At the storehouse, through client choice, hungry individuals are afforded a sense of dignity, they are more satisfied with the food and service they are provided, less unwanted food goes to waste, and there is more social and supportive interaction between clients, volunteers, and staff, fostering a customer service-based environment. The storehouse offers non-perishable food products along with items including bread, fruit and vegetables, and baby food. This food is provided at no cost and storehouse provided over 2. 9 million meals to over 53,000 people including over 15,000 children.
