My story changed when I worked with SustainME, a new perspective, a new mind I got from working with the women and families at the grassroot. It was awesome learning about the daily lives of the women and their way of life and the small businesses they undertake everyday. As an intern, I focused on providing skills to support the women's small businesses.
I am extremely happy that I contributed to empowering he vulnerable women and their families in Uganda.
Working with this organization was exciting and a long time experience. SustainME offered me an amazing time to experience hands on impact and change with the vulnerable women and their families. I loved the sustainable approach that the organization uses to empower the women in the community from business skills to small startup loans. I dont think i would have had a life changing mind without taking a journey to the organization.

Sustain Micro Enterprise is a nonprofit organization empowering vulnerable women and families in Uganda, Africa to fight poverty. It is exciting to see the impact that the organization is making in uplifting women out of poverty through enabling them to create small businesses so that they are able to provide for their children with food, school fees, shelter and other basic needs.
I worked alongside this organization and the impact realized through giving small startup loans, business skills, goats, mentorship and other empowerment programs is amazing. I continue to pray for the women on the program to thrive.
