In the last week of March 2014, I attended and witnessed the graduation from high school of the very first scholars funded by this non-profit organization. Of the 8 graduates, 4 made it into the honor roll, one of which graduated salutatorian. Currently, there are 22 St Augustine School Alumni International Inc (SASAI ) scholars, and they are all doing great academically. The K-12 program extended high school to two addtional 2 years, and coupled with budgetary/funding limitation, SASAI has to cut-back in awarding scholarship to 4 every year. If funds would permit, it shall increase its number of scholarship awards every year. And as long as there good people who volunteer their services, and more importantly donors who are generous enough to provide donations, SASAI will maintain its high scholarship standards to ensure that only the most worthy, brightest from the poor families will be awarded scholarship.

SAS Ai is a U.S. non profit organization whose primary mission is to provide scholarship to intelligent students from Tagudin, I.Sur, Phl, and the surrounding neighboring towns who want to finish their secondary education at Saint Augustine's School. Bright students but are handicapped by financial hardships. The scholarship includes, tuition, book purchases, uniforms, shoes, expenses for major student projects, stationeries, supplies and monetary assistance for internet use for research. Not a penny from scholarship donation are spent for general and administrative, as all goes for the scholars' needs. While SAS Ai is U.S.based, it has a very active local presence through a Field Team consisting of volunteers that are all professionals and business people who are SAS alumni. The field Team process scholarship applications and serves as monitor, counselor and adviser of all the selected scholars as they progressed from Grade 7 to High School Graduation. To date, SAS Ai has 23 scholars. 6 seniors had already graduated and in the last school term, it has 7 scholars in the school's honor rolls. SAS Ai is now considered the gold standard in the administration and management of scholarship program in that part of the world. The Officers and Board of Trustees members are all professionals and successful in the careers they have chosen, and are from all over the globes. They are not compensated, and their services are strictly voluntary. They are all alumni of SAS.
The scope of work that it entails to keep a non- profit organization afloat is not easy. It takes guts and an extraordinary business acumen to do so. After all , non- profit organizations are not after making a profit. Instead , it is a business for a cause.
Witnessing the dedication , commitment and enthusiasm of everyone involved in the management of St. Augustine School Alumni International made me a BELIEVER. I started as a donor and recently was invited to become a member of the Board of Trustees. It gives me great pride to be working alongside these dedicated and hard-working volunteers. I once read that our greatest responsibility in life is to take care of one another. St. Augustine School Alumni International mission statement epitomizes this responsibility. My hope as a donor and a member of this organization is for every individual to find that call in their hearts.
To our scholars, keep up the good work. It is a privilege to be able to join and assist you in this very remarkable journey. All of you think that what we have given you is something special , but , please know that what you are giving us in return is much more.
Before SAS Ai broke into the scene offering its brand of financial assistance to bright kids who come from poor families so they can attend SAS high school, many groups, e.g., Foundations, Well-to-do Families, Associations, special interest groups, etc. tried to sponsor kids to attend SAS high school. Their good deed had one glaring flaw: they did not require their beneficiaries to attain a certain GPA and graduate. Their beneficiaries were left to fend for themselves. Sad to say the attrition rate of their programs sat at 2 out 10 not finishing school.
SAS Ai sets the gold standard in scholarship programs. How? SAS Ai maintains a Field Team operating locally in Tagudin, close by the SAS campus. They oversee the welfare of the scholars, provide them with needed school supplies, interface with the teachers to check on how the scholars are doing in class, check class attendance and overall grades. The scholars are held accountable for their grades, behavior and progress in order to maintain their scholarship awards.
The SAS Ai scholarship program is the most generous of all financial aid packages offered, paying not only for tuition and books but also providing school uniforms, shoes and school supplies. The set up is geared to help the brightest kids who come from the poorest of families.
SAS Ai, Inc. leads the field and sets the standard of measurement in scholarship programs.
SASAi endeavors to continue providing free high school education to poor and bright children. Assistance, whether monetary or in kind for education, provides comfort to the whole family, This simple act of caring for the welfare of children has a great impact in their lives. The people behind the organization wish to help more deserving kids that is why more donations from generous souls are needed to financially stabilize their charitable efforts. Every child has a right to education. Education is freedom.

