Mission: Success Suits You was founded in 1999, based on the high unemployment rate in Santa Cruz County. Women entering the workforce are caught in a "catch 22". These women need a job, but can't afford the clothing to even attend an interview. That is where we come in. Success Suits You provides each client with an interview appropriate outfit once she has an interview scheduled, and another outfit when she gets the job.
During the outfitting process, each client is pampered, bolstering her fragile self-esteem. This enables her to succeed and take the first step toward changing the rest of her life. Our clients are referred to us by other community organizations and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
