I've never had much experience with horses. I've rescued dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, etc but it never occurred to me I could be effective with horses but sunrise equine rescue gladly accepted my help and have been teaching me what I need to do to be a proactive force in the lives of these beautiful, amazing creatures. My heart has been lost to several horses and I look forward to everyday I get to go help care for my new friends. I've cleaned, groomed, fed, walked, ridden and assisted the farrier. It's a wonderful magical place.
