So I owe what I have right now to Street dogs 9 months ago I was on the streets slamming heroin and had to take care of my beautiful baby girl Coco. I had gotten fed up one day of living on the streets and reached out for help StreetDogz specifically Sharon had the most Kindest Heart and basically help me get where I'm at today I got my own apartment with my wife again me and Cocos are indoors I got a job and I owe it all to street dogs
My binki and i are homeless and they helped me get her to vet when she was sick. They got ys seen by vet and her help and shes now healing! Thank you so much
If it wasn't for Street Dogz I don't know how I would have survived and made it as far as I have out here on the streets of Las Vegas with my Fur babies. My name is LadyAnne and I have been homeless for 10yrs now. Since the beginning of this unexpected adventure in my life I have had 4 fur babies as my companions/sidekicks/my kid's and my heart. I still have 2. Sir Ace and meow meows. The first time I met the crew at street dogz was about 9yrs ago and I had my boy Chance who I had since he was 3 weeks old when I still had a house. He passed away at 13yrs old of cancer unfortunately. I also had meow meows with me at the time who was still considered a kitten but tomcat who Chance and I kinda adopted when he tried to jump on chances cart when we were leaving a camp site where he was abandoned. He didn't want to be left behind so he hitched a ride with chance and the rest is history lolol. We were living along the creekside off of Cameron Street and I guess street dogz had seen us on one of the corners once flying a sign for any kind of help and they followed us back to where we stayed. The next day someone from street dogz came by our spot and hollered for us and when we came out they had all these nice supplies and gifts for us. I wanted to cry because no one has ever helped us or even showed they really cared about our well being and then out of nowhere these strangers show up where we stayed all because of when they saw us out trying to get help and then took it upon themselves to follow us to see where we actually lived and really need help and not just out there trying to hustle people with My dog and then go back to an actual home, but a actual makeshift hut I built us along the top of the creek bed.. So they went back to their clubhouse and gathered up supplies for my dog and a few personal items for me and brought it out to me the next morning. It was truly a blessing. Since that day a few years later when I found out chance had cancer and I had to put him down. They knew it broke my heart and could see that I was starting to get depressed and giving up doing anything. They got a hold of me and told me that they had a dog that needed me bad and that I needed to move on and try and share my love with another who needed it now because they had this dog that was at a shelter and he was scheduled to be put down in 2 days because he had been to the shelter so many times and they didn't know what to do with him and he was a sweet dog who was homeless also. So they said they could rescue him that day if I would take him into my life and love him. I didn't know it at that moment but later on I realized I needed him as much as he needed me. And what was even more amazing is that ironically this exact dog that I named Big Blue was the same dog that I had seen on one of street dogz rescue pages and had sent a request for more information on him because I was interested in him. Now if that wasn't a sign from God about something that was supposed to happen, I don't know what is. True story. Street Dogz became a permanent part of my life and all my fur babies. A year later when I had to pick up everything we owned and move again to present location. Blue was becoming closer to the man named Ed who let us stay at his auto body shop so we had a safe place to stay. We had been here a little over a year and I had Came across this beautiful big pup who someone had tied to the railroad tracks to actually be hit by a train. So ofcourse because of my love for animals I took him back to my spot. Unfortunately because of his lack of training and attention he didn't play well with others so I had to make a decision. Ed at the time had just put his 2 dogs down and was bonding with Blue and blue deserve to have a good life which I knew he would with Ed. Ed needed him now and this big pup needed me he trusted no one but me. So I let Ed have Blue which made them both happy . And so began my adventure with Sir Ace as this guy became known with me. Right away I got a hold of street dogz and they helped me get him all his shots and nurtured and microchip. And again got me stocked up on all the supplies he needed and meow meows ( yes we still have meows ). Wait I'm getting ahead of the story this you guys need to hear. When I still had Blue and it was close to Xmas. I would and still try to help other homeless people around me and their pets. But this moment in my life I wanted to do something special for those around me that they hadn't experienced in a long time and that was to try and get a bunch of donations of clothes and bedding and food and just little personal stuff that they wouldn't get on their own and pass it out to all of them for Xmas. I wanted them to experience at least one day in their life out on the streets that made them feel special and loved if only for that day. So I began my search for donations and I got a hold of street dogz and told them what I was planning on doing and what I needed to make it happen and by the grace of God street dogz had just been blessed with so many donations that they were overwhelmed at their clubhouse and told me I could come there and pick out whatever I needed. Honestly I'm tearing up thinking about this right now. They had one of their Crew members pick me up at my spot and take me there. This Man was Bob and he drove this big dually truck. I'll never forget him such a sweet guy, everytime he brought me supplies for my fur babies he always brought me fresh homemade cookies he baked.