I am extremely proud to be aligned with SAS Ai, Inc, an organization that sends bright kids from financially deprived families to get educated in a decent and respected school. There are other organizations equally doing so but what makes SAS Ai stand out is having a group of selfless and tireless individuals working together and sharing time, talent and resources. The mission does not stop from merely donating money for tuition but extends up to providing coaching, guidance, and counseling services. SAS Ai also aims to assist these children perform well, maintain their scholarship, obtain secondary education and propel them to go and chase for their dreams. This is an example of true charity and absolutely the finest in the world!
I have seen the way the SAS Ai Field Team takes care of the SAS Ai scholars with respect, attention, and follow through. The Field Team is comprised of volunteers. They are working professionals - teachers, accountants, business people. Still they put in their time to help. Registration day is coming up soon and members of the Field Team will be super busy helping the kids get outfitted with their school uniforms, get properly enrolled, and to get their school supplies. The Field Team contributes to the success of the SAS Ai scholarship program. They are our volunteers where the rubber meets the road.
I,Phoebe D. Balala is very thankful that I was to chosen be a scholar of SASAI.
SASAI has helped me a lot in my schooling and in my progress as well. It serves as my light to cope up and to persevere. I am so proud that I was given a chance to continue my studies in a better school although we are in financail help. Thanks SASAI. You are a light that enlightens our way in a better future.!
St. Augustine School Alumni International or SASAI has been sending poor and bright students to St Augustine's School here in Tagudin for a few years now. I am at present a scholar of SASAI. True to their words, SASAI provided us with everything we need in school. To all the people behind this great non-profit organization, thank you and keep up the good job!
I am Michelle and a proud recipient of educational financial assistance from St Augustine School Alumni International. I belong to the first batch of scholars supported by SASAi and I will be graduating this coming school year. St Augustine School Alumni International Inc has helped me in many ways and I am thankful to all my benefactors for their generosity. Kids like me who are financially handicapped were given another chance to get quality education. SASAI is one true charity organization.
We at the St Augustine School Alumni International Inc don't just send poor but bright students to school. Our mission doesn't stop there. We make sure that they get the best quality education they deserve.
I wrote a review about St Augustine School Alumni International Inc (SASAI) in July, 2012. In that I told you what SASAI is, its mission, its volunteers, how many scholars were there and the ever continuing program of seeking bright young kids handicapped by financial hardship to be provided scholarships for them to enable to complete their secondary education in one of the premier high school in Northern Luzon, Philippines., Saint Augustine's School, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur. In the recently concluded school term, SASAI scholars are very well represented in the honor rolls, and in the field of extra curricular activities. There were 5 in the honor rolls and another 5 awardees in various scholastic awards and in participation of the school's various extra curricular activities. These accomplishments are testimonials to the very effective scholarship application processing of SASAI ensuring that only the brightest and very deserving students are funded to continue on their secondary education. SASAI strive to have each year new scholars whose secondary education (Jr. High to Sr High, or 6 years). Though we would like to maintain a 4 new scholars every year, which we may have this year, it is sometimes hampered by the lack of kind-hearted and generous donors, that many a times the officers and volunteers shell out their own monies (aside from their priceless services and sacrifices) just to accommodate the ever increasing demands. SASAI is now the gold standard of scholarship application processing and funding in that part of the Philippines. Many had tried to copy but has not been yet successfully duplicated. But SASAI is open to any invitation from any non-profit organizations to provide training in how to run a successful scholarship program.

St. Augustine's School Alumni International, Inc. (SASAI) believes that it is a terrrible waste if a brilliant young mind is not academically developed and nurtured. Financially handicapped but brilliant students who wanted to finish their high school education at SAS were given a chance to finish their high school education by SASAI. Another school year has passed. Field team members are again working diligently accepting and evaluating candidates. Thank you field team for your generosity in giving a slice of your precious time in making this process happen for SASAi.

We are hopeful that our scholar takes full advantage of the generosity of all who donate to the SAS Ai scholarship fund. It is a good program. The best among the many being offered in Tagudin right now. The big difference that sets SAS Ai's program apart from all other scholarship programs is their integrity. This is the main reason why we support the mission of SAS Ai.

