Causes: Breast Cancer, Breast Cancer Research
Mission: Ta-ta trot inc's mission is to help raise funds for the promotion of breast health and survivorship programs provided by other 501(c)(3) organizations in pennsylvania especially the susquehanna valley area. Programs include mammography screenings, medical and non-medical financial assistance, breast cancer survivorship oriented lectures and other educational activities for breast cancer patients.
Programs: The ta-ta trot is the largest 5k run/walk event in the susquehanna valley with over 1,600 participants. Donations and special event income netted 31,924 for the benefit of local breast health organizations. Those organizations benefited in 2017 were evangelical community hospital's thyra m. Humphreys center for breast health, geisinger health sysytem's marie lamey fund, and the pa breast cancer coalition. Disbursements in the amount of 25,064 were disbursed subsequent to year end.
