My son Isaac started riding at Spirithorse Therapeutic Riding Center 2 years ago. He has Cerbal Palsy On his right side as well as speech issues. When he rides, his right leg loosens, his right arm engages and his speech becomes more fluid. As a mom of a special needs child, this is an incredible gift to witness. Spirithorse is more then a pony ride. Each rider engages with their horse/pony from start to finish. They learn how to groom and tack up their mount as well as how to ride. All the while having instructors who invest in them and together goals are set for the future. I recommend Spirithorse in Canton, CT to everyone!
