Target demographics: rebuilding our community by providing much needed resources and reestablishing relationships with our local law enforcement.
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 400 people as the organization went to door to door ensuring our community was registered to vote as well as providing nonperishable items to storm victims.
Geographic areas served: the greater Tallladega, Alabama area.
Programs: afterschool tutoring and reading awareness to our youth as well as providing them with a safe a secure place to go in the afternoons that does not cost the parent anything nor do they have to worry about transportation to and from. UOH provides monetary donations and nonperishable items to families in and around the Talladega community who have succumb to this pandemic via unemployment or losing their loved ones. Umbrella of Hope provides support to our community.