Before, I, Mariella Stephanie Lyne C. tacho is only dreaming to study in SAS. I was just like a crazy girl because i am longing for something which is impossible to happen. I don't know what is really the definite reason why I want to set my foot in SAS. Maybe, it can provide me a quality education or better future.
Nowadays, many poor yet bright students wants to continue their studies in SAS. That's why, I consider myself a fortunate one because i received a blessing that can help me a lot and move forward.
THANKS SASAI. Thanks to the people behind this. I salute you. Just continue your good deeds Sir\ ma'am and the Almighty will reward you.

Layco Geraldine-scholar of saint Augustine School Alumni International
saint Augustine School Alumni International or known as SASAi is a very helpful program to those students who cannot afford to study or to attend in a school because of poverty.
For us, we are so lucky as an scholar because they give us chance to study in a very known and a private school SAINT AUGUSTINE'S SCHOOL (SAS). all of them are very supportive for all of us as an scholars, they give all the things that we need and always giving us inspirational advice that can help us in our studies and also to become a better person.the also serves as our mentors and they are the reason why i and other scholars experience life as an students of SAS. that's why i can say that I am so lucky and thankful because i was chosen as one of the scholars of SASAI.
So the word thank you is not enough to pay all of their sacrifices for us..:)
Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI) I am so thankful for being one of the scholars of this organization. The people behind this organization are the people who have a very big heart and a helping hand because they help other people without expecting something in return. For me,they are considered as heroes because they help students like me to go to school and start a new life for a better future.
I am so thankful for the great opportunity that SASAi had given to me, this scholarship helped me a lot. This helped me study in a private school, provided our needs in order for us to make our studies well and they are always there for us to advice, help, support and monitor our performances in school.
Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI) is indeed a great help because it lessens the financial burden of parents in sending their children to school. As a scholar, it motivates and encourages us to strive hard in order to attain our goals in life.
Melvie Legaspina- Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI)
Saint Augustine's School Alumni International an ordinary words yet has an extraordinary meaning. SASAI stands for Saint Augustine's School Alumni International. I am proud to say that SASAI is a group of kindhearted persons who's goal is to help students who is less fortunate and wants to study but cannot be able to afford the high tuition fee of their desired school which is SAS. SASAI also believes in the power of education and the benefits that anyone can receive from it, because education is a wealth that no one can steal yet it will serve as your sword and shield to face confidently all the challenges that you will encounter along your way.

Saint Augustine's School Alumni International(SASAI) stands up to help us to reach our dreams and nurture our knowledge. They focus on their good advocacy and vision to others such as give importance for education. They help students like me who is really determinate to study hard and give their virtue to study.
Krisha C. Teodosio- Scholar of Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI)
Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI) inspired me a lot, they are the reason why I'm here enhancing my skills and talents. They lead me into a right path to be able to achieve my dreams and goals in life. I am happy to have SASAI family, they show that I must finish my studies despite of poverty. At first, I want to give up but SASA lift me up and until now they are always their for us no matter what happens. Each of us trying our best so that our parents, friends and also our sponsors will be proud of us.
SASAI helps me a lot in my schooling especially their financial support and it also helps my Family not a burden to us. It’s my honor and privilege to be one of their scholar and I can’t afford to study to SAS without SASAI. SASAI is one of those institutions that help children who don’t have chance to continue to study.
Rocel Ann Vinluan- a scholar of Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI)
..Saint Augustine's School Alumni International (SASAI) is not just simple as we know. They are not just giving us the chance to study in Saint Augustine's School , a private, catholic, and also a friendly school in Tagudin either they are also giving us the courage to wish and prove that "poverty is not the hindrance to pursue our dreams and goals in life". It is not about competition between scholars but it is also a companionship inside a friendship. It is not a competition to be played by us but it is a game to enjoy. A game that needs a serious player who can say " I am sure in this decision I made. Me, myself and I started it and I promise that I will finish it without doing any violation that can hurt other people."
I work overseas as a computer professional and in one of the seminars I attended I heard somebody talk about SAS Ai, Inc., the public-charity organization. All of the things said about the organization were positive. When I inquired further on their mission, I was surprised to hear that they were into helping kids who come from poor families get a good high school education. I hold education near and dear to my heart because this is how I was able to find a good job... through education. I commend SAS Ai for their works of charity.
