Mission: The mission of sncc is to work with area residents to provide services and programs that address the changing needs and interests of the city's north/northeast neighborhoods.
Programs: Basic needs program and food pantry - offers families and individuals experiencing hunger, current or imminent homelessness, or other crises access to food, personal items, clothing, direct financial assistance, and referrals. The food pantry is open five days a week and provides enough emergency food for three days/nine meals for each individual in the household.

senior support (including transportation to locations critical to participants' community engagement, and well-being, such as medical appointments and shopping)
youth development - provides dynamic, out-of-school opportunities for children and young adolescents, designed to provide a consistent, safe, and stimulating environment. Health education and access (including facilitated enrollment to help adults and children lacking health insurance to enroll in public health insurance programs, lead education to provide information about the dangers of lead and offer remediation referrals, and a community health advocate to provide education and guidance about available healthcare coverage options)community connections (including offering space to other nonprofits and agencies that serve our community members). Homeless prevention program - provides financial assistance, in the form of first month's rent, to transition individuals/families leaving homeless shelters into independent and affordable housing. The assistance also prevents people from going into a shelter when facing imminent homelessness and one-on-one budgeting and credit repair sessions.
