Causes: International, International Peace & Security
Mission: To provide high school students from across the united states access to dynamic education to build college readiness, deepen understanding of global issues, and unleash the potential and creativity of youth.
Programs: To accomplish its mission, the organization, in partnership with non-profit organizations in countries throughout the world, sends highly motivated lower-income students on month-long thematic international projects to various countries including albania, chile, china, croatia, france, greece, italy, japan, mexico, morocco, montenegro, slovenia, spain and uruguay. These projects explore themes such as anthropology, art history, community development, culinary arts, dance, food science, music, and urban studies.
