I first learned about Still Creek in June of 2020 and at the time I thought, this is too good to be true. In August of 2020 we brought our granddaughter to the ranch and I can tell you I was terrified. But all my fears were unfounded. Our granddaughter who had refused to do schoolwork became a member of the National Honor Society. She participated in sports and drama. The people at Still Creek love her and speak so highly of her. She has had so many opportunities provided by the Ranch and donors of the Ranch.
We have also seen a huge change in her attitude when she comes home. She’s still a teenager, but when she acts out she apologizes. In the past she would never apologize, it was always someone else’s fault.
I am so impressed with the loving, compassionate attitude of the staff, everyone from the person who answers the phone to the houseparents, teachers to the director. They love and care for our granddaughter in a way that we would never have believed possible.
With Still Creek’s unique relationship with Texas A&M there has been mentoring, interacting with the volleyball team and the ability to attend sporting events at the university. All of these things instill a desire in our granddaughter to do well in school and go onto University.
I could go on and on, this organization truly takes children in, makes them a part of their family, sees the gold in each child and calls it out. Their demonstration of God’s heart, their excellence in education and the instilling of a strong work ethic in these kids prepares them for living their best lives.
Still Creek Ranch has changed our family’s life and given us hope for our granddaughter’s future.
Dedicated people that love God and the children God has directed their direction. We’ll trained personal, work more than simple 40 hours, house parents have heart of gold for the children assigned to them and the headmaster is on top of everything to keep SCR headed in the positive direction. The children are blessed for SCR even with their personal life in trouble.

Our Sunday School class has taken SCR under our wing helping with food drives, necessary repairs, clean up and general help where needed. We do this because we have experienced the care, Godly love and christian atmosphere SCR provides to children that have been mistreated, unloved, mentally broken and in such need of the care SCR provides. The staff has a special heart to take these abused children, through no fault of their own, are so mentally defeated that only God's love, via God's servants at SCR provides. SCR is a good place to invest your money to help provide the necessary funds to continue God's work for these defeated children. This is a good place. Richard Terry
I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Still Creek over the past year and it has been incredible. I have gained knowledge and experience in many different areas. I also have a front row seat to watch the Lord move in major ways at Still Creek and through the staff and students. The staff pours into students, volunteers, and each other daily. Still Creek has multiple programs/classes that assist in restoration and healing of the kids there. Throughout my time here, I have also seen God move in me in the most unique ways. Could not be more thankful to be apart of this ministry and what they are doing here.
My name is Roseanne. I came to Still Creek Ranch after I read Margaret O’Quinn’s obituary (July 5, 2015). I thought I could volunteer and help the children. Little did I know the great work God was about to do in me, for the children. I had it backwards. It was not me who would help the children. It was Jesus who would work through me. Retired from 30 plus years in public education I began to see how much I did not know about God’s love for children. Five years on the ranch has shown me Jesus. I have known grown adults and resident children to have life changing experiences for those who answer His call. He can change you also. Give your life to Jesus. Let Him work through you.
Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me”.
The Bible is full of promises. Isaiah 62 “ You will never again be called the People that God Left. Your land will never again be called the Land that God Destroyed.
You will be called the People God Loves. Your land will be... remembrance of my promises.” God had planned in heaven before the foundation of the earth a safe place for children to live and learn the love of God. One of these places is Still Creek Ranch located in Bryan, Texas.
It’s all about the children. All children are made in the image of God. At SCR we lead by example, God’s precious children, to know how valuable they are. Psalm 27:10 “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” Our kids have made it from failed adoptions, hard places and abandonment because of God’s army of people who are loving His work, loving God and loving children. At the end of the road in the middle of nowhere God continues to do it. God has used people whom Still Creek Ranch staff members have never laid eyes on to provide great deeds the Lord has done. God uses people. He has used many community members. He uses a small bunch of people who may give $10 each month. What all donors have in common is we believe in the promises and faithfulness of God. Will you answer the call and let Jesus work through you to provide for children others have thrown away?
Watch the videos below and be prepared to have an understanding of God's great Commision for the past 30 years.
Still Creek Ranch is a place of great restoration. I am so thankful to be able to be a part of what the Ranch does for children in need. I have see children's lives begin a healing process through loving care, gentle redirection, structure, and discipline. There is truly no place like Still Creek. The Lord will continue to bless and provide, and many more children will be restored for His glory. Best people, best place, best kids around. One million/10, would recommend.
I have no idea what personal vendetta the first reviewer is pursuing, but my experience with Still Creek could not be more different. I have lived in this area for over 40 years. I have never been directly, formally affiliated with SCCA, but I have watched it grow and I know many people involved. Because of some of my church's outreach programs, I have met, and worked with, at least 25-30 of the children who have come through their program over the last 10 years. Thsee are qualified, dedicated people who pour their time, energy, and love into kids who have experienced terrible things. They give them hope, along with a good education and solid life skills. I'm sure that there has been a disgruntled employee or two, or a volunteer that got upset or offended; human nature pretty much guarantees that will happen. But I have never heard a hint of scandal, misappropriation of funds, or malfeasance of any sort leveled against Still Creek and I challenge anyone to come up with credible evidence. These are good people, doing great work, saving children's lives.
