As a victim of bullying since my pre-teens, who endured silently without support; I am painfully aware of the depression and worthlessness that comes from this ordeal. My heart bleeds for young ones who are growing up in the age of cyber bullying. I wish I could protect every young one from the painful and long-lasting aftereffects. I greatly appreciate organizations like this who provide support and resources to victims. As a volunteer, I have found the articles on JW.org to be very helpful for young ones to read, specifically the tab entitled “Teenagers”. I have included a few attachments of articles I find particularly helpful.
This post is meant for another organization as it states above.
Every year my children remind me that we need to celebrate Bullying prevention awareness month. It's important for them to get involved and it makes my husband and I proud that something like this is so important to them. We want to instill caring about others so that they will always be kind. We learned about stomp out bullying and are grateful that they offer so much information to help us help our kids. Thank you stomp out bullying. This is one of the best nonprofits I've seen that offers information for both kids and parents!
i've been reading a lot about stomp out bullying. The more I read, the more i like this organization. This month is bullying prevention month and I have learned so much from their web site. Now when my kids talk about bullying I feel that I can help them. Thank you stomp out bullying.
I'm a Latina mom and very protective of my children. We just moved to a new area and my children have been bullied every day - online at school and at school. I didn't know what to do. I found stomp out bullying on the internet and got great advice from their site. I told their teacher about it and together we helped my children with the stomp out bullying site advice.
I am not the type of person who writes many reviews but this nonprofit deserves kudos. Both my son and daughter who attend different schools have been bullied. So much so that they didn't want to go to school. They told my wife and I about a group called stomp out bullying which their schools ascribed to. Thanks to this organization my kids are no longer being bullied . Both schools have put stomp out bullying programs in place. and there is a noticable difference. We are very grateful to this nonprofit.
We selected to fund this organization. Now more than everI am so glad we did. My next door neighbor's daughter was being extorted by an older man.Stomp Out Bullying helped us get to the proper people to report this before it got out of hand. We appreciate everything they did and will be funding them again. Thanks Stomp Out Bullying.
i am the administrator of a trust who advises where to give money. I had heard about stomp out bullying and reviewed their website. Am so very impressed with the work that group does and I will be recommending them to the trust to make a donation.
I've been working with STOMP Out Bullying for over two years and they are the best of the best to work with! Ross Ellis, CEO and Founder of STOMP Out Bullying, always puts the kids and teens first and really cares about their well-being. I've seen first-hand how this incredible organization has helped and changed so many lives for the better. I hope people will keep on supporting them so they can continue to end the hate and change the culture.
This group never disappoints They were there3 for my kids and now they've been there for my niece. So helpful!!
Love this charity. Their website offers a wealth of information for parents and kids. It has been so helpful to my children and me. My daughter had an issue at school and Stomp Out Bullying helped us resolve it. They are very hands on and I am so thankful I found them.
My child is in a wheelchair. He is constantly being bullied, has no friends and is very depressed. We heard about stomp out bullying and they gave us resources that helped my son. Now he has friends and is no longer being bullied. Thanks a million stomp!
My son has been bullied at school and we were looking for help and found Stomp Out Bullying.
It's not often that an organization helps hands on. We didn't get the usual visit our web site.
I was surprised and impressed. We will definitely be making a donation.
I've been a big fan of stomp out bullying and even moreso since the covid-19 pandemic. With kids being online more than ever, we were keeping a watch on our son's online activities. He never told us but we found out that he is being cyberbullied. Thanks to stomp out bullying we were able to stop the cyberbullying and educate our son on how to handle it. Thank you stomp out bullying.
Stomp Out Bullying just saved my niece's life. No one in the family knew that she was suicidal. This organization is a Godsend! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
Having researched so many anti-bullying groups, I found myself disappointed with the programs. That was not the case with Stomp Out Bullying. Glad I found them. Loads of information and resources on their site
My son has been bullied at school since school began in September, making the past few months a nightmare. I contacted Stomp Out Bullying for advice and my son's life has certainly changed for the better. The advice and suggestions they gave us was perfect. Thanks Stomp Out Bullying.
My family has been searching for a reputable charity to donate to. After an exhausting search, we heard about stomp out bullying. Their press, their reviews, and their campaigns which seem quite successful and the sheer number of children they help, has put them at the top of our list. We are excited to get involved with this organization.
