service persons, vets, and their families the way that we were there for our country. Until that day may come, we at least have our own to cover each other's "6's" during hard times on or off the battle field. De Oppresso Liber!
As a transitioning service member there are more than a few obstacles to overcome. Organizations like Task Force Dagger play a vital role in supporting service members who have been injured. Without the support of Task Force Dagger many service members would not be able to complete certain tasks that are necessary to transition out of the military. Task Force Dagger has made a difficult process that much easier. Thank you for your support. I cannot begin to describe how much your service to veterans means.
I want to say thank you to Task Force Dagger for your kind heart. My husband was recently injured in Afghanistan and has multiple severe injuries and spends most of his day in a recliner when we are at home. Being relocated from our home, we were in need of a better and more comfortable recliner. Task Force Dagger offered to help, and we couldn't feel more appreciative and thankful for that. My husband can now feel comfort in his new recliner when he isn't feeling as good as he would like. Thank you Task Force Dagger for going above and beyond to help us out. We thank you so very much! : )
I want to personally thank the Task Force Dagger Foundation for their generosity. My husband and I are a part of the SOF community. A few months ago, I was traveling to the Midwest, went in emergency pre-term labor, having our little guy 4 months early, while my husband was deployed. It’s been a long road the past few months and stressful on so many different levels. I wanted to personally thank you for helping me with my travels to/from NC/MN. You have no idea how grateful we are for your gift. In the future, we look forward to giving back and helping other families in need.
I have had the previlege of working with the Task Force Dagger Foundation as a volunteer for a year now. It is an all volunteer organization which provides immediate support for urgently identified needs of wounded, ill and injured soldiers and their families. It also supports immediate needs of Gold Star families (families who have lost their soldier). In addition to helping service families with immediate needs, Task Force Dagger provides Recreational Therapy events for the entire family, this includes both wounded and gold star families.
I worked on the 2012 Dagger Dive Recreational Therapy event. They won my heart and respect and I have continued to support them and am back for the 2013 Dagger Dive. Last year was an amazing experience working with such a deserving community and with an incredible volunteer team. The foundation puts heart and soul into providing a quality experience for the participants and really works hard to make every dollar go to the mission.
I provided Medical Coverage for Dagger Dive 2012, and was very impressed with the efforts to conserve resources in order to take care of the most troops with the funds available. The TFD team worked tirelessly to secure donations in Key West to keep out of pocket expenses to a minimum. it was great to see so many people working to help our wounded veterans and active duty soldiers.
I know first hand that Task Force Dagger is changing the lives of the many wounded soldiers they help, because I was lucky enough to be part of the scuba diving trip in Dallas. It was my first time being involved in a wounded warrior trip of any kind and they certainly set the bar high. They took care of every detail and made sure we had the equipment and teaching we needed.
Task Force Dagger is a proactive organization completely focused on providing real support and life-changing experiences for our wounded veterans and families. The positive, can-do mindset of this organization is second to none, and should be emulated by others. The Dagger Dive events conducted by the Task Force make a huge difference, as evidenced by the confidence and smiles I've seen on the faces of the wounded veterans and their family members. v/r Jim Cornelius
Task Force Dagger is one of the best orgnizations that we have had help us since my husbands injury! My husband was a special operator and injured in a combat related accident January 2010 and is now c4 quadriplegic. TFD approached us and invited us to go on a Dive Trip to Key West for wounded warriors and Gold Star families. At first, I did not want to bother with it! The thought of them getting my husband in the water diving as a quadriplegic; as well as just making a trip seemed overwhelming as his caregiver! When it came time to go, they MADE IT HAPPEN! They had everything organized prior to the trip - flights, hotels, medical lifts and supplies, meals, accessible rental vans, meals, PADI certification for our caregiver and I, you name it! They made everything as easy on our family as possible, and made my husbands dream come true of diving again! Everything worked out beautifully and he went down to 90ft!!! They also made it possible for my 7 year old son to experience it as well, seeing his dad and mom dive together! It was an experience that would never have happened in my eyes, and they made it possible!! We met some wonderful people within the organization as well as other wounded warriors, their families, and Gold Star families. Wonderful organization and wonderful people helping others!!! Thank you Task Force Dagger!!!!
TF Dagger is a wonderful organization. All involved have only one objective: to help wounded warriors and their families. My wife and I volunteer for TFD. My experience has been the most rewarding of my life. The chance to help warriors directly and the opportunity to work with members of the Dallas and Key West communities who give so much of their time and money just so they can help out is a privilege. This org is very well run, no money wasted.