I am no stranger to business, nor a greenhorn in the domain of non-profit organizations. I have a vast experience in the business of fund raising and promoting good programs. SAS Ai is an exemplary organization. The team is very cohesive and they are very focused on their mission. I salute them on their success. More power to SAS Ai, Inc.
I believe that in donating to the SAS Ai scholarship fund I am helping send a promising student through high school at SAS. I have no reason to doubt this because SAS Ai is a very excellently run organization. The volunteers are all professionals.
SAS Ai, Inc. runs the most effective scholarship program to SAS, bar none. We are sponsoring one student because we believe that SAS is a good school and also that SAS Ai will make sure that our scholar is doing his schoolwork. We are very committed to supporting SAS Ai's mission.
I am a member of the SAS Ai board of trustees. I volunteered for the position because I believe in the mission of SAS Ai. I myself benefited from a scholarship package offered by the missionary nuns who ran the school. I am proud to be part of the SAS Ai team.
We are currently meeting with other members of our graduating class in order to decide when we will sponsor one scholar with SAS Ai, Inc. We believe that SAS Ai has the best program for our kids there in Tagudin and we are going to support their mission.
I am a graduate of St Augustine's School. When I first heard of SAS Ai, Inc and their scholarship program, I couldn't believe at the generosity of the assistance package. But over time I have seen the way it has helped many in our hometown of Tagudin. I can really support the mission of SAS Ai and I can truly appreciate their efficiency and professionalism.
SAS Ai, Inc. is a public charity organization operating under the 501(c)(3) IRS tax code. Donors can claim their donations to the SAS Ai scholarship fund as a tax deduction. What a program these guys run. Very efficient and most professional.
I am considering making a donation to the SAS Ai scholarship fund because I have heard nothing but good things about their scholarship program.
My family is sponsoring one student. Coming from the Philippines I know how hard life is when you are poor. There are no jobs to be had, and if there are jobs they do not pay much. SAS Ai does an excellent job at running their scholarship program. Rather than singlehandedly help one student by sending them to school, I like to work through SAS Ai because they keep track of the student's progress. For example, I know how my scholar is doing in school because SAS Ai keeps me apprised. My investment is good.
I am a registered nurse by profession and I have been involved in scholarship programs run by various groups and associations. Comparatively speaking, most of those groups that I worked with before did not continue and became defunct because the way they implemented their program and managed their assets were not up to par. SAS Ai on the other hand does not spend anything on administrative costs because all those who run its day to day operations are volunteers. This is what I admire about SAS Ai. All the funds they raise goes to the scholarship fund for these poor kids. Excellent program run by an excellent group of folks.
SAS Ai, Inc. is by far the best organization to run a scholarship program. They practice transparency in their business transactions. SAS Ai has integrity. Since their inception they have never stopped helping our bright kids who come from poor families get a good high school education at SAS. I am a graduate of St Augustine School and I know it is the best private school in the province of Ilocos Sur. SAS Ai provides these kids a rare opportunity to get a high school education. For these reasons I support what SAS Ai is doing wholeheartedly.
My husband and I have always believed in that education is freedom. We grew up poor and know exactly what it is like to not be able to afford school. This is why we believe that through the efforts of SAS Ai we can help these bright kids make something out of their lives. We are invested in supporting SAS Ai's mission.
I just think of the poor kids who go to bed hungry at night. All of us should help these kids get something to eat and to get a good education. SAS Ai, Inc. is a public charity organization that is talked about a lot in our parish. Their mission to help these kids gives a compelling argument to make a donation. I can support this group.
I volunteer for SAS Ai because I believe in the mission. I also come poor beginnings and I know how hard it is to get help on funding for school. SAS Ai has many generous donors and supporters. SAS Ai runs its scholarship program with utmost efficiency. I am proud to be associated with SAS Ai.
When I was in the active military I had an opportunity to help build a school building in the Philippines compliments of the United States Navy. I saw the face of poverty in those shanties and rows of lean-to's the people called home. I also sensed a tremendous amount of hope from those kids as they watched us put up the roof of their new school. SAS Ai is doing the same thing. I heard Tom Buenavista's presentation and I believe that SAS Ai's mission is something I can subscribe to and support.
