Mission: Spiritual mentoring and practical assistance to prisoners
Programs: Backpack program-provision of a backpack filled with basic necessary items (including toiletries, bus pass, clothing, etc. ) to newly-released prisoners to assist with their transition to civilian life.
passport program-mentoring inmates in advance of their release who are considered indigent, to assist with their transition and return to society.
mentoring program-volunteers are assigned to newly released prisoners to mentor them one-on-one.
uplift program-provision of transitional housing, employment-readiness training, job placement assistance, transportation, & personal financial training, as well as food, basic housekeeping items, and clothing for newly-released prisoners who have been identified through the passport program. The uplift program was discontinued in july 2017 and replaced with the backpack program.
