Mission: Student achievement & advocacy services' mission is to inspire and facilitate promising and high potential students (primarily high school age) to expand their horizons and fulfil their potential by introducing them to subjects: decision making, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership, and poetry. This occurs through programs that are developed both internally and externally as we leverage opportunity by collaborating with other outstanding organization to accomplish our mission. Summer 2017 workshops on financial literacy and decision making were provided for more than 800 students on two college campuses and 22 teens received scholarships to attend.
Programs: Development of educational, mentoring, prize, and scholarship programs for school age children (k-12),young women and scholars of all ages. To provide grants to scholars for research that inspires students to learn.
the camp/conference adventures of the mind is a weeklong mentoring summit to inspire the smartest teens regardless of grades, test scores, and economic backgrounds to expand their horizons and fulfill their potential. Students meet their intellectual peers from across the nation, receive mentoring from the accomplished adults that compose the faculty of mentors, and learn life skills such as critical thinking, decision making, financial literacy, career paths, through faculty led workshops. They are also introduced to the top cultural and scientific institutions in the immediate area of the camp. 22 students attended the 2017 program along with volunteers and mentors.