☺️. So when we get to the clubhouse Blue went in and started going through things like he was king trying to find as many balls to play with ( he has a serious ball fetish lol ) and I was looking at all these piles of donations not knowing where to begin. Needless to say story forward I tell you honestly that by the time Bob took us back to drop us off they had loaded his truck up with so many things for me to give out that Ace and I were literally sitting on top of stuff in the truck cabin on the way home that is how packed his truck was. I tell you I will forever be in debt and grateful to street dogz for going above and beyond to always be there for me and help me with no matter what I needed out here. They are truly amazing. I can say so many positive things they have done for me and others but then this would become a sitcom lol. So let me end this with one more truly amazing thing street dogz did for me and Ace. 2 Xmas in a row they put me and Ace into a motel for about 6-7 days for Xmas as well as other people with their fur babies. But what makes this truly special was the first time they put Ace and I in the motel for Xmas. It was my first Xmas with Ace and it was Ace first Xmas and time in a room with a big bed and chair and window and door and just inside. And on top of street dogz putting everyone up in the motel thanks to their wonderful sponsors, they had Xmas gifts for all the furbabies on Xmas day from Santa waiting for them by the front door and a nice Xmas dinner for us. And what makes this the most memorable and amazing day of our life besides street dogz love to us all. Was when I opened the door to get the stuff and Ace was standing next to me and when he saw everything he grabbed everything really fast and pulled it all inside the room as fast as he could before anyone else could get it. And when I closed the door he was going through everything tail going a hundred miles a minute. So I helped him open everything on the bed and their was the cutest Santa sweater I put on him and then he Saw The toys and it was on. He grabbed one of those big stuff squeaky babies and just started running around the room like his butt was on fire jumping on and off the bed. He was so excited and you could really see how happy he was that day when he got all those gifts and they were all just for him. I cried as I recorded him. Because that was the happiest day of both of our lives. And for the first time in this poor puppy that I had rescued off the railroad tracks to be killed and street dogz taking us once again under their wings, this puppy for the first time ever finally got to feel what it felt like to be happy and to be truly loved . Thank you street dogz really for everything you have done for me and my furbabies and for everything you continue to do for us and everyone else out there with their furbaby. We love you guys ❣️.
….plus six more stars ! I met this group at a homeless outreach event
I had told the volunteer about my dog Kira, and I took away some food and a really nice stuffed bunny! That was four years ago I think. Since then they have become mentors, friends, and councilors
These are volunteers who are so smart and even tempered and they help me, as a client navigate some scary times with my pit bull. I’ve ridden along to see them work, and wow. The love. The fearless love the volunteers show for their fellow man and furry friends is so amazing to see. You can follow along on some of the adventures via social media. The difference street dogz makes and the service to the community is like none I’ve ever seen. Thank you street dogz
Kira now has pet insurance and we have found a place to live. She’s my best friend.
Janice and street dogz of las vegas are truly my angels! If not for them i dont know how WE would survive out here in the streets. Frim food and suplies to vet care and beyond. Thank you for all that you do!

Street Dogz made it possible to really take care of my dog Ruka who passed away May 2024. Ruka had a few lumps on her body.Street dogs paid for the biopsy of lumps. I thank Street Dogs for always helping from treats ,toys, a dog stroller, blankets ,food and they always delivered to me. Or gave me a bus pass to distribution sites.
Now they have blessed me with kindest sweetest most adorable dog that I named Maggie or Mags for short.
Janice always goes the extra mile and she really cares about people in need and our precious fur babies.
I thank all of the Street Dogz staff.

Do you ever get what I call the existential blues, the sadness that convinces you that there is no good in the world? Next time you are haunted by these blues takes a look at the “clubhouse” of street dogz. Clubhouse is a misnomer for the word calls up images of wealth and privilege. What this clubhouse of Street Dogz is bespeaks the kindness of the human heart. A few women fill ziplocks with dog food and gather sneakers for homeless dogs walking on the brutally hot Las Vegas streets. When clients come by you will find them being helped by one of the Street Dogz workers, fitting the dog with sneakers or testing a treat or two on the dog before them. One trip to that misnomer clubhouse will surely cure you of pessimism about there being no goodness left in the human heart. I promise.
Helped me and my Pup, Sam off the Streets and have supported us Fully with our needs on our way to better lifestyles and opportunities, that have given me a chance to be a Father and a Happy Msn
The Ladies at street dogz are awesome, they go above and beyond to helping people and there pets, thank you for all your help.
Omg! What can I say? Cheryl and Maris you will forever be in my heart. Words don't do justice for what you have done for me and my baby boy. The incredible things they do make my faith in humanity just that much stronger. Please donate to Street Dogz if it's something you can do! These women are angels!
So 48hrs ago @ 1:05am my family watched our dog Yougi ( German Shepherd ) pass away.