My 14 year-old daughter was depressed. She didn't want to go to school, wouldn't eat, suddenly stayed away from her friends, and stopped using her computer and iphone. When my husband and I asked her what was wrong, she said 'nothing.' We didn't know what to do.I googled the way she was acting and stumbled across Stomp Out Bullying. All of her symptoms appeared as being a victim of bullying. We learned so much from their web site and told her we were there for her and wanted to help. We spoke with her school and got her psychological help. Today she is thriving at school, st home and with her friends. We are so grateful to Stomp Out Bullying.
Bullying and cyberbullying are critical issues. I've been doing a lot of research and came upon Stomp Out Bullying. This organization is fabulous. Once my research was completed I discovered people who I know who have either donated to this group or have been helped by them. Delighted to find such a wonderful group.
As a child psychologist I'm always interested in what anti-bullying organizations have to say. I found this group's website extremely informative. I recommend this site to any parent whose child is dealing with bullying.
My grandson told me about Stomp Out Bullying and wanted me to look at their site with him. He wanted to donate money to them. I had never heard of them and did my due diligence to make sure they were a real charity. Not only did I learn they are a real charity, the work they've done is amazing. My grandson and I studied the site together and we both learned a lot. I will definitely be making a year end donation to them. Very impressive.
This group is amazing. They've helped so many kids. Thank God the kids have them to reach out to. More amazing is that my wife and I made a donation to them in honor of teen who took her life by suicide. Stomp Out Bullying send us a letter, taking the time to look up the teen's information and wrote such a touching personal note. I've gotten form letters from every other charity I've donated to. Very impressive group in many ways.
My nephew has been bullied and no one in the family knew how to handle it. We found Stomp Out Bullying. They gave us the tools to work with and now my nephew has started the new school year being bully free. THank you Stomp out Bullying.
There are so many charities out there it's difficult to know who to choose to donate to. My daughter showed me Stomp Out Bullying because they talked about it in school. I studied their web site and learned so much. They have so much information and they help kids. My daughter and I are asking our friends and family to support us in raising money for this wonderful cause.
My neighbor's daughter took her life over being bullied. They contacted stomp out bullying and received such compassion. They didn't know where to turn. Stomp out bullying spent time with them offering resources and offering them comfort. As bad as the entire family feels they walked away feeling they had made a friend.
I was doing research on a project and stumbled upon stomp out bullying. I ended up reading their entire site. Very impressive/
My niece has been bullied since the start of school. Everyone is at wits end because she is so upset and scared. We found Stomp Out Bullying online and contacted them. With their help and guidance the bullying has stopped and my niece is much happier. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying!
It was always my thinking that all anti-bullying charities are the same. What changed my mind was a conversation I had with a school principal and some high school students. While I researched these groups, I learned that many had copied information from the group who was a pioneer in this space and that was Stomp Out Bullying. Every time I asked who the top charity was, their name came up. I researched them and was pleasantly surprised to see that the work they do helps so many kids. There are so many charities out there. It make it difficult for a person to choose which one to donate to. My research paid off and Stomp Out Bullying was the one I chose.
I hate to admit it, but I have been naive in thinking that my child would never be bullied. She is a cheerleader, very popular and pretty. Over the summer we watched her withdraw and stay home a lot. We ended up taking her to a psychologist and that's when we learned about the bullying. The psychologist recommended we contact Stomp Out Bullying. The help, the information and resources we received were invaluable. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying.
We are adult who grew up with untreated extreme social anxiety.. we got bullied only after we started working.. and only thing we knew is to cry and avoid. It feels nice to see stomp out bullying around.. we use it as shield and info so we pick client served.. and NO being bullied didn’t make us strong.. we rt stomp out bullying and pray it helps children and adults both
My son has been bullied and the school did nothing to help. I didn't know who to contact until I found Stomp Out Bullying online. This charity came through and really helped me with resources and suggestions. Now my son is free from being bullied. Hoping it stays that way but at least I know who to contact if the bullying begins again. I am so thankful to Stomp Out Bullying!
