I've known Dr. Bill Barnett for many years and have watched with amazement, his level of integrity and sincere concern for those in need, for those struggling to improve their lives and in need of the tools to transition to a better place. Dr. Bill Barnett provides those tools and has positively impacted many many lives, through his patience, love and dedication. Storytellers Creative Arts is an extremely unique nonprofit- reaching to core hurts and offering a viable way to heal and to move forward.

Causes: Addictive Disorders, Arts & Culture, Education, Mental Health, Primary & Elementary Schools, Substance Abuse Prevention
Mission: Lead people to saving faith in Jesus Christ
Results: In 2022 across all programs, over 1000 clients will be served. Examples of outcomes include: Get Creative – children gained confidence in expressing emotions and feelings about the loss of connection with family through prayer, role play, music, and creative arts expression • Goal – 50% / Actual measured through student verbalization – 75% Arts for Recovery - Gained confidence and hope for their recovery journeys • Goal - 80% / Actual measured from client journals and verbal feedback – 85% Makers Community – participants gained the confidence to share their personal struggles with the community and exercise tools to overcome these struggles • Goal – 85% / Actual measured through verbal client feedback – 70%
Target demographics: Underprivilged children and youth, and adults battling mental illness and addictiomn
