Mission: As stewards, taliesin preservation, inc. 's dual mission is to preserve the cultural, built and natural environments that comprise the taliesin property and to conduct public educational and cultural programming that provides a greater understanding of frank lloyd wright's architecture and ideas.
Programs: Visitation program:this program responds to a growing public demand for a first-hand educational experience at the properties. Based on this concept, the organic architecture must be experienced to be understood. Several comprehensive tours of the site are currently offered as well as programming to integrate the preservation focus on architecture, nature and culture. Enhanced public access opportunities allow visitors to experience the taliesin legacy of architecture and design, education, agriculture and the arts. To balance the visitor experience, a bookstore, cafe and exhibits on frank lloyd wright's life, work, and concepts are also offered.
preservation program:this program involves all aspects of the cataloging, researching, and conditional analysis of the properties. Based on this research, renovation plans are implemented to physically preserve this historic site. A program of aggressive, comprehensive site management includes ongoing maintenance, security, and interpretation to assure the integrity of the site for future generations.