As a educator I am always searching for anti-bullying resources. There are several organizations in the country that offer this information but the best resource is Stomp Out Bullying. They are a wealth of information and offer common sense approaches on bullying and cyberbullying prevention. Additionally they educate against racism and hatred, as well as homophobia and LGBTQ discrimination. I often incorporate their information into my lesson plans and use their educators' bullying prevention toolkit This organization is high on my list and I thank them for helping me to educate my students.
I've been looking for a charity to make a donation to and a friend of mine told me about Stomp Out Bullying. Every thing I have read on their website is so impressive. A school principal who is a friend of mine also told me about their work. After much research, I am convinced that this is the charity I want to help. Keep up the great work Stomp Out Bullying.
While their executive director makes $100,000 per year, one-eighth of the entire budget, the few chatline hours that are offered are seldom manned. The charity gloms on to virtually every celebrity that has uttered the word, "bully." Why an organization would choose the word "stomp" is bewildering, as many people, including children, have been stomped to death by bullies. And when the Disney movie, Cyberbully with Emily Osment was aired, they insisted their their phone number by the only one tagged on the movie. Their phone number was only active as a hotline for a few days. Still, they insist that they are the premier organization for bullying victims, somehow better than all the rest. Beware of fake the many fake 5-star reviews.
This person is not a volunteer with our organization. He works for another organization.
As an educator, I feel that Stomp out Bullying uses the best practices when it comes to bullying prevention. I've used their educator's bullying prevention toolkit. It is complete and helps to teach students social emotional learning that teaches empathy. Teaching is not an easy job. Any additional tools we get to prevent bullying is a gift. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying.
As a high school teacher, I see bullying. I had two students who were making things very difficult for each other. My administrator suggested I pit the aggressor against the victim to force an apology. It didn't work. In fact it made things worse for both students. I contacted Stomp Out Bullying for advice. It worked like a charm. Not only does the victim feel better, but I arranged with the aggresor's parents to get her help. Today, life in my class is calmer and without stress. The aggressor has received the appropriate help and is a much happier and kinder teenager thanks to this wonderful organization.
Our son had been havng problems at school. He didn't want to attend school anymore. It's been a challenge at best. We went to Stomp Out Bullying for assistance and they guided us in the right direction. We were able to get help for our son who now attends school every day and is no longer fearful of his aggressors. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying.
My niece knows I donate to charities and has been telling me about Stomp Out Bullying. I finally got a chance to review this group and am surprisingly impressed. I had not heard of them before but all of the research I've done on this group far exceeds my expectations. I will be making a donation Stomp Out Bullying.
Incredible organization. Love their campaigns and the work they do. Wish they would find another retailer other than Hollister to work with, but other than that, this charity is the real deal!
It is such an honor to serve on the Advisory Board for this incredible organization making such a huge difference in the lives of kids and teens. No one deserves to be bullied and Stomp Out Bullying gives a voice to those that struggle with the horrible effects of bullying and cyber bullying. Ross and her team are amazing, and I salute them for the invaluable work that they do.
I am not one to write reviews unless the reviews are honestly warranted. My neighbor's 15 year old daughter has been bullied online and because of it she has suffered severe depression. They didn't know what to do or who to talk to until someone told them about Stomp Out Bullying. If I hadn't seen the difference in this young girl, I would not have believed it. This group helped her in such an impactful way. Groups like this one should be commended for the real work they do and the difference they make in the lives of our kids.
Last month i found out my daughter was being cyberbullyed. I didn't even know she had an online account. She just turned 13 and apparently has had her online account for 2 years and that's how long she was being bullied. I called stomp out bullying immediately and they told us just how to handle this. My daughter's feelings are very bruised but we'll get through this. I am now a much better educated parent thanks to stomp out bullying.
My 14 year old daughter was the target of a mean and vicious girl. The school was not helpful and my daughter was in tears every day. She was afraid and nervous and after reading about all of the teen suicides due to bullying, I was more than concerned. I contacted Stomp Out Bullying and they gave me advice on how to deal with the school and get their help. By not going to the school like a crazy mama bear, and instead asking for their help, the school was able to not only get the bullying to stop, but they got help for the mean girl. Believe it or not,my daughter and this mean girl are now good friends! Thank you Stomp Out Bullying. This could not have happened without your guidance,
So many charities out there. One doesn't know which ones to support. But my neighbor told me about Stomp Out Bullying and the great work they do to keep kids safe. Not only do they keep kids safe, they're against homophobia, racism hatred and LGBTQ discrimination. I studied their site thoroughly. This group is the real deal! I am proud to be a supporter of this charity!