Being a first for me to deal with the situation of properly dispose of my beloved pet it was very stressful for me me mentally because until I got a hold of Street Dogz, nobody would pick up that should of picked up the call especially when nothing was open or available for the hours I had to wait .
But then when I thought I was going to be in more of a pickle, Street Dogz pulled threw.
And what they did was spot on as everything they said was going to happen did happen and when they said it would be smooth, it was smooth.
Overall as a mentally disabled veteran who needs to always avoid stress, I can say this and that they know what they are doing especially when we are dealing with a communication issues they don't have that problem.
If anything I recommend them hardcore as the first option and not any other option. When they say they care well they care.
Hey my name is Andy Hassan I would like the whole world to know how stray dogs and their organization and the wonderful people involved have helped me change my life and save the life of my dog Cleo she was here by a car I had no one to turn to and they came in and saved her life and helped me in a time that I thought was not nobody would even care about us but they did I can't say enough about the wonderful these people are and what a great thing they're doing it's tough to be on the street and be alone I know that nobody cares take care and there's not nothing they wouldn't do to help any anyone out there having a hard time I have nothing but love and respect for all of these wonderful people and I thank God that they were there to help me get off the street and save the life of my animal amen
My dog got a new jacket this week because he gets so cold he doesn't have very much fur and I needed dog food as well these people have helped me out a lot and I really do appreciate it!!! They also helped me out with my dog's medication these people are such an asset to our community!!!! I'm not sure what I would have done this month without them!!! Thank you Street dogs!
I am deeply appreciative and grateful for what StreetDogz has done, not just for my little family & I, but also for everything they do consistently on a day to day basis. From events each month like the care fair & giving project amongst others... to driving out to people living on the streets with their pets across Vegas, making sure they have what they need for the fur babies wellbeing.. I have personally gotten to experience volunteering at the care fair & giving project for StreetDogz, I can say it's a lot and they consistently do this along with everything else, sometimes with very little help. Oh! and at the Carefair they not only distribute donations but also give the animals baths, haircuts, and nail trims! No matter if it's 120 degrees in the summer or in the winter chill, they're out there helping so many people who really care about their pets. They also are highly supportive of those who are serious about bettering their lives and want to get off the streets w/ their pets. In a time that I couldn't see anything and I felt we were alone in complete darkness, they reminded me that there were still compassionate and kind people. I am beyond words for how thankful I am for M. from FirstMed introducing us to StreetDogz. They've helped get our two doggies safe and in a place so we could have a restart, in which we are now self sufficient. You guys deserve so many blessings and love. Thank you!
I became a street dog's client many years ago quite a few years ago with myself which my name is Suzanne and my dog Johnny when we became homeless out on the streets before anything else before we were anywhere else we were on the streets and they came to us right away and they've been helping me ever since if it wasn't for the street dogs first made would have never seen or heard anything about us who are the ones that got us off the streets and I'm forever grateful and thankful to Street dogs and the first med for everything that they do and everything that they've done if you ever need and you even get friendship from this this non-profit they treat you just like your family and your animals they are definitely pet friendly and that's what they live for they go above and beyond for us and our furry babies thank you so much Street dogs we love you guys!!!
Street Dogz
Helped me get my dog neutered & vaccinated or I would risk losing him and my temp housing. I am ever so grateful for their help. Please donate in anyway you can to them.
My dog Aina & I Thank you so so much& many many blessings to everyone at Street Dogz!!!
A friend wanted to get me a male kitten and I told her to please refrain, that I could not afford to feed it. Then she told me about Street Dogz, a nonprofit organization that gives out food and accessories to pets whose owners cannot afford to care for them. What a great concept! Keeping families together. No more heartbreaking moments of owners “surrendering” their beloved pet because they can no longer afford them.
When I go to Street Dogz I see that one of the staff members has made a beautiful few bags of food , toys and litter, he’s getting more than he would if I could afford to pay for his food. A tiny staff member Carrie’s these heavy bags to my car. Does she really weigh more than my cat? It is clear from the first glance that this is a well-managed organization with love and dedication fueling their efforts.
I'd like to think that I know a thing or two about nonprofits because there was a time in my life (probably not so long ago) when I had the privilege of sitting on different boards of almost a dozen nonprofits here in Las Vegas. I regularly donated my time, my management/marketing skills, and my creative insights. A computer geek, I also developed/designed many, many nonprofit newsletters over the decades.
As such, I got to see, first-hand, the individual operations of each nonprofit. And I can write--without reservation--that Street Dogz stands head and shoulders above them all. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Yes, Las Vegas is known as the sports-and-entertainment capital of the world. It's glitzy, it's iconic, it's celebrated--one long traffic-congested boulevard from North to South. Yet steps away from The Las Vegas Strip, there is a war zone of great suffering, tragedy, helplessness and homelessness.