I have heard a lot of good things about SAS Ai and their mission to help bright kids who come from poor families get a good high school education at SAS. Although I have not donated any money, I am trying to save some so I can start and allotment. These kids sound like they are motivated. More power to them. Also, SAS Ai is the standard by which all scholarship programs are measured against.
When brother knight Tom Buenavista presented to our council his non-profit organization SAS Ai, Inc., I felt that their mission was something I could support. Their mission is to help bright kids who come from poor families get a good high school education through scholarship assistance. Some of our members did donate to the scholarship fund. I believe we need more organizations such as SAS Ai, Inc.
I cannot give very much but what I can afford to give I give it because of these poor kids who are trying so hard to get off the poverty train through education. I am an old man and I see many kids just hanging out aimlessly. I wonder if they know the value of a good high school education. It seems to me that SAS Ai has a good mission and that is to help these bright kids who come from poor families get a good high school education. I will continue to support this SAS Ai mission because I believe that through education we can have better members of community and better citizens.
When we donated to the SAS Ai scholarship fund, we were thinking about the bright kids who were wanting to attend high school. We see many kids who take high school for granted and drop out. These kids that Mr Buenavista's organization is helping seem to be motivated to finish high school. They are also very bright and full of potential. It is unfortunate that their families cannot finance their schooling. But this is where we come in. We want to support these kids because we know that education is freedom.
We feel that SAS Ai is the best organization to provide such a scholarship assistance to those bright kids who come from poor families. Their selling point is the their locally based Field Team that takes care of the scholars while they attend school. Most entities that grant scholarship assistance do not check up on the students throughout the school year. SAS Ai stays with the students all they way to graduation. This tells us that our donation is not wasted and is put to good use.
It is such a great pleasure, privilege and an opportunity to be a part of the Saint Augustine School Alumni International, Inc. (SAS Ai, Inc). As one of its scholars, SAS Ai helps me pursue my high school education at Saint Augustine's School (SAS), the premier private school of Tagudin and the entire province of Ilocos Sur. I believe that with SAS Ai's firm support for the poor, getting good education is a step closer to success. My heart felt gratitude goes to the people of SAS Ai for their selfless sacrifices, and to all the generous people who donate to the scholarship fund. It is through their generosity that a ray of hope shines brightly on those of us who are in need.
I am very thankful to God and to all of you for blessing me with a SAS Ai scholarship. I prayed for this gift. I also thank you all for sponsoring me and my fellow SAS Ai scholars. You are all most generous. My selection to the scholarship program came to me as a shock. The competition was keen and I was not in the top of my class. But good enough grades, good recommendations, a good essay, a complete application and a good pre-test helped push me through. Also my family is truly in need of financial help. I am sure that SAS Ai checked all of this. Being a SAS Ai scholar is challenging. The expectations are high. We must always be at our best whether in school or out. SAS Ai standards are very high. Theirs is the best scholarship package ever to be offered here in Tagudin.
For me personally, having been selected as one of the SAS Ai scholars is an achievement. It would have been very difficult for my parents to send me to SAS high school. We are very poor. When SAS Ai explained their scholarship program to my family, we could not believe the generosity of the assistance package. But, this is for me a God given moment. I am taking full advantage of the opportunity so that I can work toward a college scholarship. My family and I are very grateful to all the generous folks that support the mission of SAS Ai by donating to the scholarship fund.
The greatest gift I ever received is the gift of a free high school education, with the help of Saint Augustine School Alumni International, a charitable organization aimed at helping bright but poor students of Tagudin and its neighboring towns get quality education. I am pretty sure that with their continued support, more young people will benefit from their scholarship program. A better and brighter future and a greater chance for the scholars of SAS Ai like me to succeed. LONG LIVE SAS Ai!!!
I thank God for the gift of free education and I consider this a blessing for I am a beneficiary of this worthy endeavor. This was made possible because of the Saint Augustine's School Alumni International, Incorporated or simply SAS Ai. The people behind this organization and the many generous supporters of the mission of SAS Ai are making it possible for us poor kids to attend high school at St Augustine's School (SAS). All our generous sponsors and donors are making a great big sacrifice to help us kids. For myself, I believe that education is freedom. With a good education I will be able to help my family as I get a job. The entire community of Tagudin benefits from this SAS Ai scholarship program. We are all grateful to be able to attend a quality Catholic institution, Saint Augustine's School.
