Steps to Recovery Homes is truly making a difference in our community. I have been associated with the organization as a Board member and supporter for 8 years. Not only are there homes for men, women, and a transitional house, but offer so much more. The program is very stuctured, but includes life skills, behavior health, and just recently added inpatient and outpatient therapy. The staff is caring and capable. The organization recently moved to accommodate the therapy addition, but they still have the store online with very reasonable and nice items.
My name is CJ This program has helped me get clean From all mind altering substances And has given me a place where I can become a productive member of society I owe so much to this program that I am willing to do anything it takes to help them out
I stopped into the store one day, mostly to look around, and found exactly what I wanted. I bought the piece of furniture and they delivered it for me. While they were here we talked about how much work I needed done around here and I ended up hiring them. They are WONDERFUL!! Their prices are more than reasonable and they do a great job, whatever the job may be. My yard looks 1000% better than it did! And I got some jobs done inside that I'm happy with. I will be back, I will donate and I will support in any way I can. What they are doing is so important here.
This organization has given me a purpose & reignited passion in my heart. Anne & Damien are 2 beautiful souls!
Steps to Recovery Homes is a great organization that not only helps rebuild lives through recovery, but serves our surrounding communities by being part of the solution. Miracles Happen Resale story that is operated by Steps to Recover Homes is also helps residents obtain quality items for low prices. This is definitely a win-win organization!
I have worked with this non-profit as a referral for our clients in Yavapai County as we are a non-profit also. I have found Damien to be very professional and dedicated to advocating and supporting those in recovery. I refer clients who live in Cottonwood or nearby to Damien and Steps to Recovery Homes.
Steps to Recovery Homes is an amazing benefit to this community! They go over and above in helping those with addictions. Their concern for others, and the community has saved so many lives! Not only do they help those with addictions, get clean, this organization follows through to make sure that these people get a new start in life. They are always there for support, and encouraging words. The impact they have on this community is a REAL BLESSING! Not only does this benefit the addicted, it also brings families back together again!
GOD BLESS THEM ALL for their tremendous efforts!
This non-profit organization is truly one that is ONLY interested in causing the community it serves too help be better off than before it became a community resource . This non-profit clearly is dedicated to helping individuals with drug and alcohol addiction to recover from this terrible disease offering the individuals (male & female) to become addict free from being a user. There exists a 6 month program that is aggressively adhered to and totally voluntary by the individuals versus mandatory by some court order. This non- profit causes individuals that are good people having done bad things to once again become good people doing good things.
Doing a terrific job in the community helping addicted patients return to society and earn a living as well. Always willing to lend a helping hand to those with problems and in need.
The Steps to Recovery Homes program has helped me return to being an active participant in my life today. Today I'm able be productive and responsible. I will be forever grateful to them.
My son spent time there and the program was very helpful. They were supportive, and run a solid program.
From an organizational perspective this company is outstanding. The Brownings put their hearts into these homes. They surround themselves with competent professionals. Though this is a young organization, it has and will continue to change lives and positively impact our community.
In 2013 I was in residential treatment in another facility in cottonwood. steps To Recovery provided women's meetings weekly for all the women in 12 step programs in town to gather at their recovery home and share their experience steength and hope with one another. There were sometimes 30 to 40 women in the room. This was during the holidays an especially crucial time for anyone in recovery and Anne always made me and all the women from other facilities feel very welcome. I was only in cottonwood from August 2013 until January 2014 and they may not realize the impact they had on my early sobriety. Anne was celebrating 22 years I believe and Damien celebrated 8 while I lived down their. They were both excellent role models for men and women. They were active in all the recovery activities and were often the ones that were running them, while they both had day jobs. They are exemplary. I am 2 1/2 years clean and sober and continue my path and I am working to follow in their footsteps by opening my own 12 step program in northern Arizona. I wish them the best in their endeavors!
