Children of school age are learning each day, trying to manage with a diagnosis of a seizure disorder can be devastating for the child and the family. Trying to educate peers and teachers is a daunting task, finding support groups and understanding can be, at times, impossible. Super Kids Mission Zero works with schools, families and kids to break the barriers. They educate teachers and peers to help everyone gain an understanding, this helps the child blossom and grow, by taking away the stigma of being different. They supply games to aid in memory, which seizures can affect. Give families a number to call for support. Wonderful organization!!!!

I have been learning right along with everyone the importance of this group. Children need support when they are going through something "different" than everyone else. Seizures can be life changing for the child experiencing them, their families dealing with the disease and others all around them. We will help educate and support kids and their families so they can live strong healthy uplifting lives!
Great organization ran by passionate people who are committed to sharing their message through education and awareness.
My experience with Super Kids: Mission Zero has been a wonderful one. I look forward to seeing the good works that they continue to do for the children of greater Indianapolis. We need more avenues for adults to support the children who need it the most. We also need more opportunities for children to be able to do the same. Kudos to Super Kids!
I have witnessed the effects of epilepsy inside and outside of the classroom. As an educator, I believe it is important that parents have resources to assist their children in the home. Super Kids: Mission Zero does a wonderful job assisting parents, students, and teachers.
I first came into contact with Super Kids: Mission Zero, Inc. this past year. Working with the founder, Jessica Rohn, at Lambda Chi Alpha on a daily basis has really opened my eyes to the effects epilepsy can have on a family. Jessica handles herself every day with such grace and kindness, even when dealing with most bleak of situations, and I can see how this transfers to her organization.
It is so vital for not only parents to understand the effects of epilepsy, but also the community as well. Super Kids Mission Zero, Inc. always provides useful resources and tips and tricks that can be used by anyone looking to learn more about the condition and how they can help. I think it is extremely honorable that the organization will not stop looking for ways to help children who live with epilepsy every day.
This November, I am running in the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, and I will be running for Super Kids. It is my pleasure to help spread the word about this organization and hope that many others will find the use and necessity of this organization!
The Founders of Super Kids are doing great work in their community bringing awareness to the struggles that children with epilepsy deal with. My brother has dealt with epilepsy for the past 20 years. His was brought on by a brain hemorrhage and a stroke. Back then both children and adults did not understand the daily struggles we went through as a family, supporting someone with his condition. Today, great organizations like Super Kids are making it easier for children with epilepsy to be understood and supported.
This nonprofit was started by a very compassionate and capable mother of a child suffering from epilepsy. We have found that there aren't many local resources for parents who find themselves in this difficult and frightening situation. Super Kids:Mission Zero is dedicated to helping others discover ways to receive assistance and support through difficult times. 100% of donations go directly to the cause!
The founders of Super Kids are very passionate about making the community aware of children with epilepsy. Their passion alone is to be commended. Please support them!
Super Kids is doing a great job of assisting children with epilepsy learn to manage the effects of the neurological disorder. They do this with the help of educational tools and resources.
Super Kids is doing a great job right here in Indy. Sometimes you can feel removed from a situation and all it takes it meeting one person with a passion. I've learned more about epilepsy than I ever knew before and did not realize how many people are effected by it. Keep up the good work Super Kids!
Epilepsy is a disorder that most people have heard of but yet do not fully understand. We have all heard about the big, obvious seizures, but not many people know about the little ones that happen constantly. For children and parents alike, this is scary. Super Kids:Mission Zero helps make this a little less scary by sharing resources and information, as well as support. By donating to this organization, I can feel good knowing that my money is going where it says it is going. There is a Super Mom behind it that will do anything to help children in any way that she can, including starting a non-profit to provide more resources that she didn't have at the beginning of her young son's journey with epilepsy.
