Mission: Provide legal defense services to indigent criminal defendants facing murder prosecution at the state trial level in both south carolina and louisiana. The organization shall accept determinations of indigency made by judges presiding over individual cases or shall assess indigency of specific defendants via consultation with the south carolina commission of indigent defense or the louisiana public defender board.
