Mission: St. John house for the homeless, inc. , a brooklyn based not-for-profit organization, provides outreach and spiritual/social help for homeless people and those with alcohol and drug abuse problems. The organization assists them in getting medical and social rehabilitation by referring them to the government sponsored programs in coney island hospital, staten island hospital etc. St. John is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and is always ready to serve food, provide necessary personal care, clothing, household supplies, transportation, and in some cases little monetary assistance, as well as paying for medical expenses for individuals if necessary.