My two sons can't stop talking about a commercial on TV with kids at school and an English character like George Washington. I watched and saw the commercial. It's from an anti-bullying group called Stomp Out Bullying. Read up on them. They are amazing. My boys have not been bullied but we are going to participate in their campaign to raise awareness and make sure bullying doesn't happen on our school. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying.
I wrote to this charity in hopes that they would help with the problem of my child being bullied. I had nowhere to turn and was at the point of hysteria. I wrote to Stomp Out Bullying and they gave me great advice and resouces. No one has done this for me in the past year. i now have hope that my child will be safe at school and know how to deal with bullies. This is the only charity i will ever count on!
My kids kept telling me about blue shirt day and i thought, great another charity making money on t-shirts, But then i realized the whole school and other schools were participating and holding events to raise awareness. Very impressive. My kids proudly wore their blue shirts and came home telling us about what they learned in school on how not to bully! Great charity! They actually learned what not to do!
I overheard a colleague talking about not knowing what to do as her son was being bullied. I researched anti bullying groups and Stomp Out Bullying stood among the very top. I referred my colleague to this group and he has already received help. So happy to find out about them.
I am always skeptical when I hear that a charity is a leader in their cause field, but after Stomp Out Bullying helped my daughter from being bullyied online, they really are the leaders. My wife and I reached out to several other bullying prevention charities before we contacted Stomp Out Bullying. None of them could help us. Yet, Stomp out Bullying was there to guide and help us and even suggest resources. My daughter is no longer being harassed online. We thank you Stomp Out Bullying!
My teenage daughter is always on her iPhone and until recently I was not aware of the implications that could arise with her constantly being on social media. I wasn't sure what path to take until I visited Stomp Out Bullying's website. They give you all of the information you need in order to help your kids. I still had a question and they answered my email very quickly with instant help! Thanks Stomp Out Bullying. I now know how to handle my daughter being on social media and am confident I can keep her safe..
WOW! What an amazing charity! After much research, it is clear that this group says what it does. So impressive! Been looking for a charity to donate to where my dollars can make an impact. This is defintitely the one!
I read about various issues and causes all of the time. I don't have kids but I do have nieces and nephews. I stumbled across a news story on Stomp Out Bullying. It was so interesting that i started reading more about them and researching them. Told my nieces and nephews about it and they loved the site and information so much, they brought it to their school. Their school now partners with Stomp Out Bullying.
In searching children's charity's to potentially donate to, I came across this wonderful organization! What an amazing group. I am so impressed with what they do and what they have accomplished and the number of children they actually help. They will be on my holiday giving list this year!
As a teacher i find this organization most informative. Their bullying prevention toolkit for educators is so helpful. I'm learning to be a better teacher because of their materials. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying!
My son has been having such a difficult time. The school would not help him. No one would until we found Stomp Out Bullying. I don't know what would have happened to my son if it were not for their help! Great organization! Great people! Great work!
I wish I had a group like this to help me when I was a kid. My friend's son had some serious issues with bullys and this group helped so much. When I heard about them, I decided to visit their website and do some research on them. Very impressive and I will be making a donation.
This charity has been there for our family through thick and thin. My son has been bullied so badly and thanks to Stomp Out Bullying, our nightmare is over. Thank you! Thank you!
This organization is outstanding. They saved my cousin's life! The work they do is wonderful. They help millions of kids. I just read that they just received the award for 'outstanding organization' at National Philanthropy Day and so did their CEO. My family and I love this charity! This Thanksgiving and every day my family will be extremely grateful to them. We are making a donation to thank them and we hope everyone else will too!
I find it interesting that the previous writer questions the true legitimacy of Stomp Out Bullying helping victims. His/her claims seem very questionable. I can attest first hand that Stomp Out Bullying saved my child's life, and they were so helpful in getting their messages into our school and helping the students. This is a wonderful organization and I don't even want to think about what my family's life would be like today if it were not for the help of Stomp Out Bullying.
