Spectrum Health Services is where I go for my medical care. This office is much more than a clinic they are all inclusive. They have helped me with my personal affairs as well. Walking into the doors of this facility is like walking into the home of a family member. The staff is caring, nurturing and they understand what iam dealing with. they look to be moving into a new building. Therefore I am sure they could use any support they can get. The things they do, benefit the community. Every year they have one of the largest, most informative and entertaining haleth fairs. This year I went and was able to get my children dental exams and they learned what to do in case of a fire. Overall, the family had a blast and we ended up staying for hours. This group deserves it.

Is to improve the health status of its patients and of the residents living in communities surrounding its delivery sites through an organized, comprehensive program of primary care services, social and health education, promotion and prevention programs
Programs: Medical services: spectrum health services, inc. (shs) has provided health care services that are responsive to community needs for over 50 years. Spectrum's model of care provides for all ages and for the complexity of medical and social issues experienced by the patients served. The haverford ave, broad street and reed street health centers provide primary and preventive services, including well-baby, child and adolescent services: adult services including gynecological, prenatal and obstetric services, geriatric services, and family planning services: services related to chronic illness; diagnostic testing and screening through an on-site clia lab and referral; hearing and vision testing; prescription assistance and referrals, children's oral health screening on-site and services through referral. The clinical team of medical providers, nurses and medical assistants word in concert to ensure that patient care is thorough, complete, and fully understood by the patient. Medical care is based on professionally accepted standards of care and delivery in a confidential and ethical manner to all patients.
other health services: core medical services are supported with program and services for adolescent health, geriatric health, hiv/aids outreach and primary care and specialized case management services for people with diabetes, cardiovascular problems, hypertension, and asthma. Behavioral health services are embedded in primary care and referrals are made for dental health care for adults and children. Nutrition and health education are provided a registered nutritionist and certified health educator in conjunction with the primary care providers. Dietitian services are available for patients requiring this service. Shs's sites have level 2 laboratories that perform in-house clia tests. Shs clinical staffs are on call 24 hours, 7 days a week. Enabling services are provided through the case management department and include linkages to other community-based services such as wic, income support, housing, employment assistance, in-home services, meals-on-wheels, and other needed services.