And that's what makes Street Dogz such a powerful nonprofit: Cheryl and her team of volunteers are absolutely remarkable. Rain or shine, in the blistering heat or during monsoonal storms, they assist those who desperately need assistance. The truth is, if it were not for Cheryl and Janice, my own Service Dog would not be alive today. They helped to feed him when I absolutely could not.
Life has its ups and downs. You can be riding high in April and shot down in May. For me, it was my strong inner strength that I survived blunt force trauma to the head, torso, and extremities. I escaped the extreme horrors of domestic violence. I am indebted to Street Dogz forever.
I urge everyone to donate what they can to this extraordinary organization. And please remember Street Dogz in your will.
For me, they were a Godsend. Not only did they supply the food so I could feed my Guide Dog, but in doing so, they saved me.
Thank you for your help they gave Lassie a place to rest while she was hurt. And they help us with everything they needed
I love street dogs. I would recommend them definitely. I was so worried about my dog Blue. He needed his rabies shots. I had no means of being able to take care of this. I new how important this was. They not only recommend a place to go but helped me with getting all his shots taken care of. Now he needs surgery to have him neutered. His surgery cost more then a regular neuter because one testicle dropped and the other didn't. It's in his stomach. I had to have it removed because it would be cancerous. This surgery is very expensive. Street dogs stepped in and helped me find a place for low income families. They also are going to help me part of the way so I can get the medical treatment my precious family member Blue needs. His appt is in 3 weeks. I'm really scared for him but I know he will be just fine. Thanks for the help of street dogs. They went way out and beyond. I wouldn't of been able to do this without their help. Thank You so much street dogs. I will definitely recommend you to anyone who needs help for their family pet members
It was the worst possible thing to happen that I honestly never in a million years thought it would happen then May 18 2023 it happened My baby my love of my life got shot and from oh yeah and my boyfriend was shot also ,in less than 20 min my life is forever changed.the 18 on it was horrible nobody willing to help every single place I called for help either didn't answer or backed out at the last minute(Animal Foundation) and even the lady at the city office was not cooperating ,number one Felon a lab he is so sweet and just last year his primary owner died and all I could think everyday was he thinks I abandoned him .BUT IN ALL THE STRESS AND DISAPOINTMENT I FOUND the Angels I was so desperately needing Street Dogz ,got a place for them both to heal it was such a blessing to be able to stay together while they both healed.Felon lost his leg but he gets along just like he always had 3 legs and I really can't express how much street dogz has done for us hopefully my housing will line up and he a perfect ending wish us luck
I'm an adult on the autism spectrum. I thought i was safe in my apartment with my Dog. The building was sold. I was out...and then...a medical emergemcy sent my beloved fur partner to the local shelter when i was taken to hospital. What a mess! I had met the volunteers of Street Dogs at a few community events. The table is always there with the street dogs banner, and dog and cat food bags arranged artfully.
When i was put out, and my Kira got separated from me, i was a beyond upset.
Its the guidence and patience of street dogz that saved my life. When i called for help, street dogz responded with a hotel room for kira and I, transportation from the animal shelter, food , some new leashes and a muzzle. I was taught about the oath to "muzzle up" , and its made all the difference! I had no idea!
I had to find housing. Street dogz taught me how to turn a "no" into a "yes" with a new landlord. I dont qualify for EBT, so street dogz made sure kira and i had groceries and dog food. Also we did a funny crate switch a roo, as Kira tried several different kinds...all brought by street dogz volunteers!
After a long search, I found a new place. Street dogz volunteers helped kira and i move.
I think i started out well, becauase Kira was already spayed and had her vaccines. I went to an event reciently, and street dogz was doing nail clippings and vet exams. The line curved around the block. All those clients wait for HOURS for this service. Without it, im afraid to think how many dogs would go without care.
The most important gift for me was the care and Advocacy. I struggle with verbal comminicatiion. I struggle with self care, and i have a cognative deficit. Kira is a hard worker. She monitors my blood sugar, wakes me up, puts me to bed and licks all the tears away during unavoidable meltdowns. The system is against dog owners, especially pit bulls. Street Dogz smooths that out, connecting dog owners to programmes to help us. Street dogz is responsible for hundreds of dogs that stay OUT of the shelters, thanks to mobile units that go to.where homeless people are. The events are the best, because street dogz is consistant. One can always find them! Theres also a clubhouse for resources. I dont know who built the model for this organization. I have no idea about the funding. I"m still in awe they saved our lives.