SAS Ai benefited me so much because it is through the SAS Ai scholarship program that I am able to attend St Augustine's School. My parents are very proud of my accomplishment. Earning good grades has come as a result of hard work but not as hard as it would have been if I still have to worry about where my next tuition fee is coming from. SAS Ai also helped me to be a strong believer in myself. Attending school has improved my decision making abilities largely due to the high expectations SAS Ai puts upon us. Being a SAS Ai scholar remains challenging to this day because I have to keep up my grades at a high standard. I am proud to be a SAS Ai scholar.
SAS Ai scholarship program helped me with my school expenses. It gave us scholars a chance to study in a high standard school, Saint Augustine's School. It helped us also in our everyday lives because with SAS Ai paying for the tuition, we scholars don't have to worry and fret about where the next matriculation fee is coming from. I pray for the safety of all the members of the Board and all our generous donors who are willing to help and support all of us scholars.
First of all sir , I want to thank SAS Ai again for choosing me to be a scholar in this scholarship program . SAS Ai helped me to achieve my dreams and goals in my life by giving me a chance to continue my studies at one of the most prestigious high schools like SAS. It also benefited me to learn good, more and also broaden and widen my knowledge about other things. SAS Ai not only helped me but also helped my parents because they don't have the money to send me to high school. Hoping that this program will continue in helping the poor and deserving families to attain their goals, continue their studies, and turn their dreams in to reality.
As an overseas worker I realize that education is very important when competing for domestic helper positions. Knowing what SAS Ai is trying to do to help the bright kids who come from poor families back home in the Philippines get a high school education, I have to declare my support for their mission in a public way. I too come from poor beginnings and attended St Augustine School. I know that education is very important. Mabuhay SAS Ai.
I volunteered for duty with SAS Ai because I firmly believe in the mission of helping bright kids who come from poor families get a good high school education at SAS. Watching the kids progress through school gives me the greatest feeling of satisfaction. I also like to help solicit scholarship funds from my friends, colleagues and peers.
I heard about SAS Ai from a relative who is sponsoring a student attending SAS. From his report this SAS Ai organization is a model of efficiency and professionalism. I wholeheartedly believe the report and I have seen the organization's impact in the entire community of Tagudin.
I am a recent graduate of St Augustine School (SAS) and the youngest member of the SAS Ai board of trustees. I was the first handicapped wheelchair bound person to attend and graduate from SAS. In all my years at SAS I enjoyed the utmost cooperation of the nuns and the faculty. I highly recommend to all high school bound students to consider attending SAS high school. It would have been so good to have this SAS Ai organization when I attended school. With my good grades and financial need, I could have applied for sponsorship. But I am happy for the current crop of scholars that we have. They are very motivated to achieve their full potential. One thing that helps them focus on their school work is the locally based SAS Ai Field Team that takes care of their needs. I am proud to be a member of this organization. I also would like to promote our cause and mission to the generous public. Please give us your support for the sake of the children.
As the Field Team Leader locally based here in the town of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, I feel privileged to be able to assist the SAS Ai scholars in a most personal and professional way. My job is to make sure their needs are met promptly and that their school performance results are communicated to the board of trustees for dissemination to the donors and generous contributors. Being in daily contact with the scholars has brought me much joy. Seeing their progress in school and in their social development is and in of itself rewarding. I am truly dedicated in continuing to support the SAS Ai mission. To all our generous folks out there, please support the mission of SAS Ai to help these bright kids who come from poor families attend high school at SAS.
My heart goes out to the bright kids who come from poor families and who would very much like to complete their high school at a private school, namely SAS. My monetary donation was totally intended to help send one of these kids to high school. I have the utmost appreciation for Catholic schools specially the missionary schools in the Philippines because they have a solidly academic curriculum with the added spiritual dimension. When I was in the military I was stationed in the Philippines and I know first hand how hard life can be in the Philippines. I only hope for the best for the kids and if I may put in a plug for the SAS Ai organization - they are the best at implementing such a scholarship assistance program.