I'm concerned about whether this is a truly legitimate site to help victims of bullying because my cyberbullies used this site to further harass and cyber-stalk me. I tried to contact this organization multiple times but no answer on phone or email but I did see it posted on a site that my cyber-stalkers were using as their guide to stalking. I actually want to put one star because I depended on your organization to help and not once did it return a call or return an email but because I realize my stalkers were very busy on destroying my reputation, I am giving you the benefit of the doubt. But, maybe you will surprise me and let me know. I won so many awards for my volunteer work as a child, teen and young adult and the next stage of life I would like to continue to believe people are wonderful like I used to think before I became a victim in school but they have prevented me from helping anyone by continuous cyberbullying and cyber-stalking which I"m aware cyber-stalking is against the law 100% of the time. If you think someone is cyber-stalking you, go to the authorities. You don't have the right to make that judgement about anyone without a full investigation. I never got that but my story is about to go public in order to show what I've had to go through because of cyber-stalking. They even prevented me from working or helping others by sending malicious content with my identity.
STOMP Out Bullying never heard from this person, Additionally, we are a children's charity and are unable to offer adults any assistance.
I wish that this was an international organization. It would be more beneficial. None the less, i support all their efforts and firmly believe in stomping out bullying globally. I have been bullied at school by people because of my temper which bullying cause. It was like a never ending cycle, until learnt to control my temper. After six years, i got tired of the bullies and their ever-more irritating ways. Which was getting worse daily. I told my sister and parents and between the schhool, the students and my sister, they ( the bullies) stopped. Now they talk about me behind my back. Their opinion is no longer of value to me, so it doesnt matter. These people feel the need to make other people feel small. This is the only way that they, themselves, can feel good. That is what they believe
This organization continues to amaze me with the work they do. Helping so many students, saving so many lives. I wish I had millions to donate to them so they could extend their reach and help even more. It takes money to run a good nonprofit and programs and they do a great job without millions. I can only imagine what thy could do with millions.
I've been donating to the charity for over a year and they are a group who really help kids and who does what they say they do. I am so impressed and will continue to be a donor as long as they need me.
I think bullying should stop and that we all help those kids who were down to the ground who thought they'd never come back but that's why there are supporters, I don't think we should donate money but love.
Me and a group of friends would like to prevent gay bullying which is part of our project. It would help if we got to help the community and influence those to stop bullying
My husband and I have been looking for a charity to donate to. We reviewed many charities on this web site. We are so impressed with Stomp Out Bullying that we have chosen to make our donation to them. They do incredibly important work. And they actually keep children safe and save lives. Because we have children who are healthy and safe we are honored to make a donation to this charity.
I am delighted to donate to stomp out bullying. This organization not only far exceeds my expectations but their web site and Help Chat Line have helped my daughter tremendously. Very grateful to this charity for all they do.
My kids came home from school and told us their school is wearing blue shirts on Oct 6th. So we looked into and read about this great charity called Stomp Out Bullying. Apparently they were the first ones to get into bullying prevention and this day they have every year on the first Monday of every October is a pretty big deal. Helps kids all over the world take action. We just bought blue shirts for the whole family and made a donation. What a terrific charity!
There is so much in the news about bullying and cyber bullying. My wife and I realized it was time to be proactive with our children and began researching all of the anti-bullying groups. My research let me to pages of groups that think they are experts but they are not, motivational speakers who don't seem very impressive and very few real groups who really do work in this field. After much research, I found myself spending quite a bit of time on Stomp Out Bullying's web site. This group is the real deal. They offer so much information and real how to's. They offer solutions. Even celebrities support their work. We will be making a donation to Stomp Out Bullying, but in the meantime we have found a wonderful resource where we can be proactive and work to educate our children about the issue.
I've known about Stomp Out Bullying for years. Very impressive organization. Just saw a tweet about a recent review and thought it was time to tell everyone just how impressive they really are. They helped my son resolve a bullying situation and taught him about the best and most responsible way to post and handle others' posts online. Today my son is happy and no longer bullied in any way. In fact he's become an upstander at his school and in our community and is going to be participating in the this group's Blue Shirt Day World Day of Bullying Prevention with his school. What a wonderful way to create awareness, make kids responsible and keep them safe. Thank you Stomp Out Bullying! I know you've also saved hundreds of kids' lives. You are an amazing organization.