They were my advocates, my heros, and my angels. Street dogz sees us. Loves us. Supports us. Kira and i dont feel alone anymore. We dont get separated, and we did find housing. It was the worst months of my life, living in a motel. The vounteers at street dogz taught me to treat it as a workspace and to work everyday to find housing. I am a success story. I found a place. I continue to support street dogz any way i can. I hope it grows. For those of us who have issues, street dogz is the beacon of light and hope in this city. I pray everyday for the safety of the crew and for the donations to continue thier work. I believe the city of las vegas owes a huge thank you to street dogs for going OUT into the streets to solve problems. One bag of dog food at a time.
***oh yeah. And street catz , too!

StreetDogzLV 07/03/2023
It is our privilege to help you and Kira. You are a success and we're so happy to be beside you!
My Bella was attacked by someone and had her head slashed open. Street Dogz took care of her with no hesitation. They paid her vet bill and then on top of that got us a hotel room for 2 weeks so Bella can recover comfortably. We are homeless so this was a blessing. Please donate in any way you can to this organization. They are life savers.
Miguel they took care of my lady while I was in the hospital and when I got out they got us a room for a week then two weeks after that my car broke down and they paid for the repair and they got us a room for two weeks God bless street dogz they were Angels heaven sent
Streetdogz put my dogs and I up in a hotel for 2 months so I could keep the dogs cool from this crazy heat and complete gaming school. Now I have a good job and I feel closer to ever to being back on my feet. This is an amazing nonprofit I would recommend 100%!! They have amazing staff and Cheryl is magic. These people save people so help them out help others!!!!
I found out about Street Dogz from my wife. I have seen their work make a difference. I am proud to say that we have donated to Street Dogz and their mission.
So my name is Bobby my boy's name is Coco she's a chocolate red and the love of my life I became homeless 3 years ago roughly got her about a year and a half ago fell in love at first sight but when I started struggling not with drugs but in life in general I called Street dogs and from day one they have been nothing but respectful and helpful and all the above I just want to get a huge shout out to Sharon especially thank you thank you thank you so much from koko and I you guys are the best keep doing what you're doing because there's a lot of us out here who could use your help
On 5/16 my dogs got out at 9:30pm . I searched for hours looking for them .I finally got a call from a wonderful young man that worked at Green Valley grocery on Creigh and Pecos. He was kind and brought them in. Sadly my Rango was hit by a car and injured his leg and had abrasions on his body. I couldn't afford vet care so I tried to help him at home. After a few days I was very worried and reached out to animal kindness and street dogz of las vegas. They were so wonderful and caring. I can not thank them enough for this blessing. They sent us home so my Rango can recover with antibiotics and pain meds. They also provided x-rays along with very kind hearts. Amazing group of people on both ends.
My KOKO BEAR, has found her path to puppy heaven. This was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. But first and foremost was my sweet girl not being in pain. Thanks to this awesome organization that listened and helped me put my baby to rest. I appreciate the help in all means from the service to the emotional. It means the world. Thank you!
I've always heard about the strength from the animal community and recently, I personally experienced the power and support first hand. My family adopted Violet 9 mths ago and she was facing eviction after a change in management. We paid the pet deposit and rent for her at our apts. from the moment we got her. The manager even had the same breed as our Violet (American bully.) Turns out the manager was breaking many rules and they threatened to have her out in 2 days but gave us 2 weeks, until rent was due. I started calling, texting, emailing and trying to find a solution. Thankfully, Violet has registered as an ESA. My father-in-law had multiple strokes and we moved him in with us 7 mths ago & Violet has been by his side and helped him/us through his recovery all these mths. We still needed to get her fixed. I found everywhere booked up mths out. I received a text message from Street Dogz offering to help us. She heard our story and reached out. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't even know Maris's name until after she helped us. She offered emotional support, an immediate Vet opening for Violet, and helped with the bill. These people didn't know me or anything about us. She helped us save our Family. We were so close to saving Violet from eviction and without Street Dogz, I wouldn't be able to say we have her safely living with her forever Family. We are so Blessed and Thankful for the kindness and generosity from the wonderful people at Street Dogz.
I noticed my cat was sick in the early hours of the morning, so I stayed up with him and went to a clinic as soon as they opened, trying to get a well visit. However, I didn't have enough money to cover the costs and felt completely defeated. I called several clinics, but I couldn't afford the cost of the visit, especially for an emergency visit. I was sitting there in tears in the parking lot of the clinic that turned me away, with my baby next to me. I felt terrible, like I couldn't help him. It was a horrible feeling. One of the clinics gave me a number to Street dogz/Street catz, which I had called and left a message. Not too long later, I was contacted by them, and I was able to get my baby seen by a clinic. I was treated with kindness and the importance of the cat's health was clear. He was able to get all the tests he needed, as well as the medication and a diagnosis, which not knowing what was wrong with him was the scariest thing. The world needs more people like the people at Street dogz/Street catz. I cannot thank them enough for their help and support during this difficult time.

