Stomp The World

Years ago, this company was involved in taking high school students on college tours from the high school I worked at. Since then, I have supported them and been part of activities that they have had to help make the community alert and help them with tutoring services, holiday family adoption, and being an active part of the community for summer camps and younger children movement sessions. I was asked and honored to become a board member.

What sets Stomp the World apart is its commitment to fostering a love for learning and personal growth in students. Founder and Executive Director, Mark Cohen and Co-Founder and Assistant Director, Kevin Lee remain diligent in the pursuit of Stomp the World’s mission; to provide educational and positive life experiences outside the classroom.

By offering an after school programming and tutoring Stomp the World is working towards creating a community in its own neighborhood. Activities offered keep student participants happy and eager to learn and participate.

Stomp the World and their board plan and implement all of their fundraising events, many of which take place at Stomp the World. Students and volunteers alike are part of this caring community and often feel part of the family. One of our current board members was one of their former high school student participants! I have been a volunteer with Stomp the World since it’s inception and currently serve on the board. As a former Director of Youth Engagement for a local organization, I am always excited to create and implement after school programming with Mark and Kevin.

The vision statement of STW is to cultivate bonds that create positive leaders in their community by:

Stomp The World is all about the kids! From helping early childhood kiddos learn self regulation skills to elementary, middle and high school kids having a safe place to learn and hang out. Stomp the world does it all!

Stomp the World is a phenomenal organization! We've partnered with them on a few occasions and these guys are amazing! They deserve all the praise and support for the amazing work they're doing with STL area children.

I have attended STW events and volunteered for them. STW is a fantastic non for profit organization made up of caring personable and energetic people who are providing a vast amount of educational experiences and assistance to children and teens.

I am the director of a preschool that Stomp the World provides Music and Movement to. Every week, the kids get so excited to see Mr. Kevin. Mr. Kevin provides so much fun, entertainment and learning for our kids.

I am always looking for youth oriented organizations to volunteer. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Stomp the World! What a great organization with a solid group of volunteers and an amazing leader. This organization works hard for St. Louis children and does the hard work with very little funding. I plan to support and volunteer for Stomp the World for as long as I am able. They're providing experiences for children that will last a lifetime!

Working and serving as the director of Stomp the World gives me much pride and joy. We're a local non-profit that truly relies on the generosity of others to keep our doors open and spread our mission through out the greater St. Louis area. I am happy to say that we've impacted over 671 St. Louis are students as of today and we're growing. Our early childhood movement program is growing quickly, our tutoring remains strong, and we're building our afterschool programming and character education assemblies as we plan for the future.

As a regular volunteer for Stomp the World I can't stress how impressed I am with this organization. They are small but mighty! They struggled and made it through the pandemic when donations were down and a lack of programming meant a lack of income coming in to maintain the organization. Now they're fighting back and stomping forward! Their movement program is taken off and adding new schools weekly. This organization does great work for our St. Louis children of all ages!

I am a huge fan of this organization. I love to support the small, local non-profits that are doing what they can for the children in our community. Stomp the World is growing and spreading the love! Their movement program for early childhood children is growing by leaps, their tutoring program continues to be successful and best of all their afterschool program is really taking off and doing great things for children in underserved communities.

As a new board member I can't stress how happy I am to join this growing non-profit. The director and assistant director put so much of their time and effort into growing this organization and it's finally paying off! I hope anyone reading this would consider making a donation and helping support this ALL VOLUNTEER run organization.

As the parent of a child struggling in algebra I was grateful to find Stomp the World! I am not good at math and knew I needed to find a resource for my child to improve as well I something I could afford. Hello, Stomp the World! We're so happy to have found you and even happier you're able to help my son with his math.

My son has been struggling in school. I signed him for tutoring and his entire attitude about school has changed and his grades have improved! He loves going to Stomp the World for tutoring and is looking forward to participating in more of their programming.

Watching this organization sustain through the pandemic lets me know that this organization is meant to be around. I continuously support this organization because I believe in their mission. This is an organization that is trying to help our youth build a better future. They are trying their best to let our youth know how important their voices are. I will continuously support Stomp the World because I know they are destined to do great things.

I leave a yearly review for this organization because I follow them closely. I see where they have come from and see where they are going. This organization is AMAZING! I wish there was more like them. As a retired educator I believe the work Stomp the World does help prepare our youth for their future.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and Mark at a Princeton Heights Neighborhood meeting. Kevin arrived first and I made conversation with him. When he told me of the work they did, I was just ecstatic that there is an organization out there really trying to serve their community. Even better, OUR community. After seeing Kevin and Mark at the meeting I decided to look up their services and sign my daughter up for tutoring. Mr. Mark is so great with her and understands exactly what she needs help with. They offer more than just tutoring and I am looking forward to when my daughter gets the chance to take advantage of their future programs.

Mr. Kevin has been doing movement for a while for us and we love it! He is so much fun and energetic. The kids love him and look forward to seeing him every time he shows up.

My son has been going to Stomp the World for math help and all I can say is, WOW! His attitude about math and school in general has greatly improved. His grades have improved as well! The volunteer/qualified tutors at Stomp the World are amazing. It's a great laid back atmosphere. Everyone is at Stomp the World because that's where they want to be! Even cooler is my son was able to help create their new mural in the multi-purpose center. We love Stomp the World and the work they're doing for St. Louis area youth!

I've been a volunteer for Stomp the World for a few years now. I've helped with tutoring, setting up for fundraising events and promoting the important mission of Stomp the World. The leaders of this organization devote much of their time and effort to STW while working full time jobs! Everyone at STW is friendly and mission driven. I am enjoying watching this non-profit grow and expand, reaching more and more deserving children.

This is my second year volunteering with Stomp the World. As a classroom teacher it's so refreshing to see what kind of experiences Stomp the World is able to provide to St. Louis area youth outside the classroom. I am enjoying my time as a volunteer tutor and love making the connections with these deserving children and hearing about the experiences Stomp the World provides for them, both educational and life!

I have extensively volunteered my time for this organization just because of the mission alone. I am passionate about the work that this organization does. Creating educational and life experiences outside the classroom is amazing. I believe that children need to see that they have more than what is in their environment. I remember as a kid creating fun just by going outside and playing with sticks. It is these little things that I believe kids are missing out on. So to have an organization to show kids they have more than what they think and that they can learn through the different experiences, is amazing. I cannot wait to see this organization grow into something bigger. Thank you all for what you do at Stomp the World.

Stomp the World seriously does not get enough credit. The mission of this organization is alone awesome. We need more great organizations like this one around. Thank you to all the volunteers at Stomp the World. The work you all do is truly phenominal.

When Kevin Lee told me about Stomp the World, I could not do anything but want to get involved. This is an organization that has a huge impact on making a difference in children's lives. It is an all volunteer organization. The work they do is just astounding. I have been to numerous of their gatherings and it is a joy to see the faces of the kids light up. I like to volunteer my time to organizations that help shape our future. Not only is this organization making a difference, but the staff that volunteer here are great mentors.

When I donate to a non-profit I like to look for those doing great things for their community and keeping it local. Providing experiences for children outside of the classroom both educational and life seems like a great thing to me! When I heard about their trip to Memphis to see the Civil Rights museum, college visits, after school and tutoring programs, I was sold and ready to donate to this all volunteer non-profit! Keep up the amazing work!

I have had the honor and pleasure to watch Stomp The World grow from an idea to an organization that has helped and touched many children and young adults!
