This is the story of Zeus. Zeus is a 3 year old German Shepherd /Husky mix, and was in a shelter in Northern California, scheduled to be put down because of lack of space in the shelter. I was confident that I could give him a good home, but that home is in Maine. Stacy Hope Rescue was able to pull Zeus from that shelter within a couple of hours of his scheduled euthanasia and made the arrangements to fly him to a foster in Southern California for two weeks, then transported to me in Maine. Stacy Hope Rescue was in contact with me through the whole process and helped me so much! I definitely hope to work with them again in the near future to get Zeus a buddy!
I have worked with a few rescues but none like Stacy Hope. They are exceptional. Isabelle puts her heart and soul into her rescue and it shows in everything she does. As a volunteer, you need to feel supported by the rescue because it can be a lot of work. Isabelle is quick to answer, does check-ins, reimburses financial matters, creates tons of posts, and above all else she genuinely cares about not just the dogs, but the fosters too. It really takes a team. If you are looking for a rescue to support or contribute to, Stacy Hope Rescue is more than deserving and guaranteed to infinitely have a positive impact on the dogs in need.
This is by far the best rescue I have fostered for. The owner, Isabelle, always does what is best for the dogs in order to guarantee they are provided with the best outcome. She also values her fosters, makes a point of listening to their input and provides them with all the tools necessary to make the foster experience as seamless as possible. She goes above and beyond for all involved.
I want to start by saying that Stacy’s Rescue is absolutely the best! Their genuine love and care for the animals they take in are evident in everything they do.
The dog I am adopting from them is named Nicholas. He was at the North Central Animal Shelter and had only days left to live due to severe weight loss and self-harm.
Thanks to Stacy’s Rescue, who tirelessly spread awareness about him and others, I discovered Nicholas and knew I had to adopt him.
Stacy’s Rescue took care of all his vet care and even found him a foster home where he could recover until he was ready to travel. They have made the entire adoption process seamless, even though I live in Washington state and Nicholas is in California. This weekend, I will finally meet my bundle of joy, and it's all thanks to Stacy’s Rescue.
Thank you all for everything you do. Your dedication to the love and safety of these animals is truly remarkable.
I have been working with Stacy Hope Rescue as a dog trainer for over a year. This rescue is one that never gives up on the dogs – quite literally. They prioritize the well-being and interests of the dogs, being attentive and supportive of their fosters. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with Stacy Hope Rescue.
Stacy Hope Rescue matched us with the perfect pup (Autumn) and helped us through the adoption process every step of the way. They even delivered Autumn right to our door; which meant an 8+ hour drive for one of their volunteers. Our pup arrived healthy and happy and up to date on all of her shots. In addition, one of Stacy Hope's foster care partners took time to house train and crate train (along with some other basics) which saved us a lot of work. Stacy Hope Rescue and their network of donors even helped us defray much of the cost of the adoption. This was a real blessing considering all of the additional expenses one incurs adopting a large breed dog. Though not everyone who adopts will have the exact same experience, I am certain that this rescue will do everything in their power to ensure a good match and a good experience. Thank you Stacy Hope Rescue!
Stacy Hope Rescue is the best. They work tirelessly to advocate and save animals. Most of the animals they save are on euthanasia lists and come from crowded shelters. Sometimes they’re animals that no one else is willing to take on and help.
We fostered a dog for Isabelle and Stacy Hope and we always felt supported and like Luna and our best interests were at hand. The first few days or weeks of fostering is an adjustment for the humans and animals. Many shelter dogs are starved of love and resources. But Isabelle makes sure both humans and the animals in their care are well prepared for success.
I truly can’t advocate for this organization enough and what Isabelle is trying to do! Please consider fostering and/or donating to Stacy Hope Rescue.
We are currently fostering a beautiful doggie that Stacy Hope Rescue saved from an LA shelters euthanasia list. The entire process has been a fantastic experience, thanks to the head of SHR, Isabelle’s, unwavering compassion and commitment to finding loving homes for these deserving dogs. Isabelle selflessly work’s around the clock so that these dogs can get a second chance at life. The way that Isabelle runs the rescue is a perfect example of how all rescues should be run. We are so honored to be able to work with such a wonderful organization.
I was very sad about my dear lucy passing away . I was very sad and I came across a dog that needed a home . Isabel is an incredibly kind individual, and I adopted my baby Lonzo from her rescue. Lonzo is the sweetest angel I could have ever asked for. I am writing this review from the bottom of my heart because I desperately needed a dog to help me cope with the challenges of adjusting to a new environment. Isabel and her team conducted all the necessary checks and I was able to bring home my beloved Lonzo. Isabel treats my dog as if he were her own nephew and is always available to help whenever I need assistance.