A friend of mine told me about street dogs & so I gave them a call & met with them for the first time at project homeless, they're a wonderful group of people who take pride in helping people like myself who have became homeless with my 3 dogs, they bring me dog food, treats, blankets, bowls, harnesses & leashes, they also brought me a 4 man tent,& sleeping bag! But I also had to call them one day because my oldest male Snoopy 2yrs old got very sick, he was having a heat stroke & they gave me a number to call so I could get him into see a veterinarian, they saved my Snoopy's life in turn they saved mine as well, cause my dogs are not pets to me they are my kids & I would absolutely loose my mind if something happens to any of them!! Thank you street dogs for all your help & all the wonderful things that you do for us less fortunate, your hard work is greatly appreciated!!
Bottom line is I would not have the best doggie ever if it weren't for StreetDogz!!! King Major and I knew we'd be partners from the moment he came bounding into the room and I wasted no time rescuing him. But when Covid came and things went sideways, it was StreetDogz who fed and kept him healthy. I was at my wits end thinking I would lose King Major when Janice dragged (the first real food he'd had in a while) up my stairs because of my bad knees. They have been there for us ever since and I don't know what I would've done without them. Other charities may "say", but StreetDogz actually "does". Please keep them open and available to those of us who love, and depend on, our fabulous pets. Thanks again StreetDogz!!!
Street Dogz & Catz is THE go to for pet assistance in our difficult times. Their congenial and compassionate team are the very best, outreached in many areas of pet care help such as food and medical help. I don’t know any other non-profit organization with such an organized and reachable support system. Don’t hesitate to contact them if in need. Also, and this is important, this is an established “not for profit” group deserving of your DONATIONS, allowing them continuous aid to pets IN NEED, giving financially challenged pet owners some peace of mind.

Street Dogz is the most amazing organization I've had the honor of receiving help from! Dealing with Janice is always a pleasure. Not only does she always get me what I need for my cat Kiwi, (who is my everything!) but she also has the patience to always listen to me boast and brag about my cat. This organization is truly a life saver for a lot of people who can't afford to have a fur baby, but can't live without the one they have. I'm so impressed with street Dogz and highly recommend them if your in need of help with pet food, litter, treats, advice or anything else. I'd also like to encourage anyone that can afford to, please donate to this non profit. It will honestly get put to great use. Thank you street Dogz for all ur help and all you do!!!!! ~Alison and kiwi~
I've been a doner, volunteer, and a client served at different times for this amazing organization. They truly are all about the animals and are non-judgmental. Its so hard to ask for help when experiencing hardship and feeling vulnerable. It's literally life saving to have an organization that is so warm and welcoming.
I am a senior citizen with for rescues. With my husband passing I find myself financially challenged to take proper care of my fur babies. My dogs are old just like me so they have medical issues. Thank you Street dogs for covering the visit to the vet for two of my babies. You are the best. Please donate to street dogz.
My name is nichoke And back into 2015 my condo burned down and my my companion of 10 years passed away in the fire but I also had other dogs that I had to care for with nowhere to go and they went and bought me a tent shoes socks food leashes collars food beds for my my remaining dogs and they’ve just throughout the years of always been there and then couple days ago where I live now there was a feral cat and his name is Rusty and he between myself and 3 and the two neighbors on each side we took care of him and he disappeared for five days and he came back on the fifth day and his His eye was bloody and closed and his mouth was just destroyed into pieces and I took him to five different places and no one would help me so finally I called Street Dogs and within minutes they had me driving to the vet down on Eastern which was very kind and they took Rusty run in and unfortunately he was too damaged to save so they had to put him down but if it wasn’t for them I don’t know what I would’ve done because I was devastated for this beautiful cat is lovely cat that just adopted all of us and just wanted to be loved that someone could hurt him so hard so bad and they help me be able to justThey help me because it to make it where he wouldn’t suffer and I am eternally grateful if it wasn’t for this nonprofit so many of us as people struggling and so many animals there are kids that we love would be in a completely different situation these people are amazing and they deserve the world thank you so much from the bottom of my heart we love you

I've been homeless on and off for around 20 years. I've lived in Southern California and in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, and several other places across the United States of America. I have had pets when I was homeless because it's hard to feel safe when you are a woman alone out there. I am a recovering addict and I also have mental health issues that make it hard to communicate with people. The one thing that separates Street Dogz from all the other animal rescue groups is that they don't want to take your Best friend and only thing that loves you away from you! Everytime I tried to get help I got told to just get rid of the dog or cat because it would be better for both of us. It's not better it's much worse! They come to you and help you were you are.
