Mission: The greatest hope of any parent is for a perfectly, healthy child. All of us can imagine the pain and fear that a parent feels when a child is born less than healthy , or when a disease or accident causes deformities. It only requires a bit more imagination to conceive of how the parents feel when a surgical procedure exists that could save their child, but that procedure is unavailable to them because the leading pediatric surgeons in their countries lack the expertise to perform this procedure. Children - Surgical Aid International formerly known as Surgical Aid to Children of the World (SACOW) responds to these requests for advanced medical training from Pediatric Surgeons in the developing nations of the world.
