Students of Service is a strong and vital organization that serves the youth of our community. It builds leadership qualities in young people, allows them opportunities to learn about not only our local community but the world through volunteer work and travel abroad. I have seen firsthand lives changed through this organization.
I found SOS in 6th grade (now a senior) and I truly believe it is one of the most amazing organizations there is. I had the privilege of serving with the SOS community and having a fantastic time doing it, whether it was picking up trash, volunteering at events, or doing what I can for the better of my community. Then after all the work was done, not only do you already feel rewarded with the good you've done with the community, but then they provide you with opportunities to explore and learn about the world! I was able to go on the trip to Germany in 2019 and had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. SOS's mission is a beautiful and commending one, and I'll remember being a part of the organization for the rest of my life.
SOS is a unique organization that brings students together to learn about their local community as well as the world around them. It provides opportunities to get involved in hands on volunteer opportunities. As a parent and as a volunteer I have enjoyed the students grown and learn from the various opportunities.
Students of Service (SoS) and the Spanish National Honor society from Clark H.S. collaborate in helping students gear up for life. Our primary goal is to motivate and engage high school students do good for others and the community because volunteering provides them a sense of accomplishment and life satisfaction.