When mama died, my sisters and I had no idea her little guy Presley was going to be such a handful. He was not neutered, thought he was a coyote, and was always running off. He wanted to hang out with the local coyote pack, and they wanted to eat him. This was a real problem as you can imagine. We are all on fixed incomes and could not afford to get him fixed, but I contacted Joyce @ Street Dogz, and she was more than eager to help us resolve this problem. With her help, Presley was neutered, and his behaviors are changing, but now he has medical issues that we couldn't afford to take him to the vet for. Once again, I contacted Street Dogz, and Joyce spent the last two days hooking me up with affordable vet care. Presley is in a lot of pain and isn't feeling too well, but thanks to Street Dogz he will see the doctor in a couple days. This organization has been nothing short of concerned, compassionate and eager to help throughout all of these problems concerning Presley. They are committed to helping dogs and their people. I could write good things about them all day long and still I would not be able to explain what a blessing Street Dogz have been to my sisters and I as well as Presley.
This organization is so dedicated to doing God's work that they drove food and treats all the way across Las Vegas to my niece who was feeding her dog rice & eggs because she lost her job. They have given my friend and I dog food, toys, shoes for my friends homeless dogs, bowls, cat food for my aunt and are assisting my friend with veterinary care for her dog. They stay in touch with you until they can make sure all your needs are met and really work so hard to offer quality assistance as much as possible. I highly recommend this organization to anyone looking for assistance or looking for a deserving non profit to donate to. Street Dogs has amazed me with their persistence, passion and amount of help they continually offer!!!
This non profit organization has been a blessing to me and my furbabies. I am so grateful to have crossed paths with them. Lord knows ever since I lost my home after ending a 19yr abusive relationship and not being able to afford on just my disability then being put out after owner sold house out from under me. Putting me and my dog with no where to go except in and out of weeklies and cheap hotels until disability check ran out and then evicted again. Ive exhausted all resources available to me and still after 6yrs on the streets on the housing help list and not able to get any real place on my own because they have all demand proof of 2-3x more than rent income even though I had proof of disability check to cover rent. And now because of being kicked out of every weekly in Vegas because couldn't afford 300 a week now my check only $790 a month. So forced to seek shelter wherever I can on the streets that will keep me and my pup safe from weather/predators and yes police unfortunately for constantly harassing and making move even in a empty lot. Just when I was giving up hope on all human kindness. I came across this group of people who actually found me and my furbabies living on top of a creek wash(will never live in the tunnels) someone if I remember right had told someone they knew about a woman living in the wash alone with just her dog and cat and how we had nothing and they would see me go out every day with my dog on a cart to fly a sign to get supplies for us. I believe it was the founder Sheryl's daughter that walked out to me hollering ahead before approaching that she was there to help me and my pets. That she heard about me and brought me supplies. I wanted to cry but held back. Because out here crying is 1 sign of weakness and people out here feed off of your weakness. If you have ever been homeless you would understand what I mean. Anyway she had dog food and cat food and toy's for them and blankets for all 3of us and food for me. This was about 5yrs ago when I met them. They have since then have continue to help me with supplies and even put us in a weekly for a week a couple of times. Getting us out of the heat for awhile. They have more than a few times covered vet bills and just recently covered getting my new puppy a stray I rescued from the railroad tracks getting him nueter and shots and micro chip as well as supplies needed to start training him and keeping him. They also helped me with my broken heart when after 11 wonderful years I had with my special heart Chance had to be put down because he had finally lost his battle with cancer. After a month of depression they asked me to help rescue a dog that was scheduled to be euthanize 3 days later. Ironically it was the exact same dog i had just inquired about on their website. So we were meant to cross paths as well. We saved each other. They brought me blue that exact night. I have since gave blue to a good friend and big hearted caring person that loves blue very much and they had a Bond much stronger than ours. I gave him up to rescue this new pup off the tracks because i saw something inside his eyes that told me he was worth saving and giving a second chance at a great life. First thing that needed to be done was have him nueter and again street street dogz came to my aid not once or ever questioning my needs. They even helped me to help give a little Xmas cheer to surrounding homeless I know. They litterely filled a dually truck with a extra cab which also was packed. Me and my dog had to sit on some of the supplies to fit in the truck own by Bob who is also a volunteer for street dogz. They gave me a ride back to my spot where Bob helped me to unload the truck load of brand new clothes for both men and women/brand new backpacks full of hygiene and snacks/brand new case of unisex socks and endless bedding and plenty of pet supplies for mine and the other homeless pets out there. It was amazing. They went above and beyond what anybody has ever done for me and especially to help the homeless out here. I will forever be grateful and in their debt for the rest of my existence. All i can offer at this time in my life situation is to keep promoting them and the amazing thing's they do for animals and the homeless as well. They have never nor do they ever have made me feel like I wasn't someone important too and that I matter in this world of ever judgemental people out there and they have treated all homeless as equal and matter as well. I constantly recommend them to those in need. Thank you sooo much Cheryl and the rest of street dogz crew for everything you have done for me and all of my furbabies over the year's I have been out here surviving. Which you guy's have been a huge part of that survival. God bless you guy's we luv ya
My family and I adopted a German Shepherd. Street dogs gave us everything we needed to give Stella a good home they provided us with beds, an extra large crate, food and water dishes, E collar and leash and harness, a huge bag of dog food, a food storage bin, dog treats, hip and joint pain support treats and more! They asked for nothing in return except for us to give Stella a good home! This charity is absolutely amazing and they are doing so much good in our community. I am so grateful for everything they’ve done and continue to do!
