My wife rented from these people. Our children ruined 3 of the 6 books we borrowed. The other 3 remained in a bookshelf and a desk with a lock. wI went on a hunt to find the books my toddler ruined with milk. In the interim I did tell my wife to go ahead and return the damaged math books with a note that they will be replaced from Christianbooks.com
This link is where I shipped it from

We also replaced a confirmation book and it was brand new as well

We had them directly mailed FROM the website TO the owner of stjeromeshomeschool library

She never confirmed receipt of the books even though my wife emailed her on the date of purchase in September of 2017 to let her know she had received them. But since my tracking details showed rhe books delivered my wife and I assumed a non profit would just accept them and our apologies

The owner has been rude to us before but we tried to let it go. This time people have to know. She lies. She is deceitful. If you do business with them keep thorough records.i suggest photographs as well. I have receipts and bank statements to prove I tried to make it right but she had the audacity a year later to email my wife and pretend that we are bad people. We did our due dilligence. She is just plain deceitful.Bad.

Our family loves this charity! Every year we rent all of our textbooks from them for homeschooling our kids. What we can't rent we can buy for reasonable prices in their bookstore. I also know that several people have received free hardcover beautiful catechisms upon request. The books they publish are reliably Catholic without any modernist garbage. The library and bookstore is run by families and does so much good.

This is a wonderful Catholic nonprofit which helps families save money by renting homeschooling books for the school year or buying discounted new items. They also sell many other items at discounted prices to help fund raise for the support of the nonprofit. There are eBay stores which donate to SJHLB as well. Just go to shop for charity on eBay and look up this nonprofit if you want to buy at great prices and help support a good cause! They also publish wonderful Catholic books you cannot find anywhere else by several amazing Catholic authors, including priests!
