They are amazing, we adopted 2 kittens from them and love the kittens so much. They made the adoption process easy and they are so friendly and helpful. Starlight Outreach and Rescue is amazing
I started volunteering with Starlight a couple years ago. I was drawn to this particular organization for the care and compassion they have for the animals. They are a no- kill facility of course but it goes beyond that. They carefully screen potential adopters to make sure the animals get a good, safe home. With most agencies when you walk out the door, the animal is yours - no returns. Not so with Starlight - although the do such a great job of matching pets and parents that this isn’t a common occurrence. They work endlessly for the animals - nights, weekends, etc. they are truly the best of the best.

I had a pregnant stray cat that was in desperate need of help. Starlight was amazing at always answering any questions I had and about a couple days after the cat had given birth, they came to pick up the cat and her kittens and got them the help/care they needed!
I am a foster for Starlight and they have been an immense help with bottle babies and other feral cats. I am amazed how many animals they are able to help with such limited space and money! I am a regular donor because I believe in their mission!

I am a new foster for neonatal kittens and a friend of mine had a litter of kittens due to lack of responsibility and said that if I didn’t take them, then she would most likely get rid of them to a shelter, which meant they would die. Starlight helped me so much with their vetting as well as finding them good homes so I can remain focused on keeping them happy and healthy until they leave my care. They’re so easy to work with and very patient with me as well. I will continue to keep working with this organization in the future as well.
Two years ago we had the pleasure of adopting El Chapo. This May we adopted Dee. Although Chapo is deaf and Dee had a leg amputated, Starlight was committed to finding these amazing kittens a forever home. My interactions with the rescue have been nothing but caring and professional. They truly care about the community. Our little family is complete and I can't thank Starlight Outreach enough!
This past summer, I found a feral mom cat with her newborn kittens in my backyard. I contacted Starlight Outreach and Rescue, and they responded quickly, giving me advice concerning this cat family. I kept in touch with them throughout. Once the kittens were weaned, I took them in and they adopted them out to other families. The mom cat was spayed and brought back to the neighborhood. My neighbor is feeding her and is loving hanging around her yard! Starlight Outreach and Rescue was a great help with this cat family! I was so thankful for them!
Starlight Outreach and Rescue is amazing. They work tirelessly to help save the lives of countless lost/abandoned animals and animals that would otherwise be euthanized and help them to find new homes. I've followed them as they have reached out to help families with their pets as well as initiated community TNR programs. If that isn't enough they also provide life saving/enhancing medical care for shelter animals. They are both knowledgeable and compassionate and the community is lucky to have them.
