Mission: Care For the homeless fights homelessness by providing high-quality and client-centered health care, human services, and shelter to homeless individuals and families and by advocating for policies that ameliorate, prevent and end homelessness. Susan's Place is dedicated to serving medically frail and mentally ill homeless women, providing them with shelter and a wide array of support services with the goal of restoring them to health and placing them in appropriate housing.
Results: Annually, 300-400 homeless women are provided with an array of support and services to guide them toward independence and appropriate housing. Each year, 60 - 75 women move into stable housing. Susan's Place is consistently given a perfect score on an annual review of the facility, it's operations, cleanliness and safety.
