SAFI is an amazing organization that I have watched grow over the past couple of years. They have fosters who help them in Jacksonville, Florida, which is my hometown and where I heard of them. They help so many innocent and ailing animals in India and provide them with a better quality of life and a chance for some to find forever homes around the world. I am a frequent donor to SAFI and have been a sponsor in the past. I can't say enough great things about their work and continued fight for all animals across India. Keep up the good work, SAFI!
The Stray Animal Foundation of India takes good cared, loved and helped the animals. They speak up for the animals that don’t have a voice to speak up for themselves.
Great NonProfits provides a circumspect service for animals and in particular for those unfortunate enough to find themselves in impoverished 3rd World nations. Spaying/neutering and proactive vaccinations for rabies and other opportunistic diseases are nipped in the bud.
The Stray Animal Foundation of India is one such example. How can you place a value in such an organization when its work is priceless? It is the animal equivalent to Doctors Without Borders!
SAFI is a wonderful nonprofit organization that helps so many dogs and other animals in need in India. Their commitment to making a difference is evident. Highly recommend.
This charity truly does sacred work in helping the stray animals of India. The founder, Ujwala Chintala, personally reached out to me (due to a previous inquiry that I made) regarding finding an adopter for a beloved foster animal and keeping this animal
in mind if I knew of any adopters. Everyone at this foundation truly cares for the animals they rescue and I am so grateful for this foundation and its amazing people and animals.
SAFI is an amazing organization. Their staff is so committed to the animals and also educating communities to help stop abuse. Having been a doggy mom of a paralyzed pup, I know what it takes to give them a good life. I applaud their growing actions on spay and neutering, so important! I am so proud to support their work. JOIN SAFI!
I’m a board member of the Stray Animal Foundation of India. Since 2020, we have initiated transformative animal welfare programs that have significantly impacted the lives of highly discriminated Indian breed dogs. Our achievements include increasing adoptions from zero to approximately 50 per year. We’ve implemented mass sterilization efforts, preventing the birth of thousands of puppies, and vaccinated thousands of dogs to curb the spread of rabies in both dogs and humans. Additionally, our cruelty prevention initiatives and humane education programs have raised awareness about animal laws, their rights, and enforcement.
