Programs: Vocational rehabilitation employment (vre) program assists adults with disabilities who are seeking employment to retain meaningful, integrated and competitive employment in the community. We believe that employment is an important aspect of a successful life and everyone should strive towards a career that matches their skills, job readiness and, most importantly, their preference. We placed 300 adults into permanent employment in 2017.

the veterans assistance center (vac) of tampa crossroads has assessed and provided critical services to over 2000 homeless veterans and their families over the past 5-years. Over 400 veterans were assisted to permanent housing during 2017. The supportive services program is designed to promote housing stability to low-income veteran families and to prevent at-risk veterans from becoming homeless. We provide case management, housing, employment, and short-term direct financial assistance for rent, utilities, security deposits, moving costs, emergency supplies, child care and transportation.

rose manor is the only licensed and accredited treatment provider exclusively for women in hillsborough county. Rose manor offers holistic behavioral health services to women for over 25 years and has been home to over 2,000 women who have found inner peace and a healthy family life balance. Rose manor is a classic therapeutic community serving 80-women annually, and as such, many of the activities and dynamics of the program are driven by those residing here. The program assists all residents to counseling, permanent employment, safe housing, and reunification with family members.

tcr outpatient counseling program provides the best possible treatment at an affordable cost to over 500 adults annually. Our services are substance abuse/mental health assessments and treatment, anger management counseling, drug and alcohol screening services, smart recovery groups, dui treatment, specialized court diversion programs, and individual behavioral health counseling. We are a medicare provider for behavioral health. Athena house is a 16-bed transitional housing program for female veterans who become homeless after honorable discharge from their military service. This program is the only housing program within the state of florida specifically designed to address the unique needs of homeless female veterans. The athena participants enjoy safe housing while they search for permanent housing and income resources. During their residency, these female veterans will work with a case manager to locate permanent housing and benefits including employment. We provide services to 60 female veterans annually.