A fellow Knight in our Knights of Columbus council, brother Tom Buenavista explained to us in one of our council meetings about kids who are bright and promising but because they come from very poor families they cannot afford to attend high school at St Augustine School. He further explained that these families have to live with less than $1167 USD a year. I thought I'd channel some of my charitable contributions for such a worthy cause. I grew up in a poor family and I know what it's like to go to bed hungry. Judging from the character of Mr Buenavista, who is the VP of SAS Ai, Inc. I have only the highest admiration for their mission. I encourage all generous folks out there to consider supporting SAS Ai, Inc.
My parents were so proud that I qualified to be a SAS Ai scholar. My family and I come from the adjacent township of Santa Cruz, in the little village of Sagat. My grades were decent enough and my family is considered poor. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to attend St Augustine School. It is the best in the province. I truly admire the Field Team that is locally based in the town of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur. There was one day when it rained so hard it was hard for me to get a ride home. Our village is about 45 kilometers from the town of Tagudin. Mr Albert Bunoan, our Field Team Leader contacted a tricycle operator on my behalf and I got safely home. SAS Ai is a class organization.
I never thought I’d be attending such a well established and traditional private school, such as, Saint Augustine School (SAS). I come from a very poor family. My family never could have had the means to finance my high school studies there at SAS. I could only dream about it. Now, with the help of a SAS Ai scholarship for which I qualified through my family’s poor financial status and earned through stellar academic performance, I am attending SAS. The SAS Ai Field Team locally based here in our hometown of Tagudin makes sure that our school supply needs are met and that our welfare is looked after. To show our appreciation to our many generous donors we do our very best in our studies and community outreach volunteer work. I'm very, very proud and thankful to be one of the many SAS Ai scholars. I hope SAS Ai will continue helping other people who are in need.
The Saint Augustine School Alumni International scholarship program (SAS Ai) engages in the noble mission of granting and funding four-year high school scholarship funding to deserving students. But such noble endeavors cannot continue to function without steady generosity and loyal financial support from donors. With the uninterrupted individual and collective support from donors, SAS Ai is committed to pursuing and propagating its goals and objectives into the future. I am very fortunate to have been selected as one of the SAS Ai scholars. It is my goal to help other kids get an education when I become successful.

I was very overwhelmed and pleased when SAS Ai welcomed me as one of the recipients of their scholarship assistance program. I couldn’t express my emotion then, because it was such a great opportunity for me to be able to attend high school at SAS. So far I am enjoying my school work and learning many things. My work garnered me an outstanding student of SAS award and it made my parents very proud. The SAS Ai scholarship program also provides us outside of the classroom activities, such as, picnics, sleep overs, educational excursions to historic places. These extracurricular activities have helped me appreciate my community, my Philippine heritage. I am very thankful for this opportunity to get a good high school education through the SAS Ai, Inc. scholarship program.
Sincerely Yours,
Melvie Legaspina

SAS Ai, Inc. gives me and my family tremendous financial help in pursuing my high school education at SAS. SAS Ai offers a virtual classroom in their official website and participating in those learning activities has helped me improve my English grammar, usage and vocabulary. When somebody makes mention and recognizes my being a SAS Ai scholar, I feel my morale boosted. I am proud to be a SAS Ai scholar. Finally, I am most grateful for the help SAS Ai’s scholarship assistance program gives me and my family.
Sincerely,

SAS Ai Scholar
SAS Ai’s scholarship program has helped me a lot as a student. Without this help I may not have been able to study at SAS. It makes me feel good inside that my selection as one of the SAS Ai recipients of their scholarship program was not only based on family financial need but also on my academic strength. I am proud to be a SAS Ai scholar. Most of all SAS Ai shouldered the financial burden that otherwise would have fallen on my parents shoulders. For all of this, my whole family and I wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the all our generous benefactors and sponsors. Long live SAS Ai! May SAS Ai grow and always prosper.
Respectfully,
Karen Paola Makil
If there is one organization I would put on top of my list, it would be SASAi. This small organization is run by professionals who give their time and money for an outstanding cause. SASAi has build a good name that now a lot of poor but academically talented students apply for a SASAi scholarship. Regretfully, SASAI couldn't accomodate all applicants due to limited funds. SASAi has done a lot in awarding scholarships to needy students but more must be done. To continue its mission, SASAi urgently need help from individuals, private organizations who would like to help young and talented students continue their education. SASAi needs help now. Please don't give until it hurts. Give until it makes you feel good.