Great people, who cares about the pets. They help me so much, when i though i had to give up on my dogs but they help with medical and neutral for my dogs. Thank you so much street dogz

We are so happy that we could help you, and that you were able to keep you dogs!!
I was in a very bad situation and needed emergency help with my pet, I contacted street dogs after learning about them in hopes of getting help. They immediately responded and helped out with getting everything taken care of. My pet is fighting a strong MRSA infection and street dogs has helped with everything from Vet appointments, medicines, food and also help for myself and my health. One vet had told me there was no treatment and I would have to euthanize my dog but STREET DOGZ and Mrs. Cheryl didn’t give up on us!! They have given us a chance to fight this and after some months of being on treatment Romeo’s progress is incredible and I could not thank them enough for EVERYTHING! THANK YOU STREET DOGZ! And everyone on the team!
There was a cat left behind in an apartment after tennant moved. My friend called and asked if I could take it while we looked for a new owner. After a few days it was apparent I was the new owner lol. I have no income living in assisted living. I got Street Dogz number from a case mgr. They brought out everything I could possibly need for new cat. From food n bowls to litter box n toys. They even helped me get her groomed cause she was so covered in nats n fireballs. Blondie is such a happy ,loving cat and now she feels safe. If I take a nap shes right there at my feet lol. Street Dogz is an amazing group of volunteers.

Hello my name is Pammy Wilson and my husband is Wesley and our 17 year old fur baby is ChaChee.
Our baby ChaChee is 17 yrs old and takes Levetiracetam for his seizures and Liquid Gabepentin for his pain of hips, back and a growth on his side and feet. We needed to get ChaChee to a Veterinarian and get bloodwork and a check up so that we could get refills for his scripts. We were on our last months supply of his medicine and and we could not find any veterinarian that would helps us. We did not have a dime to our name. I have multiple sclerosis and an inoperable spinal aneurysm and we fell on extremely rough times. We had no way to get the medicine that our fur baby needed for his seizures and pain. We reached out to Street Dogz and they have gone above and beyond to ensure that ChaChee is well taken care of. They provide for his care when we could not. He is our biggest priority and our life. We are forever grateful for the resources that Street Dogz has provided ChaChee to get to the veterinary and get his medicine. We also are forever thankful for the love and support that you have provided us. There has been some scary days where we did not think ChaChee would live and you guys calmed me down and offered unconditional love and support to us as we dealt with his seizures. Because of Street Dogz help our boy ChaChee is getting ready to celebrate his 18th Birthday on August 29th.
How can we ever thank you for saving our boy ChaChee’s life.
We love Street Dogz and hope that you know we appreciate everyone of you!
Sincerely
Pammy, Wesley and ChaChee.
I volunteer for this organization and I love how they care so deeply for the furbabies. Everyone pulls together to help out those in need because we love what we do and we love the founder Cheryl… She is always guiding us down the right path.
These people have cared for me and my dog Prince for years now. All of them Faithfully brought us food, showed us love and found shelter for Prince so I could enter rehab and finally get off the street after 5 years of being there. There are no words to express our gratitude and appreciation for everyone there especially Cheryl and Linda you are our guardian angels! Love you so much!

The kindness and giving of time and efforts by the team is unbelievable.
Street Dogz is devoted to serving the community. As a volunteer, I have first-hand experience of them and their unwavering efforts to keep pets with their loving family. It all started with assisting with food and has grown exponentially from there. Street Dogz literally provides for it all (within its means of course): food, medical, grooming, boarding, spay/neuter, sharing resource information for both pet and human needs, and more. The kindness and giving of time and efforts by every one from the founder to each of the volunteers is inspiring. It is a honor to be a part of such an amazing team. If you need assistance, please call Street Dogz.
I do some volunteering with this non profit because they have found a part of animal rescue that is often forgotten. Street Dogz feeds hundreds of pets that are owned by homeless or lower income people who would not be able to feed them without the assistance from Street Dogz. They do everything in their power to keep that pet with its family and not to have to be re-homed or surrendered. They also assist with medical and shelting of the pets as much as donations allow. Street Dogz also extends a hand to the owners of the pets with clothing, blankets, tents, human foods and information on how they can get help from state programs. This non profit is amazing to say the least.