I have contributed to this non-profit organization and I am very impressed with their dedication to their cause. They make sure that the scholars are mentored and provided with the necessary guidance throughout the school year. This is my second year of sponsoring a scholar and what I also like about SAS Ai is that they keep and maintain their website with up-to-date news about the scholars' activities and progress. I would recommend this organization to anyone who have the means to contribute in sending needy and bright students to school to get a quality education. I wish SAS Ai all the success!
St. Augustine’s School Alumni International, Inc. ( SAS Ai ) is known around the globe as a non-profit, public charity organization. RHW Foundation of Liechtenstein, a European Charity Foundation, believes in the mission and goals of SAS Ai. RHW Foundation was so impressed with the 8-member SAS Ai Field Team based locally in Tagudin tasked to look after the educational needs, welfare, support and to give emotional encouragement to the scholars that in 2010, they provided several sponsorships for high school students. These are bright and highly motivated kids who came from poor and underprivileged families in the township of Tagudin and from surrounding townships, in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. The RHW Foundation is pleased with the successful administration and management of the scholarship program so effectively implemented by SAS Ai. I personally am proud to be connected with this organization. It is my pleasure to nominate SAS Ai Inc. as my favorite non-profit charity organization.
SAS Ai mission is to help bright and promising students who come from very poor families in Tagudin and its neighboring towns get a high school education at St. Augustine's School, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, Philippines by sponsoring their 4-year high school through scholarships. If these bright kids never get into high school, it is really a pity to see their abilities go to waste.
There are many ways we can help those who are in need. We can donate food, services, and even give financial help. But there is a group with a unique approach at charitable works. They are the St Augustine School Alumni International, Inc. nonprofit corporation (SAS Ai, Inc. for short). SAS Ai believes that education is freedom. With education people can transcend the limitations imposed by poverty, go find gainful employment beyond geographical boundaries, and become productive members of society. SAS Ai funds the high school education of bright, academically strong, and motivated kids who come from very poor families through their scholarship funds. SAS Ai solicits gifts and donations from the general public and being a 501(c)(3) public charity organization, donations are tax deductible. To date SAS Ai has 22 scholars in all high school grade levels in its rolls. These students perform well scholastically and are in the honor rolls at year's end. SAS Ai covers per student the main tuition, books, lab fees, athletic wear, shoes, socks, school supplies, and Internet Cafe dues with the computer time used for research. As one of the donors to the mission of SAS Ai, I am very pleased with the way with which the scholarship funds are managed, disbursed and raised. All who work in the daily operations of SAS Ai are volunteers and do not receive any financial remuneration. Working in SAS Ai is purely a labor of charity for the sake of these kids who come from very poor families who would otherwise not have an opportunity at a secondary education. I am proud to nominate SAS Ai, Inc. as my favorite nonprofit charity organization.
SAS Ai, Inc. has made tremendous inroads in its "outreach through education" program to the bright and promising children of poor and underprivileged families of the township of Tagudin and its neighboring towns and villages, in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. SAS Ai's mission to help these smart 8th grade kids get a good high school education at SAS by sponsoring their 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grades has changed people's attitudes toward the value of good education in the achievement of one's goals. SAS Ai's scholarship fund pays for the tuition, books, lab fees, school uniforms, shoes, socks, athletic attire, school supplies, school project material costs, Internet access for research purposes, and other out of the classroom activities such as, picnics, outings, educational excursions. The SAS Ai scholarship program distinguishes itself from other such charitable sponsorships by the presence of an official 8-member SAS Ai Field Team based locally and on campus to look after the welfare of our student charges, to provide needed school supplies, to help monitor their academic progress and report it to the Board. Other family foundations, or groups giving student assistance only go as far as paying the student's matriculation. SAS Ai holds all student beneficiaries accountable for their scholastic performance, their personal behavior, and their social development. Each SAS Ai scholar is expected to maintain a grade point average of 85% or higher on all subjects. No other charitable organization dealing with student assistance practices and demands such high expectations from its student beneficiaries. As such, SAS Ai's scholarship program has become the premier and the gold standard of scholarship programs. All officers and board members of SAS Ai are volunteers and draw no financial remuneration. In fact officers and board members give to SAS Ai from their own personal resources just to achieve the mission. SAS Ai, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) public charity organization that is frequently imitated but never equaled.
